Prince Jack (Part 3)
You woke up, excited for today. Today was the day you would get to see the green haired prince again. You were so excited that you jumped out of bed and decided to cook for a change. You scrambled some of the eggs you collected yesterday. You quickly ate them and put on your boots to get your farm work done for the day.
You walked back in to the house hours later, sweat covering your forehead. Your mother and brother were both up and were eating the eggs you made, along with a little lunch your mother prepared.
"You cooked?" Your mother questioned as you took your boots off. You just nodded confidently and went into your room. You decided to take a shower because you were not going to show up to the ball smelling like chicken crap.
After your shower, it was time for you to get ready. You put on your dress and did a little twirl in it. You were so happy. You fetched your shoes and put them on. You then put on the necklace your mother gave to you. She came into the room and walked up to you and put her hands on your shoulders.
"You look beautiful," she said and smiled at you.
"Thanks mother," you said as you turned to face her.
"Have fun tonight! You will have to tell me all about it when you get home. Now, hurry up! Your carriage awaits!"
You hurrried out the door and hugged your mother and brother goodbye. You hopped into the carriage and Mr. Peterson drove off. You waved at your family until they were out of sight.

You looked out the window and watched in fascination as trees and fields turned into fancy buildings. Bright lights lit up the slowly darkening sky. Soon, the carriage stopped and the door was opened for you. You stepped out and gasped. The castle was so big! You carefully walked up the steps and were greeted by two men in suits that stood on the top of the staircase.
"Good evening, miss." They both said.
You nodded and walked inside. Your eyes widened as you drank in all the features of the castle. A huge diamond chandelier hung above the dancefloor. Two staircases that clung to the wall wrapped around the dancefloor and led up to the top where two thrones sat. The king was in one smiling and talking to the servant next to him. Then your eyes landed on him. The prince, Jack. Although you couldn't see all his features from here, you still remembered how handsome he was from the day you two met. A smile crept onto your face as you continued into the castle. His eyes met yours and he gave you a small wave. You waved back and he began his decent down the steps. Everyone hushed, even the music stopped. A servant approached the top of the staircase and announced, "Prince Seán will begin his search for his wife now." All the ladies straightened up and messed with their hair. You just stood in the back of the crowd, watching Jack step down the staircase. When he reached the bottom, he smiled as he made his way through the crowd. He scanned the crowd as it shifted for him to walk through. His eyes met yours and his smile grew. He continued his walk, ignoring the looks and smiles other ladies gave him. He finally made it to you and offered you his hand.
"Would you like to dance, my lady?"
You smirked. "Of course, good sir."
You two chuckled and made your way to the floor. The music restarted and everyone shuffled around. You ignored the nasty looks the other ladies gave you as you walked past. When you reached the floor, Jack rested his hands on your waist and you wrapped your arms around his neck. You two smiled and stared into each other's eyes until Jack cleared his throat.
"So," he began, "how have you been?"
"I've been pretty good, you?"
"I've been good, but I'm better now that I'm here with you."
You felt the blush rise in your cheeks and you bit your lip. Jack chuckled and you did too.
"So, I wanna know more about you. What does your family do for a living?"
You gulped. What would he think of you if you told him? You decided telling him a lie would be way worse, so you told him the truth. You told him your whole back story.
"Wow, that's tough. I'm sorry you have to deal with that."
"It's normal for me."
"You shouldn't have to go through that, though."
You just smiled at him and continued to dance until you thought of something. Where's the queen?
"You don't have to answer if you're not comfortable with it, but where's the queen? Where's your mother?"
He paused and looked down for a few seconds before he looked back into your eyes.
"She died when I was five. My father never remarried, and I think that has something to do with why he keeps pushing me to find a wife."
"I'm so sorry, Jack," you said as you put your hands in his hair.
"It's okay. I've learned to live with it. Hey, would you want to get out of here?"
You shot him a quizzical look.
"We'd just be going to the balcony," he said with a chuckle.
You nodded and he led you up the stairs and to the left, just like in your dream. He shut the door behind you two and sighed.
"It's much more peaceful out here," he said as he walked up to you.
You leaned on the balcony and listened to the night. Crickets chirped and frogs croaked in a beautiful symphony. You loved the sounds of night. Jack's voice interrupted your thoughts.
"Nice shoes," he chuckled.
You blushed. "They were all I had. Plus, I'm not the kind of girl that's into high heels and such."
"I could tell. I think that's something I like about you. You're different, and I love it." He got closer to you.
You heart began to beat faster. "I love your accent. It's so attractive." You took a step closer to him.
He leaned in and you breathed in his mint cologne. "I love how simple you are. It's cute."
"Your eyes put me in a trance."
He closed the gap in between you too. He leaned in and his lips met yours. You two kissed with passion, and didn't stop until you had to pull away for air. You loved the taste of his soft, pink lips.
"Wow," you two said and you giggled.
"That was amazing," you said.
"Yeah it was. I wouldn't mind having that everyday."
"What are you saying, Princey?" You smirked.
"Marry me, (Y/N)."
[The end of this imagine! I loved it so much, how about you guys? Love you beauties❤]
