It had been five whole years since Janus had been made a speedster. An while he was in his transformation he had mentally and physically adopted the body of a above average athletic eighteen year old teen. Janus's surroundings in the speed-force hadn't changed at all it was still as dark and dreary as it had been when the speed-force had first been created zillions of years ago along with the multi-verse. But suddenly for the first time something had happen'd a portal in the sky had been produced by the speed force above Janus's unconscious form. A lightning bolt had stuck down over Janus's body lighting up his scar blood red making him disappear from the speed-force entirely. In Gotham a storm cloud had appeared in the bright clear sky  sending a red bolt of lightning into a ally way below causing the ground to shake. The tremors were so severe that all of Gotham could feel them. As the lightning dispersed a fully suited up eighteen year old Janus laid on the floor. He wasn't conscious physically but mentally was. He was conscious of the speed force around him. For five earth years he had been stuck in his mind scape. But during that time there was one voice that kept him company. That voice was his fathers the only voice guiding him and teaching him all he needed to know on how to use his powers.

Janus soon you will return to your timeline and when you do we will finally be reunited. Seek me out and the truth will be revealed to you as everything you know is not what it seems to be. But you my child are destined to be my legacy." His father said rather cryptically. He had gotten use to his fathers cryptic way of speaking a long time ago. It wasn't the same cheerful and happy voice that he knew five years ago. It was more ominous and calculative something that took a while to get use to. Janus didn't know how his father could speak to him from within the speed-force. When Janus asked his father why they were able to talk telepathically his father said that he had been exposed to the speed force for a great amount of time and gained abilities from the speed force. Janus knew something in his dad's explanation didn't add up, but he never really cared just as long as he could talk to his father while in his mind. At the snap of his fathers invisible hands a bolt of lightning had struck Janus's body and Janus's mind went black.

Janus's POV

I opened my eyes quickly closing them due to the bright sun in my eyes..wait the sun !! I quickly got up zooming to my feet. This shocked me a little causing me to collide with the dumpster in the ally way. I was even more surprised at what i saw. I had grown from a five feet tall child to a six foot two adult. And best of all the speed-force had given me a suit just like my fathers. But instead of red and yellow the suit was a shadowy black with a blood red lightning bolt in the middle and a white circle around the lightning bolt completing the emblem on my chest. I looked around seeing that i was alone deciding this was the perfect chance to test out my speed. I got into a running start up position. I could feel red lightning coursing around my body. I looked straight ahead to the end of the alleyway at the street. I channeled my lightning at my feet before bolting out of the ally way and into the streets of Gotham. As i ran it was like everyone was moving in slow-mo. I ran past parked cars causing there windshields to shatter due to my take off. Running at in human speeds was the best feeling i had ever experienced. While i ran everything had seemed to sloe down exponentially. People cars and even the clouds were slowed down. It was like i was in my own universe and i was god. While i was running there was one car that was going faster then the others. It was a rather expensive looking red Lamborghini. I looked into the drivers seat and saw a ten year old kid behind the wheel and a seventeen year old in the passenger seat. Yup Gotham was definitely weirder then Central city. I picked up speed passing the car easily. I had ran twenty laps around the island circling my way back the way i came. And once again i saw the red Lamborghini again but this time it was being chased by a police car. Right in front of the Lamborghini was a old lady out in the street. If i didn't save the lady she would definitely be a stain on the floor. "Time to be a hero" I muttered to myself feeling red lightning course through my eyes. As i raced down the street time slowing to were everything almost stopped around me . I ran using the cop car as a platform to run on and propel my self in the air. Landing on the Lamborghini i ran to the women taking her by the neck and back making sure she didn't pass out from the G's i was emitting with my speed or worse snap her neck. I took her to the other side of the street and on the side walk. Time went back to normal and the car zoomed passed but not without me catching the eyes of the seventeen year old in the passenger seat. I had a feeling i wouldn't be seeing the last of those two. The cop car stopped in front of us and a young officer came out. "Mam are you ok ?" The young officer asked running out of his vehicle and stopping in front of us. "Yes i am thanks to Kid Flash over here". She said looking up at me. The officer looked at me with a calculating look. "Can i speak with you for a moment sir ?, The officer asked me. "Sure" I said not being worried in the slightest by the officers glare. We walked into a ally way the cop taking lead. He stopped and then whipped around throwing a syringe at my leg. I dropped down on one knee in pain from injection. I injected you with a speed dampener, now who the hell are you and why are you posing as Kid Flash he's been dead for five years. The cop said glaring daggers down at me. My eyes widened at what i had just heard i was to shocked to formulate words. The cops glare softened and he kneeled down putting a hand on my shoulder.

