Y/N point of view
Next Day
Everything went according to the plan, I met James at the same location early in the morning. I told my father, that I would be tending to the patients for the entire day, and he seemed convinced of what I have said.

James, then took me to this ship and it was fine vessel he had. As soon as I got onto his ship, all of James crew members turned their attention to me

I felt like a little girl, and I slightly hide behind James. But, all of the crew members greeted me with great kindness and bowed their heads in respect. Thanking me, for saving their Captain life I looked back at James and he scratched the back of his head and smiled.

James: "Here, we are so what do ya think lass?"                                                                                                      
My eyes widened with shock , as I admired the land called Nassau which James spoke so fondly off, while we were sailing.

I could looked at all of the shops, where people were shopping the sun rose higher as it beamed onto the entire land which gave it a shining look.

Y/N: "its beautiful James, it may be a pirate country but I admire its beauty already."                          
I spoke truthfully, and James came from behind and he took a deep breath and enjoyed the fresh breeze that came in front of us.

James:" See I told ya lass, you are gonna love the outside world." "Right now stay close to me, I must warn you that there can be rough people like drunk yards who will cause a young lass like you in trouble."

I gave him a worrying look, and James came by my side and held my hand in concern.                     
James: "fear not lass, I'm here the people all know who I am, so they will not dare lay a finger on you."

James assured me, and he touched my nose to cheer me up.                                                                          
Y/N: "thank you, James lets head to this tavern that you said, you like."

Y/N: "Oh my goodness, how on earth do you drink this James?"                                                                      
I complained to him, as I felt the burning sensation burn down my throat.

James was too busy, laughing at my reaction as he nearly fell off, the bench of the bar counter of the Old Avery Tavern.

James:"Lass, you just need to carry on drinking, then you'll see the change of the taste of the rum, it happened to me when I first tried it."                                                                                                           
James declared, as he swung the mug of rum,which caused some of the liquid to fall onto the counter.

Y/N: "well.. alright if it doesn't happen, then I'm going to stick to water."
James then gestured, the mug of rum in my hand, and then I took a huge sip.

This time, it didn't taste bad at all, and the next thing I know, is that I drink the whole thing in one go. I slammed the mug, down and James had a surprised look on his face.
Y/N: " you look surprised, James?"

I smirked and teased him, he scooted closer to me patted my back.
James: "I'm impressed."

We began to talk, to each other and we talked about our hobbies. Also, James  introduced me to Anne Bonny, who was the barmaid of the Tavern. She was nice woman, and she teased about me and James which made us both blush.

She never judged me by the colour of my skin, or if I was a native. She was happy, to sit down and talk with me.
Y/N: " anyway, I almost forget how are your stitches you didn't pull any off did you?"

I motioned to his side, James finished downing his third cup of rum. And he chuckled about, me treating him like he was a patient.
James: "why don't ya, have a look yourself nurse Y/N?"
He teased and he began to, untuck his shirt and he slowly lifted his shirt.

I noticed that he was taking his time, maybe to tease me or make a flirtatious remark like last time. I saw the stitches, and they all looked still in the correct place.
James: "ya see, no stitches were pulled, I wanted to make your life easier for you."

I placed my hand, onto the stitches which I had no idea why. Also, I laughed when James mocked the same words as mine.
Y/N: "well done James, making my job easier."
I remarked, but somehow I didn't realised that I still kept my hand, on James side.

James: "you know I can just roll up me shirt, so ya can keep your warm hand there, lass."
I soon removed my hand, from James side and he winked and I covered my face into my hands for being a fool.

Y/N: "sorry, James I did not know what came over me."
I muttered into my hands, I felt James hands unblock my vision, and he lifted my chin up and turned my face so I could get lost into those chocolate brown eyes.

And, that what exactly happened to me, both of your eyes were locked together and we did not avert our gaze. To the men and women talking and slurring their words, or the musicians who were playing music in the background.

James: "ah come on lass, no need to get embarrassed, I don't mind if you touch me or flirt with me."
"Since yesterday, I've see to come to enjoy your presence after all your my lifesaver."

