3rd Person POV

"Wow..." Nandini exclaimed as she looked around."Yeh jagah kitni sundar hai na Manik?"

The Malhotras had just arrived at the villa they were renting. Everyone else went inside to prepare for the Khanna's arrival while Nandini & Manik were still at the entrance admiring the surrounding.

"Hmm...sundar toh hai." Manik slid his arms around Nandini's waist pulling her towards him. "Ek kaam karte hai...Laksh aur Ankita ki shaadi ke baad, hum dono yahi rukh jaate hai."

"Kya? Kyun?" Nandini asked.

"Second honeymoon ke liye of course..." Manik replied.

"Maaanniik." Nandini blushed and pushed him away. "Tum bhi na...one track mind hai tumhara."

"Arre par Im serious..." 

"Manik! Nandu! Andar aa jao!" Nyonika called.

"Chalo...Mom bula rahi hai." Nandini started walking.

"But think about it. Kitna romantic jagah hai na yeh?" Manik continued as he caught up to her. "Mom & Dad were also saying ke woh dono Dada Dadi banna chahte hai...so..."

"Aur mujhe Par Dadu!" Devendra chimed in. Nandini went red in embarassment when she realized her family members heard Manik while Manik was just laughing.

"Woh main...kamra dekh ke aati hoon." Nandini said glaring at Manik as she quickly walked past him.

"Bhabhi...you and bhaiyya can have this room. Acha view hai nahi?" Laksh opened up one of the rooms on the first floor.

"Haan...bohot acha hai." Nandini smiled and walked into the room with her bags not noticing when Laksh turned to Manik and winked.

"Anand...yeh Khanna's kahan tak pauche? Aapne call ki?" Smita asked her husband.

"Haan, airport pe land toh ho gaye they, abhi kisi bhi vaqt pauchte hi honge."

"Yeh lijiye....aap sab ki coffee." Nandini walked in with a tray of coffee for everyone.

"Haaye mere rabba! Nanhi?" A voice called out from the doorway. Everyone turned to see  a lady in her late 40s. She had curly, long brown hair and wore big dangly earrings.

"Lavanya Bua...." Nandini looked at the woman infront of her emotionally. She was Lavanya Khanna, younger sister of Vijay & Ravi.

"Veerji ne bataya tha tere baare mein...lekin mujhe yakeen hi nahi hua." Lavanya hugged Nandini. "Kaha chali gayi thi tu? Haan?"

"Bua main..."

"Kya Bua? Tere Papa ko tu jaanti hai na, gusse wale hai thode lekin agar unse koi galati hui thi toh Bua ke paas aana chahiye tha na? Main tere Papa aur bhaiyyon ko ache se dant deti."

"Im sorry Bua.." Nandini hugged her Bua tearfully.

"Bas bas..no rona dhona." Lavanya wiped Nandini's tears away as the rest of the Khannas walked in.

"Im so sorry, hume thodi deri ho gayi na?" Kavita apologized.

"Nahi nahi...koi baat nahi." Nyonika smiled.

"Vaise....hume koi introduce nahi karaienge kya?" Lavanya asked with her hands on her waist.

"Arre haan, yeh meri choti behen hai, Lavanya....aur Lavanya, yeh hai Nanhi ki sasuralwale aur Choti ki hone wale sasural.

"Namaste." The Malhotra's greeted Lavanya.

"Namaste.." Lavanya greeted back.

"Aaye...hum aapko aapke kamre dikhate hai." Manik said. The Khannas followed Manik while Nandini went to help Nyonika. "Uncle...Aunty, aap dono iss kamre mein rahenge...bilkul mere aur Nandini ke kamre ke samne. That way, aapko mauka mil sakta hai Nandini se baat karne ke liye."

"How sweeeeettt..." Lavanya pinched Manik's cheeks, making him flinch a bit as her long acylic nails accidentally hurt him. "Veerji, kitna acha jamai mila hai na hume? Kitna pyara hai."

"Woh toh hai.." Ravi agreed, "Thank you so much beta. Hum par bharosa karne ki tumhare paas koi vajah nahi hai phir bhi hume aur Nanhi ko milane ke liye tum itna sab kar rahe ho."