 "No.... Wally" 

I said a tear dripping down from my eye's.

"How do you know Wally ?"

 The cop asked me his voice taking a gentler tone. I was on guard wondering the connection between this cop and Wally. He's my cousin,how do you know him aren't you suppose to be a random cop ? I asked curiously. Me and him were on the young justice team together. I looked at him with a deadpan look before i was taken into the speed force Wally had joined the junior Justice League team Young Justice. I had met all of his teammates before as dad use to take me to there base of operation at Mount Justice. The cop picked up on my deadpan look.

"I was robin but now i'm.."

 He said before i interrupted him realizing who he was now.

"Wait Dickiebird !!!"

 i said with amazement in my voice. That was the name that i had used for dick when i had first met him all those years ago and ever since that it had stuck. Even Dicks adopted brother Jason had started calling him that. Before his u

Dick looked at me with surprise and shock on his face.

"Janus !!!!"

 He said giving me a back crushing hug.

"It's nice to see you again but how in the world are you alive everybody thought you were dead  after you were taken by the black flash."

Dick ask puzzled his grip loosening on me enough for me to breath. I couldn't help but notice how different dick looked from when i remembered him as robin. His hair was a little bit longer, his body was more toned and developed judging by his  six pack that could be seen through his police officer shirt. I blushed a little looking away so Dick couldn't see the massive blush that was with out a doubt showing even with my mask on.

"Yea about that long story short the speed force gave me powers and told me that i would have to fulfill my destiny". I said not telling him the part were my father was talking to me from within the speed-force teaching me all that i needed to know throughout the years. 

"That doesn't explain why you have the physical appearance of a eighteen year old boy." 

Dick said raising an eyebrow in utter confusion looking me up and down making me blush even more.

Um....I...I was in a coma for five years while the speed-force was manifesting in my body at-least that's what the speed force told me. But look do you know were i can find my dad iv'e been meaning to see him since i got back."

 I said trying to divert the direction of the conversation so he wouldn't learn that i was being dishonest. It wasn't like i didn't trust Dick but i still wanted to be cautious remembering my fathers words before i left the speed-force 'Not everything is what it seems.' Dick seemed to get nervous after this, something was definitely up. 

"Oh..well um you see he's um...of on a justice league mission right now"

 He said chuckling nervously.

"Dickiebird!"

 I said giving him a speed-force enhanced glare my eyes pulsing red lightning for added effect. 

"Oh alright he's at his house but before you go running there just be careful since Wally's death he hasn't been the same. After you were taken and then with the death of Wally it broke him, even crippled him. But then when Savitar came that was the last nail in the coffin." DIck said looking at the ground with a hint of disdain in his voice.

I took in the in the information that Dick had told me, it seemed like my father had been through a lot since i was gone and i missed all of it. But hopefully with me back i could help my dad get up and running again.

"Thanks Dick and ill see you around"

 I said speeding up to him and giving him a hug and then racing of to central city. I ran going well passed mock seven, i was so eager to get back home to the city that i grew up in that i almost ran passed it all together. I stopped in the middle of the city skidding to a halt as i did. I took in the sights it was just how i remembered it to be tall sky scrapers,the bright blue sky almost out of a painting brightening up the city's atmosphere. Man it felt good to be back ! As i took in the city i didn't notice that i was standing in the middle of the street holding up a long line of traffic in both directions. Until the sounds of the horns of irritated driver snapped me back to reality startling me out of my thoughts.

