Daniel is getting ready to take Maxwell on their special day together! Daniel is taking Maxwell to the Los Angeles Zoo which Maxwell has been wanting to go for a while now.

Maxwell is getting ready upstairs and Daniel is making Joey a fruit salad downstairs in the kitchen. Daniel picks up the camera and giggles as he tries to figure it out.

"There we go! Joey got a new camera and I literally have been trying to turn it on for like five minutes. Anyway, I am making Joey a fruit salad since that's all he has been craving lately. This baby must really love fruit! Also, I am currently waiting for Maxwell to get dressed because I am taking him to the zoo! He really has been wanting to go and today is the perfect day to go. Plus, all the other kids are out doing things today. Aspen is at a sleepover, Everett is at a friend's house, and Haven, Luna and River are out running errands with my mom. Let's see what two of my favorite boys are doing!" Daniel says as he walks upstairs.

Daniel walks into the master bedroom where Joey is sitting up in bed editing a video. The dogs are all laying all around the bed.

"Hi, babe! Here's your fruit salad you have been craving." Daniel says as Joey happily grabs the bowl.

"Thank you! You look so handsome today!" Joey says as he kisses Daniel.

"Thank you! Is Max ready to go?" Daniel asks Joey as he sits down on the bed and pets Lark.

"I don't know, actually. Maxwell! Come here, bud!" Joey says as Maxwell walks out of his bedroom and walks into the master bedroom.

"Yes, Daddy?" Maxwell says as he fixes his belt on his jeans.

"Hi, cutie! Are you ready to go out with Papa?" Joey says to Maxwell as Maxwell walks over to the bed.

"Yes, Daddy! Hi, Papa!" Maxwell says as he hugs Daniel.

"Hey! Get some comfy shoes on, we are going to be walking a lot today." Daniel says as Max smiles.

"Daddy is going to be all by himself, Papa! I don't Daddy by himself." Maxwell says making Joey and Daniel giggle.

"Aw, that's very sweet, Max. But don't worry, Nonna, Havey, Luna and River are going to be home soon. I am going to rest with Wolf, Storm and Lark." Joey says as he kisses Maxwell's cheek.

"Okay! Love you, Daddy!" Maxwell says as he hugs Joey.

"I love you too! Have fun with Papa!" Joey says with a big grin. 

"Get some rest, love. Eat up this fruit! I love you." Daniel says as he kisses Joey.

"I will! And I love you! Take lots of pictures for me." Joey says as Daniel nods.

"I definitely will! If you need anything just tell my mom and she will do it." Daniel says and Joey smiles.

Daniel and Max pack a bag full of snacks and drinks before heading in the car!

"Camera! What's up?" Maxwell says from the backseat.

"Hellur! We are going out on our special day together! Where are we going, Maxwell?" Daniel says as he films Maxwell.

"To the zoo!" Maxwell says happily.

"That's right! We are heading to zoo for a fun day! We are probably going to jam to Britney Spears or Kesha. Who do you wanna listen to?" Daniel asks Maxwell.

"Kesha!" Maxwell says as he kicks his feet with a huge grin.

Daniel films Maxwell getting out of the car. Maxwell waves at Daniel and smiles brightly.

"We are here! What a beautiful day to go to the zoo!" Daniel says, locking the car up.

Maxwell begins to walk away from Daniel.

"Stay with me, bud. Hold my hand, Max." Daniel says as Maxwell holds his hand as they walk to the entrance of the zoo.

Max and Daniel wait twenty minutes before walking into the zoo! 

"After waiting forever in line, we are in the zoo! Where do you wanna go first, bud?" Daniel asks Maxwell and Maxwell looks around.

"Ooo! Look at all the flowers over there, Papa!" Maxwell says pointing to entrance to the garden.

"This is the Botanical Garden, bud! There's a bunch of plants here! Let's check it out!" Daniel says as he and Maxwell walk into the Botanical Garden.

Maxwell and Daniel look at all types of plants in the Botanical Garden! They see Acacia, Eucalyptus, Ficus, Mulberry and many types of flowers.

Daniel films Max smelling the flowers and checking out all the plants.

"Ooo, what a pretty rose! Does it smell good?" Daniel asks Maxwell.

"Yes! It smells so pretty! Can we take it home to Daddy?" Maxwell asks Daniel.

"No, we can't steal this from the zoo. Maybe we can buy Daddy a flower from the store." Daniel says as Maxwell giggles.

"We are looking at all the Amphibians now! We are in the Amphibians exhibit they have! They all live on this really neat building in these tank looking things. Max, where are you?" Daniel says as he looks for Max.

"Right here, Papa! Look at this cool frog! It's so yellow! Like a highlighter!" Maxwell says as Daniel films the bright yellow frog sitting on a stick in his tank.

