(Bella) I awake with the chirping birds outside my window. They flap around the cherry blossom tree that is within reach, nibbling at the nectar seeds. I pull my robes on, grab my books and walk down with Cloud to the common room. James and Carson are quickly scribbling on a piece of parchment each, we walk up to them. "Guys, is that homework due today?" I say sitting down next to them. They nod, still writing down answers. 

"Here..." Cloud says, handing them a piece of parchment. "What's this?" James asks taking the parchment. "The answers...can't have you guys getting in trouble...we have the party tonight..."she mumbles. "Cloud! You are a lifesaver! Thanks!" Carson shouts, hugging her tightly. She stiffens and blushes...hard, "N..no...problem..."she stumbles, breaking the hug. Carson smiles warmly at her and goes back to his work. 

I notice Cloud's face, its a bright scarlet colour. I pull her to the side, "Ewww!" I squeal. Cloud looks at me strangely, "What?" "That's my brother, you are so crushing on him!" I say, my smile growing over my face. "What...no...I don't...what!" she stumbles, looking away, blushing even harder. I scoff and cock my head to the side, "Sure, sure!" We walk down to the Great Hall with the others and sit at Gryffindor table.

(Grace) "So everyone, what are you wearing tonight?" I ask, taking a piece of toast from my plate. "I don't know...we have to wear house colours right?" Chloe asks eating some bacon. "Yep!" Bella exclaims before finishing her food. Class goes by quickly and soon its time to get ready for the party. I look through my cupboard and find a short, red and gold dress with long sleeves. 

The colours are wisped around each other with a beautiful bow at the back. I pair it with red boots and tie my hair in a pony tail. I meet with the others in the common room. James is wearing a Gryffindor quidditch jumper with grey jeans, Carson is wearing a red vest with black jeans and a white button-up top, Bella is wearing a red blouse with black tights, Chloe is wearing an off-shoulder, red dress that reaches her ankles and Cloud is wearing a gold jumpsuit with a red belt. 

We admire each others outfits and then follow the map to the dungeons. We continue down the dark path until we enter a large room with two staircases, descending a balcony (what they are standing on as they enter). We all walk down the left staircase and reach the dance floor. There are other students here as well, though we can not see who they are as they are on the other side of the room. We all share a curious and walk over to the other students. As we near them, we can make out who they are...it's Lani, Evalen, and Isadora. 

Evalen is wearing a Slytherin quidditch t-shirt with black tights, Isadora is wearing an off-shoulder, blue, skin-tight mini dress and Lani is wearing a deep green, off-shoulder, twist dress. They turn to see us and Lani comes running up, "Oh my god guys!". She hugs James tightly. He hugs her back. "What are you doing here?" she asks looking around at us. "We got an invitation..." I reply looking around the vast room. Suddenly, the room begins to shake and we all fall to the ground. The fire in the middle of the room goes out and we are sent into complete darkness. "Lumos!" Isadora yells as her wand tip lights up.

 She turns and the light reveals a masked face standing next to her. "Ahhhhh!" she screams and the light goes out. The fire reignites and the group is standing in the middle of a ring of masked figures. We all take out our wands and cautiously point them at the mysterious gang. "Avada Kadavra!" one of the gang yells at Isadora. She dodges it, we all share a look and fire. We take on the gang successfully and escape the room.

(Laylani) We run up to Gryffindor tower, to the girls dorms and into Grace and Chloe's room. We change into some more comfortable clothes and sit down on the beds. James turns my head towards him and scans my face. "You alright babe?" I ask holding his hand. "Your bleeding..." he replies and wipes the blood from my forehead. 

I smile and snuggle up to him. "So...that was the most fun party I've ever been to..." Carson says, attempting to remove the awkward silence. "Shut up Carson! This is no laughing matter! We could have been killed! We don't even know who that was...or why they wanted to attack us!" Bella yells which comes as a shock to the group as she is normally not as aggressive. We sit in another awkward silence. James speaks up, "Well I think it's clear...this year is going to be exciting."
