The past few days were the longest days I ever had in my life. All we did was read and play cards. I got sick of eating baloney. I love baloney but temporarily living on it ruined it for me.

I was awoken by a familiar face.

"Hey Dallas! How are you?"

We were happy to see him!

"Jesus Christ it's Marylin Monroe!" Dally pointed at me.

All three boys laughed.

"Oh shut up!" I said as I joined in.

"Ya'll ready to get somethin' to eat, I'm starvin' man."

"Yeah, you better believe it."

We were in a car Dally was lent.

"Dally, where'd you get this car?"

Dally was acting stupid, he drove with no hands for a few seconds. We pulled into a Dairy Queen drive-thru.

"Welcome to DQ. Can I take your order please?"

"Yeah, I want four barbecue sandwiches, four cokes, and four banana splits!"

We got our food. We were eating our food when we were interrupted by tow kids.

"Hey mister, you have fifteen cents?"

"Nah, I don't have any money man," Dally said.

"Do you have a-"

"Could you please go away?"

"Do you have a dime?"

"Go away! Get outta here!"

I felt sorry for those kids. Dally can be an ass but he's got a heart of gold.

"So, Jackie, what brings your involvement in this whole fiasco?" Dally asked.

"My mom's gonna marry that creep Bud."

I felt sick to my stomach as I mentioned Bud's name. Dally stared at me.

"I'm gonna kill that son of a bitch and bitch!"

"Dally, Mom has no idea that he did what he did but I did tell her this: if you wanna choose him over her own child then screw it!"

"How'd she react?"

"As I ran out, the last thing she said to me was 'Get back here!"

"You need to tell her man!"

Then, Johnny spoke up.

"Dal, we're gonna go back and turn ourselves in."

Dally was shocked. Johnny continued.

"We might get a good chance of being let off easy."

We left.
