(James) Riiing! Riiing! I pull my pillow over my head. The alarm keeps ringing. I groan and sit up. I look at the small alarm cloak, vibrating on my bed-side table...I pick it up and throw it to the ground. It smashes and parts go flying...I smile. I get out of bed and put my robes on. After i clean my teeth I race down the stairs and walk into the common room. "Hey James," Braxton says, handing me a letter, "an owl came for you earlier." I sit down and open the letter:

Dear James,

It's me Grace, I can't wait to see you again!

Me, Bella and Carson are on our way to school now, we're on the late train...again.

I'm just writing this, meaning it should reach you about the time we should get there.

I'll tell you everything later!

I put the letter down, "Grace, Bella and Carson are ok, they are just late...again, they're on the late train, they'll be here soon," I tell the guys getting up. We all get ready and hurry down to the Great Hall for breakfast. We sit down at Gryffindor table and meet up with the others. "James!," Laylani says, running up to the table, "Did you here! Grace, Bella and Carson are ok! They are coming on the late train!" she gasps sitting down next to me holding a piece of parchment. 

"You got an owl too," I reply as I start piling food onto my plate. She nods and turns to fill her own plate. We all start chatting as more students hurry in to eat their breakfast. Suddenly, Laylani stands and runs over to the entry of the hall. 

She hugs three people tightly and they all start talking. When they reach the table I nod in their direction. "James! Is that it! Don't you have anything to say!" one of the girls exclaim, sitting down, opposite me. I shrug, "Hi..." I say looking confused. She groans and face palms, "Hi...to you to then." Everyone starts laughing and soon we join in. We continue talking until we are finished breakfast. 

"What are your first classes guys?" Laylani asks grabing her bookbag from the ground. "We both and Carson have History of Magic, what about you?" Grace says helping Bella with her bag. "Oh I have too!" Laylani replies smiling. "Me and the guys have Herbology," I say standing up as well, "In fact we should probably get going, see you guys later." Me and the guys grab our stuff and leave the hall.

(Laylani) Me, Grace, Bella and Carson make our way to the History of Magic classroom and take our seats while we wait for Professor Binns. Grace sits next to me while Bella and Carson sit behind us. "So Gracie, how was the late train this year, I'm guessing lonely as per usual ?," I chuckle and get my quill and textbook out.

 "Ha. Ha. No actually, there were three other girls...new girls...I'd say transfers," Grace says getting her stationary out too. "Look that's one of them now, isn't it Gracie?" Bella says, pointing at the door. A blond girl runs in. She sits next to another blond girl and they start chatting. "Hey look, its the other girl too," she says again pointing at the girls. "Bels, don't point! It's rude! But yes I do believe it is," Grace says turning to the girls. 

Just at that moment, Professor Binns enters the classroom. "Miss Lovegood, Miss Fox, Please quiet down!" Binns says putting his things down on his desk at the front, "Oh that reminds me! Class we have two transfers from Ilvermorny this year! Miss Isadora Lovegood and Chloe Fox, stand up girls and tell up a bit about yourselves." 

The girls stand, looking embarrassed. The first one speaks up, "Umm, hi...I'm Chloe...Chloe Fox...and I'm from America...obviously and I er...am in Gryffindor." She nudges the other girl and she clears her throat. "Err...hi...I'm Isadora Lovegood...you might have heard of my mom...she used to go here...uhhh...I'm in Ravenclaw..." she says and both girls sit down. 

The class continues for another hour. I say bye to Grace, Bella and Carson and run after the new girls. "Hey! Wait up!" I catch up to the girls and they turn around to greet me. "Omg hi!" Chloe says waving, "I'm Chloe and this is Isadora!" 

"Haha I know, I'm Laylani!" I say outstretching my hand. They both shake it and smile. "Do you guys want to join me and my friends for lunch by the lake?" I ask walking along with them. "Yeah sure! That sounds great seeing as we don't really have any friends yet," Chloe says excitedly. We walk down to the lake and meet up with the others.

