Surprise Engagement Party For Rocco And Maya Planned By Jade And Jayden {part one}.

Two months later.

It has been two months since Jade decided to give Jayden a chance to start their relationship slow by slow.

They didn't want to rush into anything that might affect their future and what they had planned especially when Jade started interviewing employees for their new bakery and cafe.

"You are hired but you need to make something that means something to you", she tells the person in front of her.

"Seriously, Jade?....."

Jade couldn't help but laugh at Jayden who was in front of her.

"Yes, you remembered that's what you said to me. Now I am telling you the same thing. Or you are scared...."

"No, I am not scared. I will do but you will have to leave the kitchen for me to work privately", Jayden tells her.

"Okay, should I give you the time or?", she says teasing him.

"Leave, please. So that I can work and give you the result of your test", he tells her while pushing her out of the kitchen.

"Fine, I am leaving".

After Jade leaves the kitchen Jayden went straight to work to get the perfect dessert for her.

He knew exactly what to make and how to decorate it. Jayden felt the box in his pocket as he continued taking the ingredients that he needed for the dessert.

If this doesn't work then I don't know what else to do. No, I can't ask Rocco and Maya what to do. Because I know that they might make fun of me especially when we are currently planning their secret engagement party that they didn't want to have.

Jayden worked on two desserts, one for his best friend's engagement and the other one for Jade.

He knew how much Rocco and Maya loved chocolates especially if they were made by none other than Jade.

Meanwhile, Jade was finished interviewing the other applicants that had applied for the jobs. She looked at the time and notice that Jayden has been in the kitchen for almost an hour and a half.

What could he be doing in there? I hope he doesn't do too many things at once. Thank you, Mum, and you too mamma for giving me the advice that I needed to listen to about Jayden.

"That was the last applicant for the day. Time to get some coffee and see what Jayden is up to that is if he lets me in the kitchen", Jade tells herself while heading to the coffeemaker to get some coffee.

After that, she started walking toward the kitchen only to find Jayden at the door blocking her.

"Aren't you done yet? It is almost time for the decorators to arrive. They will need a few hours to decorate this place and you will need to oversee that Rocco makes it on time while I get Maya here", Jade tells him while trying to get a glimpse of the desserts but Jayden was too tall for her.

"I know and I am almost done so would you take a seat at the front and wait for me? And I know what needs to be done. So excuse me, I will have to get back to work now", Jayden tells her, and then he closed the door.

"Why can't I just stay with you? It's just Rocco and Maya's surprise dessert, right? And I promise that I won't say anything to them", Jade tells him through the door.

He knew that if he didn't let her in, Jade would be suspicious about what he was working on. Fortunately, there were a few minor details that were needed in Jade's surprise dessert.

As soon as Jayden was done, he placed it in the fridge and then opened the door to let Jade inside the kitchen.

"This looks amazing. Ma shaa Allah. They will love it. Especially the chocolate lava that you just added at the top", Jade tells him smiling. "I just want to say thank you for doing this......"

"You don't need to thank me. Rocco is my brother and Maya is just like my sister. And I am more than happy to do this for them. Besides, if it wasn't for Rocco I don't know where I will be today. All of this is because of him. He believed in me and made me his brother. I will be happy knowing that I did something for him even if it's just something this small", Jayden says to her.

Jade knew how Rocco had saved Jayden many times when they were in the orphanage. And after that.

"I guess we are both lucky to have them in our lives. I don't know where I would be without Maya, mamma, and dad. She took me in and called me her sister even if she was told that I might have to go away. Maya was adamant about having me in their family. I remembered when I arrived home, she shared her toys and her room with me for the first few nights. I am grateful to have found them, Jayden. Alhamdullilah", Jade explains to him with tears falling down her face.

Jayden raised his hand to wipe the tears that had fallen on her cheeks.

Don't let anyone interrupt us.

Jayden leaned in while his hand was still on her face. He looked at her eyes and then moved down to her lips.

"Can I....."

"Excuse me, is anyone in here?", someone asks from outside the kitchen making them pull apart.

"It is the decorators. I have to show them what to do....",

Jade quickly walked out making Jayden chuckle at her nervousness.

There are so many questions that are on his mind that Jade has the answers to.

Only time will tell.

After finishing the dessert, Jayden walked out of the kitchen to find that the decorators were almost done. But as soon as he saw Jade talking to one of the guys, jealousy started showing in his actions.

He walked towards them and put his hand around Jade making her turn around.

"Sean, this is Jayden my....."

"Fiancee. I am her fiancee", Jayden added making Jade look at him surprised.

What is he doing? Never mind. Now I understand what Maya meant by Jayden will get jealous to see me talking to some other guy.

"Okay, nice to meet you. As I was saying, we are almost done with what you have asked for. We just need your approval with a certain part of the venue that you specifically said you would check", Sean says to Jade.

But she had no idea what he was talking about. Before she could even answer when Jayden said that he was the one who requested that from them.

"I will come with you. To show you what I needed to be done. Jade, stay here and check if anything that's needs to be changed", Jayden says.

"My wife is the one who will be in charge of that part. You need to talk to her about the changes that you will need", Sean tells him while pointing at the woman who was coming towards them. "This is my wife, Camilla", he added introducing them to her.

"Hey, nice to meet you. So what can I do for you?", she asks Jayden.

Jayden directed her to follow him to where he wanted to do what he had planned especially when he has both of her parent's permission and what he needs now is her answer.

"I want you to decorate this area using lights and flowers specifically lilies. And make sure that at the center there will be space for a surprise that I have. I just hope she will like this..."

"Don't worry. I will do my best to make sure your dream comes to life. And don't worry she will accept it. The love you have for her is something that people wish to have in their lives. Be positive that she will accept what you have planned for her", Camilla tells him.

Jayden thanked her and left her to do what he wanted. But he specifically told her not to let Jade inside because he didn't want to ruin what he had planned for her.
