"OH MY GOD!!" I screamed. It was already 10 o clock which meant i slept through my very loud alarm, which surprised myself. By loud, i mean very loud. I quickly got off bed and went to the bathroom for a quick shower and headed outside to pick something to wear for the day.

I picked up a velvet t shirt and beige sweatpants and brushed out my hair to braids. After changing, skincare and makeup, i reached downstairs to see a mug of coffee on the kitchen counter along with a note. I started to read;

'Dear luni, we're very sorry we couldn't tell you this earlier, but unfortunately due to our work, We had to leave for Australia very urgently. We won't be back for 5 months or so, but we will miss you, and Take care of yourself. As you see your dad and i are working very hard to Change into the new mansion which i mentioned earlier, which is why we had to take double shifts to try move in as fast as possible. If you need to buy anything, just use the money in the envelope beside this note. You can invite the waltons over if you'd like.
With lots of love; mom and dad.'

I looked beside the note to see the Envelope and opened it up to see $1000 inside it. I knew my parents hated to waste it, especially through these days, so i would only use it if i needed to.
I smiled to myself and took a sip of the coffee, not exactly a coffee; a latte, and i knew dad made it. It tasted so good.
I began to scroll through random tiktoks, until i heard the doorbell ring.

I placed the mug on the counter and looked through the peephole to see Jayla standing out there. I unlocked it and opened the door, greeted by a warm hug.

"Hi jay jay!" I Chuckled. "Hay luni"

"Where are your parents?" She asked stepping inside and scanning inside the house. "They left for a 6 month office thingie." I replied sighing.

"Oh. Wanna come over then? School free right?" Jayla asked. I nodded and grabbed some water from the fridge before stepping outside along withs jay.

"So."

"I was wondering. Maybe we could go for a party tonight? One of my friends moved in to a new house and their celebrating a house warming party."

Jayla said once we were on our way to their house.

"Oh cool, I'd like that. What time?"

"About 8. Wanna will pick you up." Jayla smiled at me. "Yay okay" i Smiled back.
We got inside the house only to be meeted by a very moody jaden.

"Uhh, why is moon here?" Jaden said clearly annoyed by my presence.

"Because she is my friend." Jayla rolled her eyes. She dragged me up to her room, and we searched in her closet for an outfit to wear for the party this night.

"What about this one?" Jayla asked picking up a black dress with butterflies and clear sleeves.

"Thats actually reallyy pretty." I gushed.

"Perfect. So you can wear it." She said throwing the dress at me. I took it to the bathroom to try it on, and when i got outside, Jayla's jaw nearly dropped.

"That looks so freaking good on you!"
Jayla screamed. I chuckled slightly.

"Really?" I laughed. "Really" Jay smiled.

"So, I'm going to be moving over to the mansion next door here."

I revealed. Causing jayla to smile so hard, and she squealed in for the fattest hug ever.

"Okay..*coughs* okay, " i choked still laughing.

I actually really appreciated my parents work. No matter what they always do.

And iam very excited to move in.

There will be 2 floors, and my bedroom is on the top along with my parents. My mother told me my room would be at the corner since I could have Some privacy other than being next to my parents room, for example, if i was studying, they might as well be watching a movie or something. Which made sense. *laughs*

And one thing which iam so lucky about is that There will be total 2 more rooms left.

And.. one will be my very own Second room.

And third is the guest room.

"Hey luni, I'm back" jayla said entering the room back With two tubs of ice cream, pulling me out of my pessimistic thoughts..

"Huh?" I mumbled. "I told you i would be back with ice cream, so here iam!"
Jayla repeated. "Oh okay" i replied.

"So what were you in so deeply thinking of?" She asked with a smirk.

"Oh, that, I'm just excited to move to my new house, you know. It's all going to be a very.. cool, but weird feeling" i chuckled. Jayla nodded in response. "Oh, got a text from mom. Would you mind?" I asked pulling out my phone.

Mom:
Hey Honey. Look, i have some happy news for you.
Me:
Oh it better be good. Lol, go on >3
Mom:
So we will be back in 1 month, but we are going to move in asap. So i need your help in first packing your things, and maybe honestly everything you can do. I know its alot to take in, otherwise its we live homeless. 😅
Me:
Oh my god mom! Stop it, i can do it! Don't be so desperate, I'd love to help oit, and besides, we would never get homeless, geez.
Mom reaction; ♡

I never saw someone so desperate to leave a place like this. This apartment is nice, but its getting old for its been 12 years, and its a lot to refresh the furniture every, single, month.

I shut my phone off, and leave after saying goodbye, and go back to my house ready for a .. Fresh start.
