Story One-Fractured Fairytale: Jack and the Beanstalk

Okay, so this is just crap that I wrote in seventh grade. The Thanatian Cats are named after the Greek god of death, Thanatos.

Once upon a time, there was a cannibal named Jack, and a giant. The giant was tending his garden one day, when he noticed that a beanstalk in the middle of it had grown into the clouds. There also seemed to be a boy on it. He was climbing down it quickly.

"Who are you?" Asked the giant.

"Jack," the boy answered. "And I've come to eat you, and all of your kind."

Although Jack was a cannibal, he enjoyed any type of flesh. One day, when he heard of giants, he decided that they would be a far larger and juicer meal than humans, and that he would like to try some. In anticipation of the meal, Jack began to speed up his descent. His feet started to slide on the waxy leaves. As the giant watched, Jack let out a shout and fell of the beanstalk. He landed facedown in the dirt and didn't move. Not quite excited to have a dead body laying in his garden, the giant called 911.

Later, he heard that Jack only had a concussion, and had somehow survived the impact. When the giant interrogators asked why he ate people, he said "I would never eat anyone, why do you ask that?" He claimed he had amnesia, but the nurses didn't believe him and so brought in the giant from the garden so Jack could apologize.

"So you don't remember any of that?" The giant asked him skeptically.

"No, I don't, and I'm sorry for whatever it is that I did."

"Good," said the giant, as he ate him.
