Jack was pretty disappointed that they got rid of the skateboard shop across from his job at Tattoo Central. He use to get ideas from all the skateboard designs but now it was gone and replaced with boxes. He came back to the mall in June and it was gone.

Jack was really hoping for a Taco Bell to go there. He could just walk over and go back to work. Unfortunately that dream wasn't meant to come true when he noticed shelves were being brought in. He found out later that month it was going to be an art store. Even better than a Taco Bell! He could just get all his sketch books there. In July was when he saw the owner. He recognize that long blonde hair anywhere. Rapunzel Corona. Who was the most popular girl in Jack’s old high school and the love of his life. She looked exactly the same. Long gold hair pulled back in a high ponytail. Eyes the color emeralds. A smile that could cheer anyone up. She was like the sun bright and always shining.

Jack had changed quite a bit. He grew four inches the summer of graduation.(ironic I know.) he went from being 5ft 6 to 6ft. He wanted to try dying his hair blue but he had to bleach his brown locks first so the blue would show up. But he liked how it was bleached and decided to keep it white. He even got his eyebrow pierced. North the owner of the shop saw him drawing in the mall one day and asked him to apply. Now he works at a tattoo shop while attending Guardian Rise University and is covered in artwork.

That was three years ago. He thought Rapunzel would've gone to some prestigious art school in New York or something. Not working at the mall in Burgess.

He had asked her to homecoming once their senior year but she was already going with Flynn Rider. She was very nice about it though. She was nice about everything. Even when Jack was being pushed around by jerks she always was kind to him. He had never heard a mean thing come out of her mouth.

When Corona's Art supplies opened he was hesitant to go over there. He waited a few weeks to see if she would come here, but he didn't think Rapunzel Corona was into getting tattoos

Finally he needed more tracing paper and finally walked his way to Rapunzel's store. Maybe he wouldn't see her. But of course he did she was working at the counter. He picked up his tracing paper and shuffled slowly to the counter.

The little blonde looked up and her eyes went wide but then a smile slowly appeared on her face.

"Jack? Is that you Jack Overland."

She remembered him.

"Yeah it is."

"Do you remember me?"

Of course he remembered her how could he forget her sitting there in his art class.

"Yes Rapunzel you're hard to forget." He said.

"Wow you look different....it's a good different I'm just so used to you being 2 inches taller than me now I think I'm up to your shoulder. And look at your hair it's white! I like it, reminds me of snow."

He chuckled "yeah my coworkers call me Jack Frost."

"I can see why. So how have you been?"

"I've been good. I'm at Guardian Rise University and I work across from you at Tattoo Central." He saidZ

"Oh that's great! We'll be neighbors." She said excitedly.

"How have you been?"

"I've been good I finally got to open my shop although my parents helped me out, as you can see the nice new equipment and I'm going to Lantern Art Acdemy on a scholarship."

"Ah so you are going to a prestigious art school."

"I wouldn't call it prestigious......"

He gave her a look.

"Okay it's a little prestigious but I like it." She said.

"That's great Rapunzel." He said.

"Hey Jack get your ass over here you have an appointment!" His coworker Aster shouted,

"I better go."

"It was nice seeing you Jack. Maybe we can catch up some more soon?"

"Does tomorrow at lunch sound doable?" He asked.

"Hmmm I think I'm free." She said.

"Good see you tomorrow." He replied and just like that Rapunzel Corona had walked into his life once again.

They began spending almost every lunch break with each other. They would go to a different restaurant everyday in the mall until they ran out and had to start all over again. She told him about how her projects were going and how great it was having her own store. He would tell her sketch ideas and funny tattoo stories.

“So why did you get this tattoo?” She asked pointing to the his right shoulder with a night scene full of fireworks of blue orange and green

“Well one of my favorite family traditions was every New Year’s we would go to this clearing and my dad would buy all these fireworks and we would light them off and watch. New Year’s Eve is my favorite holiday because you get to see fireworks but it still cold outside. That’s why I got theses fireworks on my shoulder.”

“You didn’t do it yourself did you?”

“Oh god no, I’m not that talented to tattoo myself. My friend Thiana did it for me. She is really good at tattooing scenes. She does full back pieces most of the time so a shoulder was child’s play for her.”

“Hmmm and what do you like to tattoo?”

“I pretty much do anything except portraits. I’m terrible at realism,”

“Do you think you can give me a tattoo?” She asked.

Jack almost choked on his drink. Innocent Rapunzel wanting a tattoo he couldn’t believe it.

“Uh…..sure I mean ….I have to warn you it can be pretty painful.” He said

“Well it won’t be my first Jack I know what it feels like.” She said.

His eyes went a little wide trying not to think where the tattoo was placed on her glowing tan skin. “You never told me you had a tattoo.”

“There are a lot of things you don’t know about me.” She smiled.

“May I ask what it is?” He asked

“It’s a flower. It’s copied from a picture in a story my mother used to read to me.” She said she lifted a little the hem of her shirt and there was the flower on the inside of her hip.

“That looks really cool. I like it.” Jack said trying hard not to blush.

“So do you think you can give me a tattoo?” She asked.

“Yeah of course what do you want?” He asked.

“I would like a snowflake.”

He smiled, he had shown her his sketchbooks and most of them were filled with snowflakes and winter scenery he wondered if she wanted one like the one he had on the inside of his wrist.

“I can do that. Do you have any drawings or references for me to copy.”

“I think you know which one I want.” She said looking down at his wrist. “Come on I want to get this done before my lunch break is over.

“Right now?” He asked

“Is that going to be a problem.”

“No problem.”

Rapunzel guided him back to the tattoo shop. She sat down while Jack drew out the snowflake. It was going to be placed on the back of her shoulder blade.

When Jack was finally finished she was in awe. “It’s perfect.” She said.

He placed it on her shoulder and took off the tracing paper. The outline was now on her skin. Jack prepared his station with the correct colors: blue and white.

“Now tell me if this is too much we can take breaks.” He said

“Jack I’m not a baby. Go ahead.” She said.

He began tattooing and she was surprisingly calm. She laid there and started to hum to keep her mind off the pain. He asked her once in a while if she was okay and she always replied yes. The buzzing of the machine distracted her enough.

“Alright you are done.” He said.

“Oh Jack it’s wonderful!” She said looking in the mirror. The blue and white snowflake looked like crystal. It was a beautiful replica of Jack’s. He added swirls and tiny little snowflakes to accent it. It was simply stunning.

“I’m glad you like it.” He said.

“Hey Jack. Do you want to hang out tomorrow?” She asked.

“Don’t we always?” He asked.

“No I mean besides the mall. I……I really like you and I was wondering if you would like to…….”

“Yes. Whatever it is yes.” He said

“How about we go to a real restaurant?” She laughed

“I would like that.” He said pulling her in.

Her arms rested on his shoulders. “You know I really wanted to go to homecoming with you.” She said.

“I know, but Rider got to you first.”

“But that doesn’t matter because you get to have me now and hopefully in the future.” She smiled.

He leaned in and kissed her gaining whistles from Aster and Sandy. Rapunzel stood on her toes to reach him and pulled on his snow like hair. Two months later Jack got a sun tattoo right on his chest where his heart was.
