Joey is in the kitchen, while Daniel, Everett and Nicole are outside swimming. Aspen hasn't been feeling well, so Joey decides to make a doctor's appointment for the next day. Everett's teeth are coming in, making him fussy.

Joey looks at Aspen and Aspen looks confused. "Aspen? What's wrong baby?" Joey asks. Aspen falls over and Joey catches her. Aspen begins to have a seizure. Joey panics and begins to scream.

"Oh my God! DANIEL! NICOLE! HELP! HELP!" Joey says as he panics. Daniel runs in, while Nicole walks with Everett in her arms.

"WHAT DO I DO! WHAT DO I DO!" Joey says as he panics. Nicole puts Everett in his pack 'n play and she runs over to Aspen.

"Did she have a fever?" Nicole asks. "When I checked it earlier it was 101." Joey says as he sniffles.

"That's why she is seizing. It's because of her fever. Joey, get me some cold wash cloths so we can cool her down, and Daniel call 911." Nicole says. Joey runs to the bathroom and Daniel calls 911.

Joey and Nicole begin to cool Aspen down. After two minutes of seizing, Aspen stops. Nicole lays Aspen on her side. "There you go. Make sure she isn't throwing up." Nicole says softly.

Aspen opens her eyes and looks at Joey. "Hey baby girl! It's okay sweety. It's okay." Joey says as he rubs Aspen's forehead.

"Is she awake?" Daniel asks as he is on the phone with 911 and Nicole nods. "Just relax Aspen, it's okay. Doctors are coming to make you feel better." Nicole says.

The ambulance comes and puts Aspen on the stretcher. "One parent can come to the hospital with us." The EMT worker says.

"Joey, go with Aspen and I'll pack bags just in case we need to stay." Daniel says and Joey nods. Joey and Daniel kiss, Joey kisses Everett's cheek, pets the dogs and hugs his sister.

"Text me updates, okay?" Nicole says and Joey nods. Joey heads into the ambulance with Aspen and they leave.

Daniel hugs Nicole tightly. "Thank you so much, Nicole. You are a hero." Daniel says.

"You're welcome! And aw, that's so sweet Daniel. She's going to be fine. Jett used to have them when he was little and he doesn't have seizures now. She will outgrow it. She just doesn't feel well. I'll watch Everett so you can be with Joey and Aspen." Nicole says as she picks up Everett.

Daniel kisses Everett's cheek and bags a back for him and Joey. "Call me if you need anything, Nicole." Daniel says. "I will, text me updates on Aspen." Nicole says as she kisses Everett's cheek.

"I will, love you guys!" Daniel says as he leaves. Daniel drives the twenty minute drive to the hospital.

Daniel finds Joey in the waiting room and hugs him tightly. Joey is crying and Daniel tries to calm him down. "It's okay Joey. I am here." Daniel says as he rubs Joey's back.

Daniel gets a text from Joey's sister Nicole saying that Everett is feeling better and is asleep. She sent a picture of him sleeping finally.

"Babe, Everett is feeling a lot better. Nicole gave him medicine for his teeth and he is sleeping." Daniel says softly. "Good. I'm glad he is feeling better. I am so worried about Aspen, what if she has seizures! That's awful!" Joey says.

"I know it is baby. I know, we have to see what the doctor thinks is going on." Daniel says as Joey lays his head on Daniel's lap.

"I want to see our baby girl." Joey says as he cries. "I do too, baby. I do too." Daniel says as he kisses Joey's cheek. After a few more minutes, the doctor walks into the waiting room.

The doctor walks over to Joey, and Daniel. "Hello Mr. Graceffa-Preda and Mr. Preda." Dr. Nguyen says.

"Is Aspen okay?" Joey says in tears. Dr. Nguyen nods.