"That is a Golden Poison Dart frog! This is a poisonous frog so no wonder he's in this tank all by himself." Daniel says and Maxwell smiles.

"Look at this bright green frog over here!" Maxwell says as he points at it to Daniel.

"This frog is a Magnificent Tree Frog! Very pretty!" Daniel says as Maxwell giggles.

"All the frogs are pretty to you, Papa!" Maxwell says as he smiles.

Daniel and Maxwell also look at toads, sonorans, salamanders, Chinese giants and other types of Amphibians!

Even though Daniel hates looking at frogs and such, he does it for Maxwell, since he loves stuff like that.

"Maxwell loved looking at all the Amphibians! Right bud?" Daniel says as he films Maxwell walking next to him.

"Yeah! They are so freaking cool!" Maxwell says as he skips around.

Daniel and Maxwell walk until they find the next exhibit!

"I am literally scared to death to go in this next exhibit! I do not like these type of animals! Well, I shouldn't say that at a zoo where you should love all the animals. This is the Invertebrates exhibit!" Daniel says as he covers his eyes in fright.

"Look at the cockroaches!" Maxwell says as Daniel screams.

"Eww! Reminds me of a New York subway station!" Daniel says.

"But why don't the zoo save them and bring them here?" Maxwell asks Daniel.

"I don't know, good question!" Daniel says as Maxwell looks at the beetles and scorpions.

Daniel then films Maxwell holding a tarantula. The tarantula moves slowly up Maxwell's hand and he giggles.

"That tickles!" Maxwell says as he softly pets the tarantula.

"His name is Spider-Man! The zoo had a contest a few weeks back!" Sasha the zoo worker says.

Daniel takes a few pictures of Max and Spider-Man together. Sasha the zoo worker picks up Spider-Man and puts him back in his cage.

"What do you say to Miss Sasha?" Daniel says to Maxwell.

"Thank you!" Maxwell says with a big smile.

"You're welcome! Enjoy the rest of your day at the zoo!" Sasha says with a big smile.

"We are now looking at the birds! Much better then the invertebrates exhibit!" Daniel says as Max drinks his water.

"Some of these birds I never even heard of! There's a curassow, that's a condor, and that's a cockatoo." Daniel says filming each of the birds.

"Papa, I can't see them." Maxwell says as Daniel picks him up.

Daniel groans at Maxwell as he picks him up, because he is getting heavy and tall.

"You are getting so big bud! And heavy!" Daniel says as he kisses Maxwell's cheek.

"Woah! There's a hawk and a falcon! That's so cool!" Maxwell says as the hawk begins to fly around and the falcon chases it.

"He's big bud! Look at the cranes! There is a Indian Sarus Crane, an East African Gray Crowned Crane and a West African Black Crowned Crane!" Daniel says as Max watches the cranes walking around.

Maxwell hugs Daniel making Daniel smile happily.

Daniel and Maxwell walk over to a small pond, where the geese and ducks are swimming around.

"Look at the little duck family, bud! The mama duck has seven ducks! Just like Daddy and I! We have seven kids." Daniel says as Maxwell giggles.

Daniel and Maxwell then look at the bald eagle. Maxwell looks at the bald eagle in amazement.

"He's so pretty, isn't he?" Daniel says as Maxwell happily nods.

"His eyes are pretty." Maxwell says as Daniel walks over to the owl. The owl turns their head a whole 360 making Maxwell gasp.

"That's so cool! Why can't we do that?" Maxwell asks Daniel.

"I don't know! I know I wish I could!" Daniel says as he fixes Maxwell's hair.

Daniel let's Max walk over to see an Ostrich and Flamingo eating.

"Do ostriches and flamingos fly, Papa?" Maxwell asks Daniel.

"Flamingos do fly I think, but I don't think ostriches fly." Daniel says as he picks up Maxwell again so he can see the ostriches and flamingos better.

"There's the Hippos!" Maxwell says as he walks over to the Hippos.

"Ooo! Hello, Hippo! She is swimming around, she's doing rolls!" Daniel says as Maxwell laughs

"That's Gloria!" Maxwell says as he waves at the Hippo.

"Who?" Daniel says in confusion to Maxwell.

"Gloria from Madagascar, Papa!" Maxwell says and Daniel remembers. 

"Oh, that's right. Hello, Gloria!" Daniel says as Maxwell giggles again.

"We are at the reptile house now! Maxwell loves reptiles, right?" Daniel asks Maxwell.

"Yeah!" Maxwell says with a big grin. 

"Look at the bearded dragon! He's so shy, he's hiding in his house." Daniel says filming the bearded dragon.

"Tayden has one of those as a pet!" Maxwell says as Daniel smiles.

"Look at all those snakes! rattlesnake, python and a kingsnake. Do you like snakes, Maxwell?" Daniel asks Maxwell.

