Au where Rapunzel is a guardian and Jack's a mortal.

My name is Rapunzel Corona. How do I know that? The sun told me so. No really it was the only thing she did tell me. The rest I had to figure out on my own, but that's not the story I'm going to tell you. Today I'm going to tell you the story of a mortal named Jack. I met Jack about a hundred years after I became......lets just say different. Anyway he was a Shepard'a son. Like everyone else he couldn't see me. He loved winter. Of course I was technically the opposite of winter but I still was able to impress him the best I could like making flowers pop out of snow or random sun beams coming through clouds. I pleaded to the sun to tell me what I'm suppose to do but she never answered me. Finally one day I got Jack to see me. He was in his room twirling his Shepard's stick around. To have some fun I sprinkled pollen and his stick made it twirl in the wind. He chuckled for a second but my pollen caused him to sneeze.

I said "Bless you."

He jumped in surprised and looked right at me.

"Are you the one whose been making flowers appear in winter?" He asked.

I was stunned, he was talking to me. "I I you can see me?"

He nodded his head slowly.

I jumped with joy causing the ground to shake a bit. I had forgotten my jumps can cause earthquakes. I stopped immediately and apologized.

Jack had fallen out of his bed and got up and stared at me. "Are you Mother Nature? You look kinda young to be a mother." He said.

I could see how he got the nature part. I was dressed in a purple dressed with vines and leaves all over the place. They had been there since I woke up a hundred years ago, my hair was in its braid with different flowers I had found on my travels.

I laughed. "I am no mother. And I'm a lot older than you think, although Mother Nature has a nice ring to it. And to answer your question yes I am the one who has been making flowers and random sunbeams." I replied

"You made me think I was going crazy!" He laughed "How do you do it?"

"I don't know I just touch the ground with my finger and it happens I can grow anything anywhere watch!"

I looked around for something that would look impressive. I decided his Shepard's staff would do. I touched the tip of the hooked end and out sprouted a little blue flower.

"You're magic!" He said amazed.

"Yeah it's pretty cool." I said. "Especially when you can show it to someone else."

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"You're the first mortal who can see me." I replied shyly.

"The first like ever?"

I nodded.

"Well I guess we better change that." He replied. He turned and called for his sister Emma.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Getting you another believer." He replied.

He got his sister to believe in me. It took a few minutes but once there were flowers all over Jack's room Emma believed in me too. Then her friends did and his friends. A few months later Jack and Emma went ice skating and Jack fell into the ice while saving Emma. I begged the sun to save him and after years of silence she told me that the moon has special plans for him.

I couldn't find him for a while. He had forgotten who he was as a mortal making him hard to track although I heard many stories about him through the other guardians, he had ice powers figures. Finally he was chosen just as I was and we met each other all over again. He didn't know me. When he finally got his memories back during the battle with Pitch, his face lit up when he saw me. That was the day I got my first believer back.
