chapter two
(This takes place during the time of Captain America: Civil War)
I sat on my bed, holding the cloth on my side that seeped with blood. The stinging was just another reminder that I had to work harder and trust people less. I knew I'd have to move after this. I didn't doubt that Klaw had someone follow me to this place. I had to lose his trail. I had to continue to train so if I can fight Klaw, I could definitely kill T'Challa, the new Black Panther.
24 hours earlier
"Where the hell are we?" Faith asks in the back of the van.
"Sweetheart, we're not going to Wakanda anytime soon. But you can spend some time with us." Klaw says from the front, urging her to get out of the van.
Faith reluctantly steps out, her eyes trained on the bland building ahead of them. "So am I your prisoner now?" She asks, gritting her teeth.
"No, of course not! But you're gonna have to stay with us for a little. That's alright isn't it dear?"
"Yeah, sure." Faith glanced around the area, her eyes darted for ways of escape. Walking in, Faith's eyes had to digest to the darkness in the building. She knew Klaw wouldn't let her go, and neither would any of his "henchmen". Their grips were tight on her upper arm and she wanted to rip her arm from their grasps, but that would show she was ready to escape.
As she was taken to a room she observed the surroundings. She could run out through the door and make her way to the other exit she noticed on the second floor to the left. The small room she was in was just as dark as the rest of the building, it looked like people used to work there, but now it was for Klaw and his crimes. The room had a window, it looked like it used to be an office for the boss. Now it was her prison. 'Great'. Faith thought sarcastically to herself.
"Stay here, dear. I've got something to take care of." Klaw tells her with a conniving smile.
'Not like I have a choice.' Faith thinks while one of the men block the door and another sits in there with her. She walks around the room, all the while knowing the man in the room with her kept his eyes on her the entire time.
"So, I'm not getting out of here am I?" She asks the man with a smirk. She turns to him and he makes no move like a soldier from Britain. She chuckled and walked towards him. "Klaw better not keep me from getting what I want. I'm going to have to get out of here. I hear that the king is out of Wakanda. So that's my cue." She walks away toward the door and the man grabs her arm without a word, but she grabs his and holds it tighter, rips it from hers and twists his arm behind his back.
"You bitch." He grunts.
"Oh, now he speaks." She bends down and whispers in his ear, "too late." The window crashes as the man is now across the threshold that was her prison. She jumped over the window sill as her hands and feet felt the crunch of glass. The glass didn't bother her as much as men about to shoot at her does.
Faith rolled her eyes at the men and already started making her way to the edge of the building, zagging through bullets, until one glazed her. She groans in pain but doesn't stop her way to the end of the building. She climbs up boxes and the railings climbing up to the second level and was once again faced with a man with a gun.
"Hi there." She says and moves to the side as he tries to shoot her. Hose moves forward and grabs his gun, hitting it into his face and dropping him to the floor. She continues forward, holding her side and opens the door.
A man was about to follow her when Klaw stops him. "No, let her go. I have a feeling she will be important. Follow her."

My bags were packed, all that I owned in a few bags. It didn't take long and it was dark now. Klaw must have a man outside watching me, waiting for me to leave through the front door like an idiot. He underestimated me, wanted me to escape to toy with me, I wouldn't let that happen.
I grabbed the two bags, putting one over my shoulder and the other in my hand. The fire escape was my only option, I would have to go through the alleys in the back of the building. I opened my window and looked out seeing no one was in sight. Taking this chance, I climbed out and down the escape to get to the ground and didn't look back until I could find a public space Klaw couldn't claim and in that space be claimed as well. I wouldn't let a man, especially Klaw be able to stop me from revenge. I may not be able to heal but I know that watching T'Chaka's son die will heal whatever pain I have had throughout my life.
