I'm not okay

[This imagine was requested by @LizzieBeth28  I hope this is what you wanted:) WARNING: DEPRESSION AND SELF HARM.]

Lately you have been in a bad mood. You've been tired and very unmotivated. All you wanted to do was lay around all day. Jack always wanted to do something together, but you declined. It irritated him. He began to get frustrated with you and he lashed out.

The rain slipped down the window as you looked at the gloomy sky from the couch. You watched lightning light up the black clouds. Unknown to you, Jack had finished recording for today and was now coming out of his room. The rain put you in a trance and you didn't hear a word Jack said.

"(Y/N)? Are you listening?" Jack asked as he leaned up against the wall. You kept your focus on the clouds. "That's  it, I've had enough. I'm leaving, (Y/N)."
This sentence perked your interest. You slowly turned to see that Jack had bags in his hands and was making his way to the door. "You haven't been acting in this relationship lately, so why even bother stringing it along? I'm done. I'm f*cking done." He opened the door and gave one last look at you and sighed. You parted your lips and tried to plead with him, but nothing came out. He slammed the door behind him and you slouched into the couch. Tears filled your eyes and rolled down your cheeks. It felt like you were disconnected from everything. You tried fighting it, but nothing worked. It felt as if you were in eternal darkness and sadness.

You watched the storm until it cleared up and it was nighttime. You quietly went to your bedroom and sat down on the bed. Tears rolled down your cheeks again as you realized Jack was gone. It was all your fault. You should've cared. You should've loved him better. You subconsciously began to rock back and forth on your bed. Your face heated up as more tears spilled out. Suddenly, an idea hit you. You searched in your bathroom for a while until you found it. You held the razorblade up to the light and looked down at your arm. It was all your fault. You inched the blade closer. He's  never coming back. The blade touched your skin. You're  worthless. In one quick motion, you sliced your arm. You yelped in pain and quickly bandaged it up. You crawled into your lonely bed and cried yourself to sleep.

---------

It had been three days since Jack left. You hadn't left the bed, you hadn't even left your room. Your depression was at it's peak and you were suffering. You cut yourself every time you thought about Jack walking out. The world seemed so much darker without him. His bubbly personality always kept you energized. His blue eyes filled you with fascination and wonder. His smile could light up a room. No. He was gone, you had to move on. It's  hard to move on with an empty stomach, though. You hadn't eaten in three days because you were depressed and you had no food. You felt a little better today, so you decided to suck it up and go outside. You dressed in jeans and a hoodie. You carefully pulled the hoodie sleeve over your bandaged arm. You stuffed some money in your pocket and headed out. You walked down the street, head low. Soon, you reached the grocery store. You went down the aisles and threw various food items in your cart until you saw him. He was there, talking to a girl. Your heart leaped, but then you immediately felt saddened. The girl twirled her hair and laughed way too loud at something he said. You accidently dropped a can of beans and drew attention to yourself. His eyes met yours and you quickly picked the can up and scurried away. You heard him call your name and run after you, but you didn't turn around. He called your name again and grabbed your hurt arm. You yelped in pain as he tugged you around. He looked at you confused.

"(Y/N), are you alright?"

You kept your head down. "I'm fine," you said as you snatched your arm away from him and rubbed it. Your jacket sleeve moved up, showing him the bandages. You quickly pulled it down and hoped he didn't see it.

"(Y/N)? Was that what I thought it was? Are you okay?"

"Why do you care? You left." You turned and walked away. You heard him call after you, but you pushed forward. Tears rolled down your cheeks as you ran out of the store. Rain began to fall as you walked down the sidewalk.

"(Y/N)?! Wait!" He followed you out of the store. He jogged to catch up to you and grabbed your shoulders. "What happened to you?"

"I told you, I'm fine." You tried to pull away but he didn't let go.

"You're  not fine." He lifted your chin up so that your eyes met his. "Is everything okay?"

"No, everything is not f*cking okay. I'm not fine. I'm actually dying on the inside. I'm so sad. I can't do anything about it. You were my last light in the world. When you left, everything fell apart. I'm not f*cking okay. I'm tired and unmotivated. I'm blaming myself for everything." Your voice choked up as tears poured down your face.

Jack pulled you in for a hug. "I'm so sorry, (Y/N). I should've noticed. I should've helped instead of leaving like the coward I am. I'm so sorry. I'm never leaving you again. Don't you ever hurt yourself again, baby girl. You are beautiful and loved. You're  lying to yourself if you think otherwise. I'm here for you."

Your dark world seemed to lighten up as you stood there in Jack's arms. Your dark thoughts subsided and you began to feel normal again. Jack kissed your neck and tickled you a little, causing you to giggle. You felt...happy.
