AU: So I got a request to continue this drabble so here it is!

He didn't see Rapunzel for almost a week since their first meeting. He was intrigued with her. She was sweet but no sweet wasn't the right word. She was genuine, That's it, she was just so genuine. Jack had even tried being late again to class just for the luck of running into her again(figuratively not literally.

Finally Jack decided to look for her at lunch. Usually he would go off campus but he stayed on school grounds to look for Rapunzel. He walked into the cafeteria and realized that he had never actually been on his school's cafeteria before today. It was stuffy and pretty boring as he always thought it would be, he looked around for the blonde and spotted her instantly. She was sitting with Merida Dunbroch.

'An odd friendship choice.' He thought.

He was alright with Merida but from what he heard she was pretty tough. A lot of people were kind of scared of her except for her soccer teammates and her three "body guards" as Jack referred to Liam Macguffin, Derek MacIntosh, and Ronny Dingwall.

They were all there sitting with Merida and Rapunzel. He couldn't believe what he was doing but he found himself walking to the table and sitting down.

"Frost? What brings you in the cafeteria for lunch?" Liam asked.

"I was just going to say hi to my good friend Rapunzel here and I thought I might join you."

"You okay with this Merida?" Derek asked Merida.

"The boy can sit wherever he wants I don't control the whole cafeteria Derek." She said.

"Hi Jack," Rapunzel said.

"Hi," he smiled at her.

"Wow a man of many words," Merida commented, "so how do you know Rapunzel?" Merida asked.

"Oh we ran into each other he r first day here. She patched me up and I walked her to the office," Jack said.

"Ah makes sense. Rapunzel here is our new team medic," Merida said. She rolled up her sleeve to expose a big bandage wrapped around her elbow. "I got a pretty bad turf burn at last week's game before I knew it she was coming out with a first aid kit."

"I was just there watching the game and I thought they might need help."

"Yeah coach isn't really good with blood." Merida smirked.

"That's really cool. You have a talent for healing don't you?" Jack asked.

Rapunzel lifted up her hands and shrugged "guilty."

"That's pretty cool. You should be the medic for the guys team too." Jack said.

"Hey don't try to steal our medic you already take the morning practices." Merida said.

"I wasn't stealing I was suggesting. And hey your coach picked to have the afternoon practices do you think I like getting up 8 am on a Saturday?" Jack replied.

"It's better than the 2pm heat." Merida replied.

*Bell rings*

"Great time for Ms. Elinor's history class," Merida grimaced "See ya Rapubzel." Merida left with her "bodyguards" behind her.

"Hey so I was wondering if you aren't busy later you could come to my soccer game today?" Jack asked.

"Sure! That sounds like fun. I'll make sure to bring my first aid kit just in case." She said.

"Thanks I appreciate that," he laughed.

"Is that okay if I bring Merida?" She asked.

"Yeah sure. That's fine she comes to most the games anyway." He replied.

"Awesome I'll see you after school," she said.

"See you," he said.

Jack entered the locker room to get changed for his game. He saw his best friend Hiccup at his locker.

"Hey where were you at lunch?" Hiccup asked him.

"I was inviting Rapunzel to today's game," he smiled.

"Ooh the new girl. Wow you finally found her again," Hiccup said.

"You won't believe who I found her with." Jack replied putting on his shin guards.

"Who?"

"Your favorite Merida Dunbroch," Jack said.

Hiccup grinned a bit. It wasn't a secret that he had been pounding for the redheads attention since freshman year but her "bodyguards" made it pretty hard to have a conversation with. Except for their math class together.

"Really?! I did not see that coming." Hiccup said.

"Yeah neither did I but she seems to like her a lot she's coming to the game today with her." Jack said.

"Well I better play good then." Hiccup said.

"Will you girls stop gossiping and get out on the field for warmups. Their teammate Dagur said.

"We better get out there don't want Dagur the Deranged after us." Jack joked.

They went on the field for warmups. They were playing Spielberg High today. Good team, it would be a decent match today.

