The Dingo
I got permission from Mom to go with the guys to The Dingo and to spend the night at the Curtis' house. The Dingo was a nicely decorated diner with tables and a bar where you can eat and drink at, it's family friendly so there's non alcoholic beverages only. We shared a large table for eight. A waitress walked to us.
"Hi! How are y'all?"
"We're fine and dandy," Soda replied.
"What can I get y'all to drink?"
"Eight small cokes," Darry said.
She left to get us our cokes. Darry spoke just a minute after she left.
"Alright remember, The Dingo and the sleepover is a celebration of Jackie's victory. We would've lost if it haven't been for Jackie's skills."
The waitress brought the drinks to us.
"What would you like to order?"
"Eight cheeseburgers and one large fry to split."
She left and he continued.
"Jackie, you're amazing. You're one of the strongest fighters we've ever had in a long time."
Two-Bit raised his hand.
"Can I say somethin'"
"Sure, Two."
"Jackie, I think you're also one of the bravest Greasers we've ever had. You're never afraid to kick Soc tail-"
"Or anyone's tail for that matter," I said.
"Yep!"
They laughed.
Dally raised his hand.
"Anything you wanna say, Dal?" Darry asked.
"Yeah. Jackie, you're cool, everything about you is cool. Even your blade, it's not a switchblade but it's sharp like one."
Then. Soda spoke up.
"Alright, let's raise our glasses. To Jackie!"
"To Jackie!" They all shouted.
We took a sip of our cokes.
The waitress brought the food to us and we ate. Then, out of nowhere, a girl walked to Dally.
"Hey baby!"
"What are you doing here?"
"I came to see you. Wondering if you could come over to my place and...you know."
"I'm busy at the moment, Cheryl. Maybe next time."
"Come on, Dallas. I want you!"
She started kissing his neck.
"Could you please leave me alone!"
"Let me think...nope."
I butted in.
"Hey slut!?" I shouted.
She turned to me.
"What'd you call me, grease girl? I didn't hear you!"
"You heard me!"
"I oughtta kick your ass, grease bitch, for calling me what you just called me."
"Wait a minute, I thought you said you didn't hear me."
Me and Two-Bit burst out laughing.
"You wanna fight!?"
"Bring it on!"
Dally stopped us.
"Woah, Cheryl's our kind. You can't fight each other."
"I'm not a Greaser," Cheryl said.
"What? You told me you were."
"I lied so I could date you."
"You a Soc?" I asked.
"Nope, just a regular citizen of Tulsa."
"Let's take this outside," I said.
Darry stopped me.
"Let's just pay and leave."
Darry went to pay for the food as Cheryl left and the boys were telling me to keep calm.