(Rogue) Me and Tiallan sit quietly by the lake, she is doing her homework while listening to music and I am pulling up the grass near my shoes. "Rogue? What did you get for question 6?" Tiallan asks me, bopping her head to the music. "Hmmm," I moan looking over at the parchment in her hands, "Hippogriff," I say looking back at the grass. "Thanks!" she exclaims scribbling down the answer. 

Suddenly, I hear a lot of noise down by the water...it's James and his crew. They are laughing and splashing, playfully in the water. "Uhh, they are so annoying!" Tiallan moans and packs up all her stuff. I nod and stand up. We walk along the waters edge until James and the other boys stop us. "Hey Stalky, Underclass, what you doing here!" Arthur says snickering. 

"Oh, you call me Stalky again, I dare you!" Tiallan heaves, stabbing his chest with her finger. I pull her away, "Lets just go," I mumble turning away. "No way! Rogue we shouldn't be treated like this, especially by them! Lets show them that we can take them on...easily," Tiallan says, grabbing me and forcing me to turn on my heels. 

I sigh...and I nod. The girls (and Carson) get up from the ground near where everything is happening. "Hey, hey, hey, what's going on!" Carson shouts walking through the middle of the group. "None of your business Gryffindork!" I say pushing him backward. "Hey! Don't push my brother!" Bella exclaims running up to me. "Ok this is getting way out of hand, you guys need to leave us alone!" Chloe says, appearing to the side. I smirk and walk over to her. "Take out your wand!" I whisper in her ear. "What!" she laughs standing backward. 

"I said, take out your wand, you want to get involved, well now your involved." She grabs her wand from her bag and points it at me. "Anteoculatia!" I shout and she dodges the spell. "Aqua Eructo!" she shouts sending a jet of water my way, it hits me but I quickly counter it.

 "Bombardo!" I shout back again. The ground bellow the Chloe erupts and she crashes to the ground. I smirk and turn away. "Expelliarmus!" she calls and my wand is flung from my hand. I turn with a disgusted look on my face. Her friends all start cheering and swarm around her. She smirks at me and flicks her hair as she turns to her friends. Tiallan grabs me and we walk back to school...defeated.

(Chloe) We all walk back to school, talking about the fight. "Chloe that was amazing!" Bella says, smiling. "You should join the duelling club, I reckon you could take Lani over here," James say putting his arm around Laylani. I giggle and we enter the castle. We all have a free period so we each go back to our common rooms. Me, Grace, Bella, Carson, James, Braxton and Wexlo enter the Gryffindor common room and sit by the fire. 

We change out of our robes as we have no more classes for the day. There is another girl sitting near the quidditch section, she is reading a book. "Hey...Grace isn't that the 3rd girl on the train?" Bella asks quietly. Grace looks over at the girl and nods. "Should we invite her over?" I ask nicely. The guys nod and I walk over to her. 

"Uhh, hi...I'm Chloe Fox...I was just wondering if you wanted to sit with me and my friends!" I say when I reach her. The girl looks over at the guys and she nods, smiling. We walk back over to the fire and she takes a seat on a comfy chair to the side. "Hi! What's your name?" Bella asks enthusiastically. "My name is Cloud Granger, but you can just call me Cloudy," the girl says with a soft smile. Everyone talks for a while and we get to know Cloudy a bit more. After a while it gets later and we head to our dormitories. There is a note on the girls dormitories door:

Dear Miss Granger, Miss Fox, Miss Black, Miss Prewett and Miss Roscutes,

This year we are changing the dormitories around for independence and adaptation.

You will be partnered with another in your group and share a room with them.

Miss Granger your partners are Miss Roscutes and Miss Prewett, Miss Fox your partner is Miss Black.

