1993
I was in a recording studio. I was going to be in a movie called The Lion king. I was a role called Nala. I was the older version of her. It was something that was going to be fun. It was a musical so it was going to be better.
"You ready Jamie." Someone asked. I nodded looking at the script I had next to me. I was using my voice for both the older Nala and the singing voice. It was going to be fun I never did singing before.
"Okay the soundtrack is coming on in a bit." They stated. I heard the soundtrack they had ready. It was something I'm ready for. I was with Rowan Atkinson who played Zazu, and Matthew Broderick who played Simba. They were doing their bit of the song. It was coming to my part. I never thought I could sing to save my life but I guess I had to.
"No one saying be there." I sung into the mic I had in front of me. I was scared to see how I sounded.
"What I meant was." Rowan went on. I tried not to laugh.
"No one saying stop that." Matthew went on from beside me. Rowan was on my left and Matthew on my right.
"Look what you don't realise." Rowan went on. It was funny to see how we all sang.
"No one saying see here." Me and Matthew managed to get that line spot on. I don't know how we are doing it. It was hard work working on this.
We finished up the song and I was ready to go to sleep. I luckily had a brake right now so I could go phone Tommie.
"Hey baby." I said into the phone. We had a phone we all had to use but luckily no one was on it. Tommie was on the other end.
"Hey I miss you." He answered.
"I miss you too." I stated.
"How's work?" He asked.
"Alright I had to sing today." I answered I heard him laugh.
"How did it go?" He asked.
"It went good." I answered it did go good so that was good. We continued taking on the phone till I was called to do some more scenes.
A few days later
I was doing a tv show my first tv show. I haven't been in a tv show before now so it'll be fun. I needed to do something like this. And Tom said I could get a role in a tv show so when my manager got a call for a role in a tv show I had to say yes to prove Tom wrong. I mean I love doing movies but it was time I was in a tv show. I've been doing movies for 31 years and now it's time for a tv show. It was a show called friends and I knew it was going to be funny.
