Joey has been having contractions for the past two hours. He is curled up in a ball in bed. Joey is thirty seven weeks pregnant. "Do you think it's time, Joey?" Daniel asks softly as he rubs Joey's back.

Joey nods as he has an intense contraction. "Okay sweety. Let me call Hope so she can watch Aspen for us." Daniel says as he kisses Joey's cheek. Daniel calls Hope and Aspen walks in the bedroom.

"Hey baby. Auntie Hope is coming over to spend the night, are you excited?" Joey asks and Aspen nods.

Joey gives Aspen a kiss on the cheek. Joey takes deep breaths during the intense contractions.

"Everything is in the car ready to go, Joey." Daniel says as he rubs Joey's back. Joey sits up and kisses Daniel. Daniel rubs Joey's shoulders to make him feel more comfortable.

Joey and Daniel both head downstairs along with Aspen. "Daddy okay?" Aspen asks Joey. "Aw baby, I'm okay. You are so sweet." Joey says kissing Aspen's forehead.

Hope arrives and Aspen runs to her. "Hi Aspen! Are you ready to have some fun?" Hope asks Aspen and she nods.

"Call me when Mr. Everett is here! I am so excited! Love you guys!" Hope says, hugging both  Joey and Daniel.

"We totally will, Aspen be a good girl for Auntie Hope. I love you!" Daniel says kissing and hugging Aspen.

"Wuv you Papa! Wuv you Daddy!" Aspen says hugging Joey's leg. "I love you too Aspen! Have fun with Auntie Hope!" Joey says giving Aspen a hug and kiss.

Joey and Daniel walk out and get in the car. "Are you okay, Joey?" Daniel asks and Joey nods. "The contractions are just strong." Joey says taking deep breaths. Daniel begins to twenty minute drive to the hospital.

Once at the hospital, Joey is all settled in his room and is in bed. Daniel is unpacking the bags, getting things they need out. Joey has been having a lot of contractions and is in excruciating pain.

"Do you want pain medicine, baby?" Daniel asks Joey. Joey nods his head fast. "Okay baby, I'll tell the doctor. Take nice deep breaths Joey. I'm right here." Daniel says tenderly and holding Joey's hand.

"I love you Daniel." Joey says quietly. "I love you too, sweety. You are doing amazing. Our baby boy is coming soon." Daniel says with a smile. Daniel rubs Joey's back until Joey gets his epidural to help with the pain.

Daniel and Joey take a selfie and post it on Daniel's Instagram with the caption: "Our little man is coming! Joey is doing really well, he is resting as we wait. Keep you guys updated! 💙👶🏻 #BabyEverett"

After being in labor for six hours, it's time to push. "You ready to meet our baby boy?" Daniel asks and Joey nods. Joey holds Daniel's hand and Daniel kisses it.

"I'm going to be right by your side." Daniel says and Joey smiles. Daniel kisses Joey's cheek.

After thirty minutes of pushing, at 2:00pm, Everett Phoenix Preda is born! Everett cries loudly on Joey's chest and both Daniel and Joey tears up.

"Shh, it's okay baby boy. It's okay." Joey says calming Everett down. Daniel rubs Joey's hair out of his eyes and kisses Joey's cheek.

"Hi baby boy! Happy birthday!" Daniel says tenderly, as he looks at Everett. Everett has Daniel's dark brown hair, Daniel's green eyes, and most of Joey's facial features.

"What a cutie! What's his name?" The nurse asks as she suctions Everett's mouth out as he cries. The other nurse puts a blanket on Everett to keep him warm. "Everett." Joey and Daniel say in unison.

"Happy birthday, Everett!" The nurse says wiping Everett's nose off. Daniel kisses Everett's forehead. "Hey little man. You are so perfect." Daniel says looking at Everett.

"He's so little!" Joey says as he kisses Everett's cheek. "He is, he is so cute!" Daniel says. "Mr. Preda, would you like to cut Everett's cord?" Dr. Smith asks Daniel and he happily nods.

"Go ahead and cut between the two clamps." The nurse says. Daniel cuts the cord and hands the scissors back to the nurse.

"Okay Mr. Graceffa-Preda, we are going to take Everett to get cleaned up and checked right over there. We will bring him right back." The nurse says smiling carrying Everett.

Joey smiles at Daniel and they kiss twice. "You did absolutely incredible, Joey! I am so proud of you." Daniel says kissing Joey's forehead.

"Thank you, Danny. He is really tiny." Joey says in a worried tone. Daniel hugs Joey to comfort him.

"Aw, don't worry! He is perfectly fine! He is three weeks early, but he is doing excellent. He is crying up a storm over there! He was just ready to be born! Congratulations!" Dr. Smith says.

"Thank you!" Joey and Daniel say in unison. Joey feels relief that Everett is perfectly healthy, just small. "Five pounds, eleven ounces! And nineteen inches!" The nurse calls out as she wraps Everett in a blanket.

Everett begins to cry loudly again. "Aw it's okay, bud! Here's your Daddy and Papa!" The nurse says handing Everett to Joey. "I'll bring you a bottle for him!" The other nurse says walking out to get a bottle.

"Are you hungry, little man?" Daniel says as he kisses Everett's forehead. The nurse brings in a bottle and a few diapers for Everett. "Thank you so much." Joey says as he begins to feed Everett.

"You're welcome! Congratulations to you both! If you guys need anything or have any questions, just call the nurses station." The nurse says as she walks out of the room.

"Good job, Everett. You must have been hungry." Joey says to Everett in a whisper. Daniel begins to Snapchat the moment and does not showing Everett's face.

"Everett is here! There's Daddy feeding him." Daniel says and Joey look up at Daniel and smiles. Joey burps Everett and hands Everett over to Daniel. Joey takes a picture of Daniel holding Everett and posts it on Instagram with the caption: "Proud Papa💙 Everett is here and we couldn't be more excited! More pictures later 😘"

"I love you, Joey." Daniel says kissing him softly. "I love you too. Thank you for everything today. Aw, Everett is falling asleep." Joey says looking at Everett falling asleep on Daniel's chest.

"You're welcome Joey. You did unbelievable." Daniel says. "Thank you, Danny. I couldn't have done it without you." Joey says as relaxes in his bed.

A few hours later, Joey and Daniel post a picture on their Instagram accounts and they finally reveal Everett's face! Joey puts the caption as: "Welcome to the world, Everett Phoenix! He decided to come 3 weeks early, but is doing amazing! He weighs 5 pounds, 11 ounces and is 19 inches long. He is absolutely perfection. Aspen will meet her brother later today! I can't wait for them to meet. Thank you guys for the love and support. Birth vlog will be up within the next few days. 💙👶🏻"

Daniel's caption is: "Today has been absolutely wonderful and new chapter in Joey and I's life when we welcomed this precious little boy in our lives. Meet Everett Phoenix Preda! Born today, August 15th at 2:00pm. He weighs 5 pounds, 11 ounces and is 19 inches long. Joey did incredible and I am so proud of him. Joey & I are very grateful for all the prayers, love and support! We are so glad to have you guys along for our journey! 👶🏻👨‍👨‍👧‍👦"

"How about you take a nap babe, you worked hard today." Daniel says smiling at Joey. Joey smiles and he lays down. "Wake me up in an hour or so Danny, okay?" Joey says and Daniel nods.

"Sleep well, beautiful." Daniel says in a whisper. He puts Everett on his chest and relaxes in the recliner next to Joey.

A few hours later, Aspen comes to visit! :)
