Her sobs, and screams echo throughout house. Edward's hand clamps over my mouth, holding my wrist to the bed.
"We can't let her know that we heard her." Tears crawl down my cheeks, I look over and Edward's eyes are shinny too. Jane slithers fro her room, no sound made.
"What the hell?" She whispers, her eyes slits.
"She's almost sixteen."
"How much time do we have?"
"Ten days." Jane clenches a fist.
"Ten day!" She hisses. "Ten days! that's ludicrous. When will there be time?" Edward glares at her, but he knows she's right. Jane wraps her robe tighter to her body and glides off down the hall to her room. Edward pull me in closer to him. Curling into me.
"What's she thinking? What's happening?"
"She trying really hard," his voice as calm as ever, a hint of tremor in the back. "To blame it on first day jitters." I relax. "She loves you, Bella. I don't understand how she couldn't. I know she loves you." I nod against his chest.
"Should we go check on her?" Edward nods. We swing ourselves off the bed, opening the door loudly the way a human would. "Nessie?" I ask the cool night air. I knock on the door softly then walk in, with Edward messing with his hair behind me.
"Baby, you alright?" He asks. Renesmee sits up in her white four poster bed, sweat dripping from her body.
"Yeah," she exhales. "First day jitters." Edward nods, so I do too.
"What was it this time?"
"Let's just say that I'll wear my good underwear just Incase my pants fall down tomorrow." Edward and I smile.
"Okay well, try to get three more hours of sleep, then time to put the good undies on!" Nessie smiles weakly, adjusting the comforter to fit her more comfortably. "Good night!"