"Aspen is doing just fine. What Aspen had is called a febrile seizure. Febrile seizures are very common in young children. Two to five out of one hundred children have a febrile seizure in their life. This does not mean what so ever that Aspen will develop epilepsy and it doesn't damage the brain. Febrile seizures are caused by a high fever, which Aspen had. The fever was caused by having a middle ear infection in both of her ears. Febrile seizures usually stop between age five or six. She may have another one if she spikes another high fever, but most kids do not. Aspen is resting, and is watching tv with one of the nurses. I want her to stay the night for observation. Just to make sure she doesn't seize again. She will make a full recovery." Dr. Nguyen says.

"Thank you so much for taking care of her." Daniel says. "It's my pleasure! Would you like to come back and see her? She keeps asking the nurse where her Daddy and Papa is." Dr. Nguyen says.

"Aw, she is so sweet!" Joey says as he grabs his things. "Who's who?" Dr. Nguyen asks with a smile. "I'm Papa and he's Daddy." Daniel says and Joey nods.

"That's so sweet, follow me, I'll take you to Aspen's room. Dinner time will be in an hour, but if she wants something else you can give it too her." Dr. Nguyen says.

Joey and Daniel walk into Aspen's room. Aspen is sitting in her bed, drinking some water and is watching tv. The nurse is checking her vitals and is keeping her company.

The nurse smiles at Joey and Daniel. Aspen looks up and beams as she sees her parents, after two hours of being in the hospital.

"Hey princess! Are you feeling better?" Daniel asks and Aspen nods. Joey smiles at Daniel. "Where's Everett?" Aspen asks. "He's at home with Auntie Nicole. He's feeling better too." Joey says as he sits on Aspen's bed.

"If you guys need anything just call the nurse's station. Get some rest Aspen." Dr. Nguyen says as he shuts the door. Aspen waves at Dr. Nguyen.

"Daddy, Papa, don't leave. Pwease." Aspen says pouting. "We aren't leaving, baby. We are going spend the night with you." Daniel says as he opens his bag. "Are you hungry. Aspen?" Joey asks and Aspen nods.

"Do you want what the hospital has or do you want me to get you something." Daniel says. "Let's see what the hospital has." Joey says opening the menu.

"They have fish sticks, spaghetti, hamburger and hot dogs." Joey says and Aspen nods no. "They have Chick Fil A downstairs." Daniel says and Aspen nods happily.

"Okay, I'll get you some of that. Babe, do you want something to eat?" Daniel asks and Joey nods. "Just get me a salad and an iced tea please. Aspen, what would you like sweety?" Joey asks.

"Chicken nuggets and fries." Aspen says. "Okay, I'll be right back, okay? I love you." Daniel says kissing Aspen's cheek. "Love you Papa." Aspen says. Daniel kisses Joey twice and heads out to the cafeteria downstairs.

"I wanna go home, Daddy." Aspen says. "I know you do baby, but the doctor just wants to make sure you are okay." Joey says and Aspen cuddles with Joey.

A few minutes later, Daniel brings in the food. "Milk!" Aspen says. "Let me help you open it. There you go princess." Joey says. "Thank you, Daddy." Aspen says. "You're welcome, sweety." Joey says.

Aspen begins to eat her dinner. Joey and Daniel smile at each other. "Thank you babe." Joey says. "You're welcome sweety." Daniel says as he puts dressing on his salad.

Aspen, Daniel and Joey talked during dinner about everything, mostly about princesses and dolls.

Joey cleans Aspen's face off and helps her brush her teeth. They come back to the room and Joey helps Aspen get into the bed. "Okay baby girl, you are all ready for bed." Joey says. Aspen pouts because she doesn't have her unicorn, until...

"Look who I have!" Daniel says. "Corny!" Aspen says beaming ear to ear. "I have your blanket too sweety." Daniel says kissing Aspen's cheek.

Daniel and Joey lay in Aspen's bed with her. "Night night Daddy and Papa! Wuv you." Aspen says. "Goodnight Aspen, I love you." Daniel says kissing Aspen.

"Goodnight Aspen, get some sleep. I love you so much." Joey says as he covers her up. Aspen quickly falls asleep.

"Goodnight baby, love you." Daniel says quietly. "Goodnight babe, get some sleep." Joey says as he kisses Daniel twice.

Aspen was able to come home the next day, and her ear infections went away :)
