Distance {Jack}
Being in a relationship is so amazing. The I love you's, cuddles, hugs, and kisses. But, what if you could only have one of those things? That's how it is for Ari. You see, she's in a long-distance relationship with a very loud, adorable Irishman. The couple lives 3,359 mi away from each other, but they make the best of it.
Just like any internet friendship or relationship, they've desperately wanted to meet each other since they'd met. However, with Jack's schedule, he's rarely able to travel and Ari can't afford it. Although, somehow, with the help of family she's able to travel to go to PAX East.
Ari never thought she'd be getting ready in a hotel room with three of her closest friends to go to PAX. It'd been a dream of hers before she even met Jack.
"You almost ready, Ari?" Her best friend, Raven asks.
"Yep, are Belle and Maya?"
"Yes,'' The girls chorused. A few minutes later, the group arrives at the Seattle Convention Center Suites. Walking in, Ari can't help but gawk at everything. They walk around the floor for a bit before Ari's dragged to a panel. The four sit towards the middle waiting for whoever to come out onstage.
Once the panel starts, Ari recognizes the first person to come out on stage as Markiplier. Ari glances over at her friends in shock that they'd brought her to a Markiplier and friends panel. Bob, Wade, and Jack come out as well. At that point, Ari didn't care that she had a giant stupid grin on her face. Just being able to see her boyfriend, not through a screen is amazing.
She quickly realizes that after the panel, he'll probably be busy with stuff and she more than likely won't get to see him. That thought dampens her smile, but just a little bit. Nevertheless, she keeps watching the panel, watching the guys have fun.
Ari watches them walk off stage and sighs. Raven, who's right next to Ari, looks over at her. She notices how happy her best friend looks and can't help but smile too.
''Thanks for that guys,'' Ari tells her friends once they're back on the main floor. All of her friends envelope her in a hug. After releasing the hug, they walk around fora bit mote before heading to get dinner.
''Guys, it feels like we've been walking forever. Where are we going?'' Ari questions.
''You'll see,'' Maya tells her.
''It isn't much farther,'' Belle informs her as Raven texts not paying them much attention. Ari rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest. Walking for a few more minutes, the girls come to a large fountain and stop.
Not many people are around. Maybe one or two other groups of people. Absentmindedly, Ari looks around before looking at the one group. For some reason, they seemed familiar, but she couldn't figure out why. That is until one of them looked up from their phone and over in this general direction. Then everything seemed to slow down.
The man, who she'd not recognized as Markiplier, nudged the man to his right causing him to turn around. As he did, Ari froze. She'd recognize those bright blue eyes and green hair anywhere. Jack began walking towards her and Ari took off towards him. Meeting in the middle, Ari jumped onto Jack wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck.
The Irishman hugged her back as his tears landed on her shoulder and hers bled into his chest. It was evident that they were in shock, but also extremely happy. All of their friends stood to the side smiling. Especially Mark and Raven since they'd orchestrated the whole thing.
Finally pulling away from each other, they wipe their eyes chuckling softly. They took a moment to look at each other over and find the right words to say.
''God you're even more beautiful in person,'' Seán breaks the silence.
''Thank you and you're eyes are brighter than they are on screen.''
''It's so good to finally meet you. I can't believe you're here.''
''Trust me, I can't either.'' Ari gently tucks a strand of hair behind her ear.
''I love you, Ariana.''
''I love you too Seán."