"Hey Flash wannabe if you didn't notice theirs people  who have places to go so why don't you speed along and let us normal folks drive please !! A taxi driver said rather rudely as he hung out of his car window. This irritated me a little so i flipped him the bird and went into a running stance focusing red lightning flickering around my legs. I took of undoubtedly causing a sonic boom behind me that would shatter the rude taxi drivers windshield. I raced to my mom and dad's house stopping in front of the house. My mothers car wasn't in the drive way so she must have been at work, after all photojournalists were busy people. I raced into the house and into the front door 

"Dad im home!!"

I called out not getting a direct response. I knew he was home from what Dick told me but were could he be ? Before i could even take another step in a blink of an eye i saw my dad. He was front of me with a furious look on his face.He looked worse for ware his hair was longer then it was five years ago and he had a five o clock shadow. And smelled of heavy alcohol. (I know speedsters cant get drunk but for the sake of the story Barry drinks alcohol anyway) He held me against the wall by my neck tightening his grip to the point were it was starting to hurt.

"Who the hell are you and what are you doing in my house !!"

 Dad screamed at me with a furious look in his eyes orange lightning appearing in his eyes for a split second. I quickly tore my mask off revealing my face to dad.

"Dad its me Janus your son iv'e come back !" I cried out desperately trying to reason with him.

"I have no son" He said throwing me off of the wall and onto the floor using his super speed.

To say i was shocked was an understatement the man i known my whole life to be my father, the man who i looked up to, the man i admired, was disowning me.

"Dad what in the world are you talking about."

"I'm not your dad kid so don't you ever call me that. Your that dam evil time remnant of mines bastard child not mines !!!"

 Dad yelled out at me in pure rage and hatred.

"I....I don't understand" I said tears welling up in my eyes.

"Your Savitar's son not mines. He's my evil time remnant, him and your mother went and got it on with him acting as me. He's the reason she left me. He's the reason Wally died !!"

 He said avoiding eye contact with me.

"But you took care of me since i was born why do all of that and disown me now ?"

I asked tears flowing down my face even more and at a faster rate.

"I didn't know you were the demon spawn of that devil until recently. Knowing that i cant even stand the sight of you. So leave before i vibrate my hand through your chest." 

The man i once called my father said venom in his words and with a look of pure hatred on his face. I ran as fast as i could out of the house i once called home. Running out of central city faster then i had ever ran before. I blew past keystone city and eventually broke the sound barrier i didn't know were i was running to but i just knew that i had to run. I was pretty sure i had left the western hemisphere. I was running on a body of water hat stretched on for ages. I looked to the right of me seeing my reflection looking back at me and then away. I remembered the voice in the speed force told me when i ran this fast i was on the verge of running through time. An that was exactly what i was about to do. If dad didn't want me then i was going to erase myself from existence. So that o wouldn't cause my dad anymore trouble. I saw a portal form off in the distance that i was running to. I ran towards it picking up speed  i took a deep breath as i was coming up closer to the portal. But before i could run through it i felt something stop me in my tracks rather abruptly. Before i knew it i was being carried on someones shoulder. At speeds that were way passed mines. This person who ever they were had to be running passed mock ninety because our surroundings were changing by the second. That was until we suddenly stopped at what must have been our destination. There was a concrete floor underneath us, so i had to guess i was at this speedsters current residence of stay. The speedster took me off his shoulder and set me down on a couch. 

"Why the hell did you stop me and who the hell are you." I said lowly bringing my legs up to my chest and hugging them 

The speedster didn't answer instead he walked away from me. I looked up at him as he did finally getting a good look at him. He was very tall and had a bulky metallic looking suit on. With eyes that glowed pure blue. His suit also glowed blue from the inside and from the openings. He had a metallic lightning bolt on the center of his chest. 

"Most know me as Savitar the god of speed but you know me as father." Savitar said kneeling down .

The suit opened up from the back the helmet opening up first and then the spine of the suit revealing what appear to be a blond hair man. As he rose from the suit and stood before me i was shocked for the third time today. Standing in front of me with a scar on the left side of the face was my father. He wore a grin from ear to ear.

"You don't know how long iv'e been waiting to properly introduce myself to you" Janus  he said cupping my cheek in his hand. I was at a loss for words. The only thing i could process was that my father was Savitar and i was his son.
