Who Is Getting Engaged? {Part One}

Jade had to ask Jayden if the restaurant could cater for the engagement of her cousin Ayla but someone already beat her to it.

And that someone is Hamza who is Ayla's twin brother.

"So can you do it?" Hamza asks Jayden as he is the owner and also the main chef of the restaurant.

Jayden didn't even ask who the engagement party was for instead he agreed to what Hamza told him.

"Okay, we will do it. Just tell me what time to do what everything to be set up and what type of food, desserts and everything that's needed to be there", Jayden explains to him.

"Okay, here is the list to everything that will be needed and also the food", Hamza tells him giving him the list that his sister had prepared for him.

After discussing everything that was needed for the party, Jayden looked at Jade only to find her looking at them without blinking.

Does he know her or is she the one he is marrying? What am I even saying? She can be with anyone she wants even if is this guy.

Hamza noticed how Jayden looked at her cousin with somewhat jealousy in his eyes.

Love is a strange feeling that I might not be able to have. But in shaa Allah my two favorite cousins will have it with the help of Aunt Layla, Dad, and everyone who wants them to be happy.

"Okay, are we done?", Jayden asks Hamza.

"Yes, we are. Thank you again. You can send the bill to the address below on the list that I have given you", Hamza explains to him. "Okay I will be going now", he added leaving and heading towards Jade who was reading a recipe book.

"Hey there. I gave your love the list of the things that are going to be needed for the engagement...."

"Not you too. First of all, Jayden is just my boss and secondly that's great but did you tell him who the bride and groom are or did you just omit that part out?", Jade asks her cousin who was grinning knowing that she was right about him omitting Ayla's and Yunus's names as the bride and groom.

"He just have to know that it's an engagement and not a wedding....."

"Fine. I don't know who is worse. You or our parents in getting Rocco and Maya together so that my sister could stop....."

"Being stubborn. Maya is someone who would do anything for the people she loves but nothing for herself. And I want to help her realize that", Hamza interrupts her.

"That's true...."

As they continue talking Hamza couldn't help but notice the way Jayden was looking at them with jealousy in his eyes.

Jayden doesn't know that Hamza is Jade and Maya's cousin. All he can tell from where he is is that he was flirting with her.

"I have to get back to work. I will come by later so that we can talk more", Jade tells Hamza who nodded and then hugs her and left but then turned to look at Jayden who had a scowl on his face for him hugging Jade.

Check and mate. Sorry, cousin but what I am doing is for your good. The both of you.

"Okay, you can let go now, bye", Jade tells him waving at him.

Hamza walked out and quickly took out his phone and called his parents who were eagerly waiting for his calls to know about what happened.

"It worked, dad. On both sides...."

"What do you mean both sides?", his mother asks him.

Hamza then explained to her what he meant and she immediately understood what her son and husband were talking about.

"Okay but if this explode, I didn't have any part of this...."

"But mum..."

"But habibty..."

Both the father and son tell her but she interrupted them again.

"No buts or ifs. I said what I said. Now, what else happened?", she asks them.

Naeem explained the plan further while they were both listening to him.

"Okay, that's a good plan but don't let them get hurt. Always remember that", she advised them. "They are family and if they get hurt, Layla and Jason will have both of your heads and I will sit down and just watch", she added.

They knew that she was right and they also need to be careful about what they do.

"Okay, Allah knows best and we have to do what's best for the both of them", Naeem tells them.

Hamza then hangs up and then walks to the car to get to school and stirring trouble with Rocco and his jealousy.

Sorry not sorry, Maya, and you too Rocco. It's time for you to confess your feelings for each so that I can be free from this scheme that my parents want me to be in.

Meanwhile, Jayden called Rocco to tell him about Hamza and what he was doing at the restaurant. Rocco was beyond angry at what he just found out.

"This can't be happening. I wont let it happen...."

"Calm down, Rocco. And think before you act on anything", Jayden tries to calm him down but knowing how Rocco is that's impossible.

"I love her, Jayden. And I can't let her be with someone else who isn't me. I need her...."

"I know but you also need to earn her forgiveness and maybe be her friend...."

"Jayden, I need her but not as my friend but as my wife. And I will have her no matter what", Rocco determinedly tells Jayden.

"Okay, but remember Maya needs to let go of the past in order for you to be with her and she to be with you again".

"Thank you, I will get her to talk to me", Rocco says to him.

They hang up just in time to see Hamza with Maya who was smiling at whatever he was saying to her.

He walked toward them and needed to talk to Maya.

"Maya can I please talk to you?", Rocco politely asks hoping she won't say no.

"Yeah, sure", she tells him and then turned to face Hamza, "I will see you later", she tells him.

Rocco then led her to his office so that no one would disturb them.

Thankfully, it was lunch time and the students were on their lunch break and it was a good time for them to talk.

"What do you want to talk about....?"

She couldn't even finish what she was saying when Rocco smashed his lips onto hers not letting her say anything else.

Maya tried to push him away but he held her in his arms not letting her go.

But she strongly pushed him away from him.

"Stop, Rocco...."

"Why? Is it because of him?...."

"Of who? Hamza? Don't tell me you are jealous of him...."

"Yes, I am. I am jealous of him hugging you like you are his. I am jealous of him always being with you. Yes, I am jealous....."