"Yeah! They are so cool! They are awesome!" Maxwell says as he giggles

"Look at the Gecko! He wants to sell you car insurance!" Daniel says as Maxwell giggles.

"He's not standing up like the one on tv!" Maxwell says making Daniel giggle.

"Because they don't, bud. That's just for tv." Daniel says as Maxwell laughs.

Maxwell runs over and sees the tortoise eating grass very slowly.

"Papa! Look at the big turtle!" Maxwell says as Daniel walks over to the tortoise display.

"That's a tortoise, bud. Not a turtle." Daniel says as Maxwell looks at the tortoise.

"What's the difference?" Maxwell asks Daniel.

"I think their shell is different and tortoises are bigger." Daniel says as Maxwell smiles.

Daniel and Maxwell also look at the iguanas, lizards, komodo dragons, alligators and bushmasters.

"Look at the giraffes, Papa!" Maxwell says as he excitedly runs over to the giraffe area.

"Aww, he's cute! He's a baby giraffe!" Daniel says as Maxwell's awes at the baby giraffe.

"Hello! Welcome to the giraffe yard! My name is Kanika! This is our newest giraffe! His name is Max!" Kanika says with a smile.

"That's my name!" Maxwell says with a cheeky grin.

"How cool! Would you like to feed him some lettuce? That's his favorite treat!" Kanika asks Maxwell.

"Sure! That sounds like fun!" Daniel says as Maxwell smiles.

Kanika hands Maxwell a few pieces of lettuce to feed Max the giraffe.

"Can you film us?" Daniel asks Kanika.

"Of course!" Kanika says as Daniel hands her the camera.

Kanika films Daniel holding Maxwell as Maxwell feeds Max the giraffe the lettuce. Maxwell giggles as Max the giraffe licks his hand.

"That tickles!" Maxwell says as he laughs out loud.

"Thank you so much!" Daniel says as Kanika hands him back the camera.

"My pleasure! Enjoy the rest of your day, Max!" Kanika says to Maxwell.

"Thank you!" Maxwell says as he holds Daniel's hand.

Maxwell walks up to a zoo worker who is holding a sloth.

"Hello! Would you like to pet her? Her name is Emilia!" Suzanne the zoo worker asks Maxwell.

"Yes!" Maxwell says as he begins to softly pet the sloth, who Suzanne is holding like a baby.

"Is the sloth soft?" Daniel asks Maxwell as he films Maxwell, Suzanne and Emilia the sloth.

"Uh huh! She's cute!" Maxwell says as he continues to pet the sloth.

"Aw! Look at the bears wrestling!" Maxwell says as the black bears run around and wrestling each other.

"That's like you, Everett and River sometimes!" Daniel says as Maxwell chuckles.

"The bears look so soft!" Maxwell says and Daniel grins.

"I'm sure they are but the workers won't let anybody touch them. They want us safe." Daniel says as Maxwell hugs his leg.

"Papa! The elephants are over there! Let's go see them!" Maxwell says and Daniel smiles.

"Hello Elephants! They are so many of them! So cute!" Daniel says as Maxwell walks over near an elephant.

The elephant sniffs Maxwell making him giggle.

"That's Ellie! She loves to sniff everybody!" Aria the zoo worker says.

"Hi, Ellie! You are a pretty girl." Daniel says petting Ellie.

"And right over there is Ellie's little baby. His name is Walter." Aria the zoo worker says.

"Aw, he's cute." Maxwell says as Daniel smiles.

"He's a big boy!" Daniel says.

"He sure is! Biggest one so far!" Aria the zoo worker says.

"What a beautiful tiger! Wow." Daniel whispers as Maxwell looks at the tiger laying down.

"Stay by me. I don't want you to get to close." Daniel says as Maxwell looks at the tiger.

Daniel and Maxwell also look at pigs, horses, gazelles, hedgehogs, anoas, anteaters, armadillos, foxes, koalas, otters, seals, jaguars, chimpanzees, deers, leopards, lemurs, orangutans, zebras, gorillas, lions, monkeys, meerkats and lemurs.

After seeing all the animals, Daniel and Max walk to the small cafe. They begin to eat a snack and water.

"Did you have fun today, buddy?" Daniel asks Maxwell.

"Yes! I had so much fun! Thank you for taking me!" Maxwell says as he smiles.

"You're welcome! I'm glad you had fun! Do you want an ICEE?" Daniel asks Maxwell.

"Yes, please!" Maxwell says as Daniel orders a red and blue ICEE.

Daniel and Max get ICEES and then leave the zoo to pick up flowers for Joey before heading home. Maxwell had a blast at the zoo with his Papa. :)

Daniel posts a picture of himself and Max. He is holding Max and they are feeding a giraffe. He writes the caption as: "Fun zoo day with my middle man!
