Time skip 24 hours

Connor Stolls POV

Percy was MIA, and Annabeth was wigging out big time. I kinda felt sorry for the poor guy, I mean she was going to kill him. Big time. Anyway as I was saying, Annabeth was freaking out, so I volunteered Travis and me to go find him. I figured I'd hold it over Percy and bug him about it

So, that's how I found myself dropping from Festus onto the Avengers building. Me and Travis hit the roof hard, I looked over and saw Travis on the ground groaning, then he yelled, "I swear Connor if you set me up for one more quest I I'll personally DJ your funeral, And have Apollo recite a haiku.

Harsh.

I got to my feet, brushed myself off and started walking toward the nearest skylight. I pulled out my slingshot and crash, all the glass shattered.

Percy's POV

We were doing just fine until Connor flew through the roof with his shoes. You know, the cursed ones that were Luke's. Long story. So me and Max were doing fine we had slept at this guy Tony's house, building, complex thing. Tony, Me and Max were sitting on the couch, while Tony questioned us.

I of course coudn't say anything. Apparently neither could Max, the only thing she said was, "You wouldn't believe me if I told you". All I said to that was, "Welcome to my life". Then of course Connor broke threw the window.

With flying shoes.

Surprisingly Tony was the only one who freaked out. All Max did was jump up with her fists in the air. I had never seen anyone move so fast, and that was saying a lot considering I had seen Clarisse  fight with the blessing of Ares.

That's when Tris crashed through the window on Mrs.O'Leary.
