BOOK ONE SUMMARY

Mia Santiago is the younger sister of Amy Santiago. Since they were the only girls in the family, they stuck together throughout their lives. Now, both of them are detectives at the 99th precinct in Brooklyn.

One day, while investigating strange activity in the basement of a department store, Mia runs into trouble and is saved by the Doctor, who gives her an oppertunity to travel with him through time and space.

Together, the two of them encounter ghosts from the past, aliens from the future, and witness the day the Earth died in a big ball of fire. Soon, Mia's sister Amy and their fellow detective Jake Peralta join them aboard the TARDIS, alongside Capt. Jack Harkness.

Could Mia use this opportunity to help her sister find love? And could the same happen for her?

INFORMATION

I. The story begins during Series 1 of "New Who"/Season 1 of Brooklyn Nine Nine and continues throughout the entire show and through Brooklyn Nine Nine's run..

II. While the main ship will be Doctor x Mia (Kastermia), a primary ship will be Peraltiago.

III. Mia will replace Rose in this story.

IV. Amy and Jake join up after the events of "Aliens of London/World War III"

V. The Doctor and Mia finally become a couple during Series 3.

VI. Mia's reaction to the Doctor's regeneration is... complex to say the least. She's relieved that at least he's alive and well, she's both grateful and guilty that he sacrificed himself for her, but she still misses Nine.

VII. Mia becomes a Time Lady as a result of the Meta-Crisis (Donna keeps her memories).

VIII. The Doctor and Mia get married during the David Tennant Specials.

IX. The Doctor and Mia have twins, a boy and a girl, during the events of Series 5. Their son is taken at Demon's Run with Melody Pond and is raised to kill Mia. He marries River at the end of Series 6.

X. Maybe while Eleven is trying to solve the mystery of the Impossible Girl, Mia is dealing with an Impossible Boy...

XI. After losing Amy and Rory, the Doctor and Mia run off with their daughter to raise her as normally as possible. When she turns twenty-three, they return to traveling. Their daughter is paired with "the Impossible Boy" while Clara is paired with Adrian (they begin dating in Series 9)

XII. Holt is present with the Doctor and Mia during "The End of Time."

XIII. Mia is the one who becomes Time Lady Victorious (but you can turn that into a three-episode storyline). Time Lady Victorious occasionally pops up now and then afterward, though Mia tries to keep her under control.

XIV. Peraltiago are sort of their permanent companions.

XV. Please find a way to include Jenny (like Jenny is working with Torchwood and she finds them around "The Stolen Earth/Journey's End").