"Uncle main jo bhi kar raha hoon....sirf Nandini ki liye kar raha hoon. Usne aaj tak hum sab ke liye bohot kuch kiya...humesha usne sab ki khushiyon ke baare mein socha. Itna toh main apni biwi ko jaanti hoon ke woh aap sab se bohot pyar karti hai, bas woh manegi nahi....after all she is hurt. Par Ill try my best to reunite you." Manik replied. "Anyways...aaye, main baaki ke kamre dikhata hoon."

Slowly he showed everyone to their rooms and they all had rooms nearby.

"Aur yeh raha aapka kamra Buaji." Manik bowed infront of Lavanya as he showed her a room.

"Jeete raho vats..." Lavanya held her palm towards Manik's head playfully.

"Acha...ab aap aram kijiye, shaam ko mehendi ceremony hai." Manik laughed.

"Thik hai.."

"Manik..." Nandini asked as he entered their room. 

"Hmm?"

"Tumne Ma Papa...mera matlab Mr & Mrs Khanna ko humare samne wala kamra kyun diya?"

"Oh...sorry Jaanu main kya karta, the other rooms were already taken aur kuch kamron mein extra saman rakha hai." Manik gave a cute frown. "Koi choice nahi tha."

"Acha? Thik hai phir..." Nandini replied.

"Vaise...you seem close to your Bua." Manik quickly changed the subject.

"Main toh apni puri family se close thi...par unme se sirf Lavanya Bua aur Choti hi thi jinki koi galati nahi thi. Choti toh coma mein thi aur Bua uss vaqt shehar mein hi nahi thi."

"Oh...well she seems really nice." Manik said.

"She is...bohot friendly hai. Im sure sab unko bohot pasand karenge." Nandini said then she turned around to show Manik what she was wearing. "Acha tell me, how do I look?"

"Oof." Manik dramatically started fanning himself. "Too hot yaar..."

"Shut up Manik." Nandini laughed when she noticed that Manik was also ready. "Excuse me? Tum kahan jaane ke liye tayyar ho rahe ho?"

"Mehendi." Manik replied. 

"Ha, ya right aur tumhe entry kaun dega? Mehendi is a girls only event....ladke allowed nahi hai."

"Arre par...how is that fair?" Manik whined. 

"Everything is fair in love and war hubby dear." Nandini laughed as Manik pouted and left to join the ladies.

As she entered the hall which was a bit of a distance from the villa and where everything was set up for the mehendi ceremony, she saw her sister sitting with the mehendi lady. 

"Nanhi..." Kavita tried to talk to her daughter but Nandini ignored her and went straight towards Ankita.

"Di!" Ankita smiled up at Nandini. "Yeh sab aapka idea tha na? Sirf aapko paata tha ke mujhe yahan shaadi karni thi."

"Khush?" Nandini asked.

"Bohot!" Ankita hugged her making sure to keep her mehendi safe. "Vaise di...you are looking very hot huh?"

"Tu bhi?" 

"Matlab?"

"Matlab Manik ne bhi abhi yahi bola...ke Im looking hot." Nandini replied.

"Haan toh galat thodi na kaha Manik ne." Alia said as she, Navya & Mukti came up to them.

"Alia...Navu...tum log kab pauche?" Nandini hugged them.

"Just now....honestly hume laaga we would miss the mehendi." Navya said.

"Di woh-" Ankita started to say then realized Alia & Navya were there, "Sorry I meant..."

"Its ok." Alia smiled at Ankita. "Manik ne sab kuch bata diya hume....we know."

"Nandini.." Preeti Khanna came up to Nandini. "Mujhse bhi baat nahi karegi kya?"

"Preeti..." Nandini smiled and hugged her. 

"I missed you so much!" 

"I missed you too....tune Rishabh se shaadi kar li? Seriously?" Nandini asked. "Tu toh humesha usse gadha bulati thi na?"

"Haan gadha toh woh abhi bhi hai...par mera gadha hai you know..." Preeti laughed.

At that moment music started playing and everyone turned to the entrance where Nisha stood.

Nandini playfully pushes Manik away and starts dancing.

As Laksh starts flirting with Ankita, Manik excuses himself. Soon everyone is dancing and enjoying themselves, while dancing Nandini comes under the chandelier which starts to sway a bit too much. Because of the loud music nobody notices a figure in a hoodie and black gloves sawing away at the chain that holds the chandelier in place.
