Chapter Twenty- Four.

Jade's Letter From Her Mother {part two}. After her mother's death.

It was time to give Jade the letter that Warda was given by Maya. She knew that it would be painful for her daughter after her death.

Jade still needed her mother even though she has Layla.

"Asalam Aleikum, Jade.."

"Waleikum Salaam, what are you doing here? Is something wrong?", Jade asks her sister who just smiled at her.

"Nothing is wrong, I just wanted to give you this letter, your mother gave me the day before she died", she tells her sister. "She knew that you would need a few words from her", she added giving Jade the letter.

"Thank you, I needed...."

"I understand. If you need anything just let me know but for now, go and read your letter. I will take over for you until you are done", Maya tells her sister.

Jade took the opportunity to go inside the office to read the letter. She couldn't hate them for what they did to her.

She knew that they had their reasons to do that. She opened the letter to read it.

My dear Jade,

I know that you will need my words, my advice, and here they are my darling.

I know you will miss me and maybe cry every day but I dont want you to do that. I would want you to live your life exactly the way I would.

Happy.

Be happy, my dear daughter no matter what life brings you always say alhamdullilah.

I know that you would like to have had more time with me but for me, it was the best time that I ever needed in my life.

You and your brother are my life.

My world.

Always remember that you will always have me inside your heart and prayers.

Sometimes things don't go the way we want them to. Because it is Allah who is our writer and it is His will whatever happens to us.

Be happy my child.

Don't mourn for me, live for me.

I love you so much, Jade. You have become the woman that I always dreamt that you would be.

The woman that stood up for herself and the one who would never let anyone put her down.

Always take care of yourself and your brother. He will need your help and your mamma and dad's help too.

I know that I don't even need to ask them for this as they will take care of him as their child.

This is it, my daughter.

Tell your husband to always make you happy and to also make you smile.

Forgive me my daughter for whatever misfortunes I have made in the past to you.

I love you, Jade.

Take care of yourself.

Love

Your mother.

Warda.

Jade smiled when she finished reading the letter. She finally found what she was looking for.

The love.

The care.

And a family that she would have with Jayden.

Thank you, Mother. I love you too.

Jade was happy to know that her mother supported her in her dreams even though she wasn't physically there.

She knew that her mother prayed for her to fulfill her dreams.

"Hey, are you alright?", Jayden asks his wife as he walked into the office.

"Yes, just another letter for mom, she gave it to Maya before she died", Jade tells him. "I am thankful to have found her and for you too. Thank you", she added smiling.

Jayden knew how much Warda's death had affected Jade.

She thought that Warda would be there by her side in everything just like Layla and Jason are.

Her family including Warda and Maher who Jason welcomed into the family without any second thoughts.

"You are most welcome. But now, you need to eat....."

Jade gave him a lopsided smile knowing that he was telling her because she had missed breakfast.

"Okay, sure as long as we eat together and let Maya go back to her job before he calls you asking where she is".

They both started laughing knowing who they were talking about.

Rocco.

The overprotective husband of Maya.

Jade walked out and told her sister that she can go.

"Are you sure?", she asked her.

"Yes, I am sure. If I will ever need you, I will call you immediately," Jade tells her sister. "Now go before your husband calls you", she added smiling at her.

Maya knew that her sister was right about that.

"Fine, I will go but promise me whenever you need me, call me".

Jade agreed to give her a call and then turned to the workers and told them that they can have their lunch as the cafe/bakery wasn't filled with customers.

She then walked back to the office to find Jayden taking a nap on the sofa bed. She just shook her head and decided to join him.

Jade looked at her husband and smiled knowing that he is the best husband that she could ever have.

Alhamdullilah, for everything. The love, care, and protection that I have from my family. My mamma and dad plus my brothers and my amazing sister.

"I love you", she says to Jayden who smiled.

"I love you too".

Sometimes when we need to move on, we need to close the chapter that we were on to let go of the past and whatever is holding us there. Letting go is very hard and painful for us but we need to do it. To grow and form our happiness.