He whispered to me, as I felt his hot breath that smelled of rum warmed my face like the heat of the sun. Our faces were a few inches away, and James still had his finger on my chin and began to lean forward.

My knees, began to shake I've never came this close to a white man especially a pirate in just under a day of getting to know him. For some reason, even I began to lean forward to James.

Anne: "James you know it started... Oh my bad I'll guess I'll come back later."                                          
As soon, as we both heard Anne voice in front of the counter. I immediately pulled away, from James grasp as he did the same.

James: "Jaysus, Anne!" "next time, make some noise that ya are here, what did ya want me for now."                                                                                                                                                                                           
James, said as he gritted his teeth in order to calm himself down.

Meanwhile, I fixed my clothes, and looked down at the wooden counter, I could have the heart to look at James, judging from his voice he was also embarrassed.

Anne: "Well, I came to tell ya, that it started to get dark and you haven't shown Y/N around Nassau yet."
"But, I think I'll leave you tow alone now, as you are both occupied at the moment."

I looked up to the sky, and I noticed that the sun was slowly lowering down. I didn't know that me and James spent the entire time in the tavern.

Y/N: "oh my, I didn't realise that was the time so soon, I believe that it is time for me to leave before my people find out how long I have been gone"                                                                                        

I said,  but my tone of voice was more sad than worried, because I wanted to still spend more time with James and see more of the island. James, stood up and coughed into his hand and sighed.

James: "I'm afraid there isn't enough time for the tour lass, I'm sorry Y/N I should drop you
He stood up from bench, and he dropped a few gold coins onto the counter for Anne. She smiled at me sadly, and she placed her hand on mine.

Anne: "no worries Y/N come tomorrow I would love to see you again I like having another woman company, isn't that right James?"

She glanced at James, and he smiled.                                                                                                                        

James: "Anne speaks the truth, fear not we will come here tomorrow and the first thing will be a tour of Nassau, then drinks."

He held his hand, out to me and I gladly accepted it and I looked back at Anne.                                     
Y/N: "It is fine with me, farewell Anne I'll see you tomorrow."

I smiled and she came around the counter, and she embraced into a warm hug. And we pulled away, and Anne held both of my hands, and I knew she was going to say a cheeky remark.
Anne: "That's good to hear from you lass, I can't wait to see what else I'll be walking into with the pair for ya."

She winked, at me and glanced at me and James. She then, waved and went back to the counter and began to place the fresh rum onto the tray to serve the men.

I could feel the colour of my cheeks, to change again. And James signed heavily, from this awkward moment and he took my hand and we began walking down the stairs of the tavern.
James: " Y/N just ignore Anne, she sometimes act like a school girl she always has a habit of doing that to me."

As the sun, began to lower even more and the sky was changing its colour form to darkness. I kept my eyes focused onto what's ahead of me.

Y/N: " knowing tomorrow Anne, will continue to tease me, but I guess I have to get used it."
James laughed, and he touched my back as we walked on the plank, that lead onto the ship.
James: " I'm afraid so, but for now my main priority is getting you home safe."

Few days later
For the past few days, I continued to meet up with James. Like he promised, he gave me the tour of Nassau, next couple of days James introduced me to a blonde haired man his name was Edward Kenway.

He was a close friend with James, and they way the two would bicker was funny to see. Along with Anne Bonny, she and I became more closer day by day. She still, carried on teasing me and how James was protective over me.

As for James, I think I'm I'm complete in love with him. And I think he feels the same as well, James would occasionally flirt with him all the time, like that time everyday I would change the stitches and check on his wounds he would wink or flirt with me.

There was one time, when me and James sat down on the tree. I remember I fell asleep and when I woke up, I ended up sleeping on James shoulder all the time and he told me that I looked peaceful didn't want to disturb me.

Every time, James would drop me off, he would kiss my hand or hug me and give me a kiss on the forehead. It is funny, that I allowed him to do this to me, is this what love and affection feels like?

I woke up early in the morning, and I began my usual routine as always. I brushed my hair and I left my curls to hang by my shoulders. I grabbed my basket, and I opened the door to meet up with James.