Jack looked around the stadium and spotted Rapunzel and Merida. Oddly enough the "bodyguards" weren't with them,

"Hey looks like your girl is free today." Jack told Hiccup.

Hiccup replied with a smack at Jack's arm.

Jack waved to the girls and started with warmups,

The soccer game was finally starting. Jack lined up for kick off while Hiccup went back for goal. Jack had the ball at his feet. The whistle blew and Jack passed it to his teammate Sandy this starting the game.

It was almost half-time when Spielberg High got a penalty kick for a foul made by Dagur who had gotten a red card for slide tackling for the third time since the game started.

It was Johnny Pedd who was taking the kick. He was a pretty good mid-fielder and had a strong kick. Jack waited and hoped for the love of god that Hiccup would deflect this kick.

Johnny went up to the ball and concentrated. The whistle blew and Johnny kicked the ball aiming for the right upper corner of the goal.

Hiccup lurched and jumped higher than Jack thought was humanly possible.

Hiccups glove touched the ball with his fingertips which was just enough for the ball to go over the goal post missing the net.

Jack screamed with the roar of the crowd at Hiccup's deflection. He ran down half the field to give his friend a congratulations.

The ball was now a corner kick so the team got set up for the next play. The ball was kicked and their defender Snotlout stopped the ball and kicked it up the field.

Jack sprinted he knew he was going to have to make a run to catch up with the ball. He ran as fast as he could and finally the ball was in his possession. He saw two of the team's opposing defenders coming at him and saw Sandy was open. He passed it to Sandy and Sandy dribbled it up and passed it back to him but it the pass was a little far ahead.

It was between Jack and the goalie now, Jack and the goalie both sprinted to the ball. Jack kicked the ball and Slammed right into the goalie because both of them had not been able to stop in time. The ball went into the net causing an uproar from the crowd.

Jack and the other team's goalie laid on the ground as Jack held his ankle. "You okay?" Jack asked the goalie.

"I've been better I think I hurt my ankle though." The goalie replied.

"Same here." Jack replied.

All of a sudden both teams were crowded around the two.jack heard a familiar voice. It was Rapunzel.

"Jack are you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah just hurt my ankle a bit." Jack said.

"Are you okay?" Rapunzel asked the goalie.

"Besides missing the goal and twisting my ankle, yeah I'm fine thanks." He replied.

Rapunzel put her attention back to Jack. "We better get you off the field."

Rapunzel helped him up and walked him off the field the whole team clapped as their forward got off the field.

"Here have some ice." She said.

"We really need to stop meeting like this. I always end up injuring myself." He laughed taking the ice.

"Sorry maybe I'm just bad luck," she said.

"Nah I made the goal didn't I?" He smiled.

Merida was now approaching the bench. "Hey Frost nice goal. Though try not to injure yourself next time. I know you want Rapunzel as your medic but don't try this hard."

"Thanks Merida." He said.

The whistle blew for half time and the field went to the bench to see how their injured teammate.

"You okay!" Hiccup asked his best friend.

"Yeah I'm fine." Jack said.

"Hey Haddock." Merida said.

Hiccup turned around and smiled as Merida came up to him,

"Nice block on goal out there. That was pretty impressive." She said.

"Thank you. You're pretty impressive yourself." He commented

"Quit flirting Haddock, get some water so you don't tire out in this heat." Coach North said.

"Thanks coach." Hiccup said sarcastically.

"No problem boy." North replied.

"I better go. But hey Jack if you're feeling up to it do you guys want to go out for burgers afterwards?" Hiccup asked grabbing his water.

"Sure that sounds great." Merida said.

"Yeah that sounds good. I can play in the second half its just a twist I'll be fine." Jack said.
"We better go back up there stay safe okay?" Rapunzel told him.

"Yes mam," Jack replied.

Rapunzel gave him a quick peck on the cheek. "Good luck."

Jack grinned from ear to ear. "I've got all the luck I need now."