We look at each other, "Who's Miss Roscutes?" Bella asks. "Me!" We turn around and see Tiallan. "Your in Gryffindor?!" I ask shocked. "Yeah, is that a problem Blondie?!" she says back to me coldly. She reads the note on the door, "Oh great, I have to live with you losers for the rest of the year! I'm going to bed!" She pushes past us and goes into the dormitory. "Oh hell no, I'm not living with her, no way!" Bella exclaims walking backwards from the door. "Its ok Bels, you have Cloudy!" I say nicely. Cloud smiles thinly at Bella before returning to her book. Bella smiles and nods and we walk inside.

(Cloud) I walk into the room with Bella and we take the beds on the left side of Tiallan. We sit and talk for it seems like ages, she is pretty nice. "So are you into reading?" she asks me looking at my book that's next to be on the bed. "Uhhh, quidditch actually..." I reply looking at the book. "Oh! Are you going to try out for the team, I can put in a good word with Grace, she is the captain of the Gryffindor team!" she says excitedly. "Oh...no...I just like reading about it...not actually playing it..."I stutter, blushing. She giggles and smiles, "Well we'd be happy to give you a flying lesson!" I smile and nod. We continue talking until we get sleepy.

Meanwhile:

(Isadora) Me, Lyra and Jaidah walk into the Ravenclaw common room and put our stuff down. We take a seat on one of the comfy lounges in the reading section and grab some books on Arithmancy for the pop-quiz on Wednesday. We sit in silence and don't notice Rogue come in. She sees us and quickly runs up to the dormitories. I see her out of the corner of my eye. "Hey guys...we should get to bed its getting late!" I mumble standing up and putting my book back. The others nod and we head up to the dormitories. Rogue is standing at the door, she is reading a letter on the door:

Dear Miss Lilith, Miss Chang, Miss Lovegood, Miss Dunblat and Miss Reuben,

This year we are changing the dormitories around for independence and adaptation.

You will be partnered with another in your group and share a room with them.

Miss Lilith your partners are Miss Lovegood and Miss Chang, Miss Brink your partner is Miss Reuben.

I look at the other girls and we look at Rogue. "Just...don't!" she mumbles as she walks into the dormitories. We shrug and walk in after her. We stay awake, talking until it gets dark and too late.

Meanwhile:

(Laylani) Me, Arthur, Fred and Ace walk into the Slytherin common room, laughing about a joke I just told. We sit with Darcy and Evalen, near the study tables. Darcy looks up and smirks at me, "Hey Lani! Just in time, can you do my homework for me?! "What! No way, do it yourself!" I chuckle sitting next to her. "Ahhh, but its due tomorrow!" she moans, pressing her hands to her eyes. I laugh and she smirks at me again. "Anyways," she says, stuffing the piece of parchment in her bag, "How's James?" She looks at my with a sly smile and the whole common room goes quiet. I look around, everyone is waiting for me to answer. "Uhh ok?!" I say, looking confused. "Oh...great!" she says smiling. We continue talking for ages until eventually everyone goes to their dormitories. We walk up to the door and we stop, there is a note on the door:

Dear Miss Malfoy, Miss Longbottom, Miss Vicies, Miss Zabini and Miss Crabbe,

This year we are changing the dormitories around for independence and adaptation.

You will be partnered with another in your group and share a room with them.

Miss Malfoy your partners are Miss Longbottom and Miss Vicies, Miss Zabini your partner is Miss Crabbe.

"Well at least I'm not with that dumbass," Darcy snickers, signalling at Gaia. "Oh...Maddeline...did you hear something...I can hear a little buzzing noise but...oh...that's right...its Darcy's voice!" Gaia says coldly. Her and Maddeline start laughing and they push past us. "Oh...hun...you need to get that laugh checked out...you sound like my grandmothers Mandrake Plant!" I say laughing and high-fiving Darcy.

 Gaia turns to me and frowns. "Whatever!" she says before turning, flicking her hair in my face and entering the dormitories. "Oh she did not just do that!" I gasp, Darcy holds me back as I scratch at the door. We enter the dormitories and talk until it gets late and we go to sleep.