But, before I could step one feet outside my room, as I met by a tall figure which I bumped into it was my father.
Y/N: "Good morning father, I was just going to-

I was soon cut off with a slap, across my cheek and with heavy push I was dropped onto the floor with impact.

Father: "foolish girl, haven't I raised you better than this!"
My father slammed the door behind me, and he stomped towards as his eyes burned with fire.

Y/N: "father, what has come over you, please you are hurting me!"
I cried when my tears, began to form in my eyes. Instead my father grabbed the basket that was dropped on the floor.

And he threw it across the room, and his body became in a defensive like I was his enemy.
Father: "No you are the one who has hurt me Y/N!" "I saw everything you have been secretly meeting with a pirate a white man!"

I looked nervously at my father, how did he find out, about me and James. I sniffed, and I wiped the tears from my cheeks.
Y/N: "father I shall, not lie to you, yes I did meet up with James." "He wanted to thank me for his help, because one night he was injured and I treated his wounds, it's not what you think it is!"

I pleaded with my father, as I stood up and I grabbed his shoulders. Instead, my father shrugged my hands off his shoulder, and took a few steps back from me.

Father: "huh you even know his name, you think you can fool me, I noticed that you haven't been at the medical camp for the past couple days." "I followed you and saw you and him on a island town."
My father paced back and forth, with his hands behind his head and he gave me a disgusted look at me.

Y/N: "I just wanted to see the outside world father, it isn't bad as you think it is I met a lot of people."
I was cut off, when my father yelled into my face.
Father: "ENOUGH!!!"

He held his hand up, to silence me from speaking anymore.
Father: "I've heard enough from you know, from this day you are not allowed to leave the island or see that young boy again!"

My heart dropped, and I was speechless of what my father was saying. I heard heavy footsteps, come from behind my bedroom door. And my father frowned, when he looked at me again.

Father: " from now on, you will have guards that will patrol your room and will follow to your work. "Knowing you will try to escape to go, to your new... lover." "But that will stop, I've arranged you to get married to a man that will be suitable as your husband."

My father began to walk away from me, and I froze in my position due to what was going to happen to me. I shook my head, and I refused to let this happen.
Y/N: "NO you cannot do that to me, I do not love any man I refuse to marry him!"

I grasped his arm, and my father shrugged it off, and he pushed me back onto the cold concrete floor
Father: "it is the the only way, to stop you for meet that filthy pirate, my decision has been made."

My father gave me cold hard stare, and he slammed the door behind me. I heard muffled voices behind the door, which must be the guards and I heard the lock of the door.

I dropped onto my bed, and I cried into my pillow this was force and I had no freedom at all. I don't love any man from the tribe, I love... James I know it's too soon to think like that. I thought in my mind.

It was night time, and all I did for the day was cry, and eat the food that the guards have given me. All I thought about during the day, was James.

He must be wondering, why I did not come today as I always do. It looks like it's end of my journey of freedom with James.

As I was busy in my thoughts about me and James, I heard from a distance tribe members yelling sometime native in our language. There must have been a huge commotion going on, attack maybe.

Guard: "Ahhhh!"
I heard, the guard from my door yell, and I heard the sound of his body slump onto the ground.

I got up from my bed in fear, and I stood behind me bed, with a book ready to hit the person who might kill me. I saw, the shadow emerge underneath my door. Then, the door became unlocked  and when the door opened I dropped,y book onto my bed when I saw who it was.

James: "guess who came, to see you lass?"
Said James as he held both of his hand out to me, and smiled like oaf.

Y/N: "James, you came back for me." "I missed you so much!"
I practically ran to him and we both hugged each other. I beamed with happiness, as I told him while I hide my face into his warm chest. Which smelt, of the sea and salt.

James: "it's only  half a day love, you miss me already."
He Whispered into my neck and I felt his lips press onto my skin. Which made, me moan a little. I pulled away, from our embrace and I touched James on his shoulders.

Y/N: "James, you need to be careful, my father and the rest of the tribe know about us." "Also, my father is arranging me to be married soon, and I just can't take it anymore!"
I said as I looked nervous, at James reaction but instead he smiled and wrapped his arms around my waist.

