Burn
"Kadence, you need to get up!" Nina said, shaking me awake.
"Right, I forgot to tell you this, but I'm not going to school." I rolled over and glared at her.
Nina shot me an alarmed look, like she couldn't believe I had just said that. "Why not?"
"Because I have a plan to get back into jail," I said, breaking out into a grin, as I remembered my great idea from the night before.
"What are you going to do?" Nina asked, taking a nervous step back, like she thought that I was going to kill her. I smirked at her fear.
I explained my plan to her, and with each word I said, the look of horror grew on her face. "That is a terrible idea."
"I think it's fantastic! It's going to be so much fun!!" I laughed.
"That is about the sickest thing I've ever heard," Nina muttered.
I cackled evilly. Nina went white as a ghost.
"Shaaaanneeeee!!" She screeched, as she ran out of the room. I laughed some more and crawled out of bed.
Then Nina came back in, with Shane in tow. "Are you really going to do that?" Shan asked.
"Yeah. Why not?" I asked.
"Because that's illegal!" Nina said.
"That's the point! I'm trying to get arrested!" I said, like it was obvious.
"You aren't going to hurt us, right?" Shane asked, gripping Nina's hand.
"Maybe, maybe not, depends if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time," I said, raising one eyebrow and smirking.
Nina screamed, and ran out of the room. Shane was quick to follow.
I laughed my head off. Scaring people brought me so much joy.
I packed up all the things I had, which wasn't much at all, and put them into a little bag I found in Nina's closet.
Then, I opened the window. There was a tree pretty close to my window. I leapt from my window sill, to the branch.
I landed on it on my feet, crouched down. I carefully crawled across the branch, and down the tree. I probably looked pretty stupid, but whatever, it worked.
I ran away from that horrid house. It was way worse than jail. I hated Diana, and I wasn't a huge fan of the rest of them either. Nina and Shane were okay, but they could be annoying with all of their couple crap.
It was time to put my plan into action. First, I went to the nearby auto body shop.
The was a fat old man that worked there. He was the only one present, and he had more tattoos than teeth. He sat in a chair, behind a raggedy desk.
I walked into the shop. "Hello," I greeted. The man gave me a somewhat grunt in response. Super friendly, I know.
There was a wrench laying on the ground, next to a beat up, junky, old car. I knelt down and picked it up.
Then, sneaky as a spy, I crept over to the man, from behind. As I got closer, I could smell his putrid scent.
I silently, fake gagged. Then I went back into serious mode. I took one step closer and raised the wrench in my right hand.
Then I proceeded to bash the man over the head with it. On the first strike, he yelled out in surprise, but on the second, he was slouched on his knees. The third hit knocked him out.
His head was bleeding a little, and he was face first on the dirty floor. I grinned at the sight and stepped over him.
I went into the back room behind him. In there, was some of his personal things and bottles of gasoline. Perfect, just what I was looking for.
I picked one up, it wasn't really heavy, but I still didn't want to have to lug it all the way there.
Lucky for me, the passed out guy had a car. All I had to do was find the keys, and I was home free.
I searched around his desk for a while, before finding them in one of his drawers. I smiled. "Jackpot."
I went down to the car, with my gasoline in tow. I unlocked the car and climbed in.
I had never driven a car before, but I guess that there has to be a first time for everything. I stuck the key in a couple holes, until I found the right place to put it in. I turned it, starting the car.
I drove a few laps around the small parking lot, going slowly at first, but gaining speed with confidence.
I smirked at all the power that I had while behind the wheel. I love power.
Then I sped away from the shop, leaving the unconscious man alone inside, bleeding. To top it off, I ran over someone's trash barrel on the way.
I drove down to the town's most popular restaurant. No, I wasn't here for food. I had other plans.
I parked my car in the back of the restaurant. I got out, and snuck over to the window of the kitchen. I secretively peeked in.
There was five people inside, all moving around busily. I could take them.
I slid open the window. They all had their backs to me, so at first they didn't notice.
Then I climbed through the small window. I dropped down on to the floor, noiselessly.
I picked up a pan, and stood next to the nearest person. Then, I whammed him over the head with it. He dropped to the ground unconscious.
Then someone looked up. And screamed.
"Hi, how are you? My name is Kadence," I said, acting like I belonged there.
"Hi I'm Jes-," Someone started, but I cut her off, by slamming her with the frying pan too.
Another chorus of screams. I picked the rest of the people off one by one. They were just too easy.
Then I set to work. First, I took all the batteries out of the fire extinguishers. Then I ran back out to my car and got the bottle of gasoline.
I poured the gasoline all across the kitchen floor. Then I lit the whole place on fire. I made sure it spread to the regular restaurant part, where everyone was eating, before fleeing.
I stood outside, next to my car, as I watched the building burn down. People fled from the building, panicking. I laughed at the chaos, enjoying my work.
Police cars and fire trucks rushed over. They already knew it wasn't an accident.
The fireman ran into the burning building, trying to save the people trapped inside, which was about half the people.
Fifteen minutes later, the fireman has gotten twenty people out, leaving ten dead people in. Four were the people I left unconscious. They had burned first.
One of the unconscious people had gotten out. That was because they were faking unconsciousness.
"Her!" A tall woman screamed, pointing a bony finger at me. "She did it, officer." Spit flew from her mouth, as she talked.
Three policemen rushed me. They grabbed me and handcuffed me, quick as a flash.
"You better have a good lawyer, deary," One of the officers said. I just smiled.
"Don't need one."
