My jaw falls open at the same time as Renesmee's.
    "What? Where are we going?" Shrieks Renesmee.
    "Renesmee, don't talk to your father like that," I scold. "You heard him go inside and grab your valuables."
    "No! You can't just throw me around like a freaking tennis ball. Don't I get to be a least part of the conversation? Where are we going?"
    "Seattle." We both gawk at Edward.
    "Renesmee there is a suitcase in your closet go fill it, I need to talk to your father alone." Renesmee rolls her eyes but follows my instructions. I wait until i hear her close her bedroom door.
    "What the hell, Edward? Seattle? When were you going to tell me? Was this always the plan - just to surprise Renesmee and I like this?" Edward won't meet my eyes.
    "This isn't a choice, Renesmee and you are in danger."
    "From who? I understand that we don't know what happened to Seth or Alice. But what are we running from, Edward? Whatever it is that you aren't telling me, Carlisle and Esme will always be there for us? We are a family and we make decisions as a family." I try to take his hand but he pulled away from me, his eyes glued onto the dirt path.
    "No."
    "No? Edward look at me."