He put his finger onto my lips, to calm me down from my outburst.
James: "Now now love, I knew, that you were in some trouble." "So Captain Kidd thought he could come to take Y/N away from here for good and begin a new life of freedom with me." "What ya say, lass?"

He said, his thin lips turned into a cheeky smirk, and I nodded my head without hesitation.
Y/N: " yes, of course I will, with you James."

I squealed with joy, and I quickly pressed my lips on his with a firm kiss. James stood stiff for a moment, surprised that I was the one to give the kiss instead of him.

He then, kissed me back with passion, and I pushed James on top of me on my bed. By pulling his jacket collar, James hands travelled to my legs and up to my hips.

Y/N: "hmm James."
I moaned loudly as our heads and lips moved in sync, while his other hand made its my to my cheek. James pulled away, and he smiled at me.

James: "love, as much as I would love to continue this, but we need to leave right now, then we can carry on where we left off."
He whispered, while he stroked my cheek and gave me a loving look.

Y/N: "I just need to take a few things, then we can be off."
He nodded, and pulled me up from my bed and I quickly grabbed my bag and placed a few items.

James: "good, now lets be off, I don't think Edward can hold them off for that long."
I grabbed his hand and we left, my room. I saw the guards, knocked out and James picked up a sleep dart that we use as well.

Y/N: "oh so that's how, you managed to knock out the guards with sleep darts."
I said looking impressed, while me and James ran deep at the back of the forest.

James: "yes, me and Edward did not intend to kill any of your people." "Now, you see that ship there?"
I looked at him in awe, but I had to focus if this escape was going to be successful.

Y/N: "yes I do, is that Edward ship?"
I asked, as I saw the huge ship being docked at the same place here James would dock his ship. He nodded, and he motioned to the crew, about my presence.

James: "correct, now Y/N I'm going to call Edward back and then we are all leaving, don't miss me to soon."
James pressed a kiss on my forehead, and I nodded and he directed me to the plank and the crew smiled and they sat me on a crate.

The next few minutes, I heard sounds of yelling, and the sound of arrows being released. I stood up from the crate, and leaned against the railing and saw James and Edward running.
Edward: "last time I checked, I was a not a dog Kidd, next time don't ya whistle at me!" "Oh hello, there Y/N."

Edward face lightened, when he saw me and bickering duo still continued arguing.
James: "grow up, Kenway!"
He growled, behind Edward back as he ran and began to set sail while commanding his crew.

I stood next to the railing, and I felt the weight remove from my shoulders. I then, soon felt James stand next to me.
James: "you happy now lass?"
I turned to meet his eyes, and had the same silly grin which was charming at the same time.

Y/N: "of course I am happy, I get to have the freedom that I wanted." "Also, I get to see you and the others more often now."
James looked at the sea and he smiled to himself. He then, turned my body around and he closed the space between us.

James: "that's good to hear, now Y/N there something I need to ask you to make me feel good, and probably will make you happy as well."

Y/N: "by all means, tell me?"
He stroked my cheek, again and I shivered by his touch. And I felt his hot breath, on my lips.
James: "will you be my lass, forever?"

As soon as James spoke those words, I had a huge smile forming from my lips. Which made James laugh, at my reaction.
Y/N: "Yes, I will, I will be your lover."

James then gave me a, chaste kiss and I kissed him back and I wrapped my arms around his neck and I pecked his lips numerous times.
Edward: "you know some of us, don't what to see that!"

We pulled from our make out, and I saw the look of Edward being annoyed. I laughed, as I still kept my arms wrapped around James neck.
James: "Piss off Edward, if ya don't want to see that you'd better sail us to Nassau more quicker."

James growled, and he turned his attention to me.
James: "also, Y/N how would you like to become a doctor in my crew." "So, you can still do the job that you love."
He suggested to me, and I quite pleased what he offered me.
Y/N: "thank you James, I would love that job."

and we kissed again, under the moonlight and we stood by Edward side to cheer him up, and joked around with him.
