For Pokémon Positivity Week! ezance-- this is for you!
The prompt for today was 'Flowers'.

The sea breeze wound its way through the meadow, whipping the hair of the two girls standing among the flowers. "Alola is nice this time of year, isn't it?" one asked the other.

The black-haired girl next to her replied, "It's even nicer with you here."

The other girl blushed, swiping a strand of blonde hair away from her face. "M-moon," she stammered. "Do you really mean that?"

Moon laughed. "Wow, Lillie, I didn't think that would work."

Lillie blushed a deeper pink. "I know... I'm so easy to fluster." She buried her head in her hands, seemingly embarrassed about what she'd say next. "B-but.... did you really mean that?"

Moon responded with an easy smile. "Of course!" 

Lillie tentatively smiled back. "You're the best, Moon."

The two girls stood in companionable silence, both watching the setting sun, both thinking. 

On a whim, Moon leaned down and plucked a flower from the grass. It was beautiful, with five perfect white petals. It reminded her of the girl next to her, a girl with a voice like a summer's day and a gaze like the moon's light. 

"Lillie, I've got something to show you," Moon said, holding the flower out. Lillie turned around, the setting sun illuminating her. She had never looked so radiant. 

"Yeah?"

Moon reached out and tucked the flower into her girlfriend's hair. "It reminded me of you," she said simply. 

"I love you," Lillie whispered, reaching out to kiss Moon. 

"I know."
