It was 2:15 pm after school me and my friends went to " Glamorous and Styling Boutique" a Local dress shop in downtown city. The shop was only a mile long hike across our school tennis court. We arrived at the Boutique at 3:00 pm. Prom was just two weeks away and Jack asked me to prom a month early. I remember like it was yesterday that he gave me a promise ring and I was his everything second to his family. Anyways my friends Rebecca, Taylor, and Ashley were also excited for me. Jack and I were the ultimate couples of the school. We both started the couple allowed rule. Okay, enough of that let's get to talking about dresses.

We went inside the dress boutique and believe me there was a ton of million selections of different styles dresses. The store was so neat and organized in sizes, colors, and company brands. The sale person said, " Welcome to G&S Boutique if you need help or assistance just ask me or my co-workers. I'm Janie Ann I have been working here for 4 almost 5 years so just ask don't be afraid. Go take a look, see for yourself if you would like to try on something the dressing rooms are right down the hall to the left-center corner. Anyways have fun shopping. " I said, " Thank you for your kind lovely service and yes we will be sure to ask you or your co-workers if we have questions and assistance." My friends and I took a look around. We also tried on some dresses. My friend Rebecca said, " Hey Meghan know what dress you should go into prom with a Red Dress." My friend Ashley said, " I agree Jack would go head over heels for you not that he's already into you. What I'm trying to say is that you will look more gorgeous and hot." I said, " Red isn't my color I just never big I fan of bright colors. Sorry I would have to decline although thank you for the suggestion and I really appreciate the offer." Rebecca said, " Okay I'm just saying you want to stay number one you and him will have to dress the part." I said, " Hahaha funny everybody knows already that we are in first place. Plus I made it through freshman year without people know that me and him were a couple because remember couples were a no brainer on campus." Taylor said, " I didn't know that." Ashley said, " Taylor you weren't here yet you just came like one year and half of a semester ago." Taylor said, " Right." Rebecca said, " Oh yes the couple that made the Couple Allowed Rule on the school campus." I rolled my eyes at Rebecca and continued to look for dresses to try on.

I found this aquamarine rhinestone dress with a silver line bow going across my hips and I asked one of the workers if I could try the dress on. The worker that I asked her name is Bailey. Bailey is an assistant worker paying off her college funds. Bailey unlocked a dressing room #2 to be exact. I went into the dressing room and tried on the dress. I asked my friend Ashley to come and help me to zip the dress up. I looked into the mirror and said, " Is this the one or can I do better?" to myself as I came out to show my friends. Taylor was like yes girl while Rebecca was like I feel the red pops on you more. Don't get me wrong I loved the dress although it wasn't a perfect fit because it was a size to up (big) for me. I'm a size 12 and that was a size 13. I'm a small average size compare to all my friends who's a medium. I went back to the dressing room and took the dress off. I gave the dress back to Bailey and continued to look for the perfect dress for me. My friend Taylor found a dress and said, " Hey Meghan you should totally try this floral print dress on." I said, " Okay if you insist." I went back into the dressing room and tried the dress on." I liked the dress although I didn't know how to break it to Taylor that it wasn't my style. Taylor is the very sensitive overly used dramatic one. She is so emotional about the little and big things it just touches her or moves her in a way that it hurts. I came out of the dressing room to show my friends the dress. I said, " Taylor I'm not too sure about this one although I think this dress would be a better fit for you. It's not my typical style for a dress. Don't get me wrong yes I do love flowers and floral print but this is prom." Taylor said, " Okay I'll understand and I'm okay don't worry. Thank you for being honest." I said, " Your welcome." I went back into the dressing room and took the dress off.

I saw this lavender lace dress with a puff upskirt under and I asked a worker the same worker Bailey if they have it in gold color. Bailey said, " We don't have it in gold although we do have it in champagne or a sea teal color. I said, " Okay thank you." Bailey asked Samatha (another one of the workers) to get the dress from the storage closet in the back. Samatha said, " Bailey here is the dresses." I tried both dresses although I must say I did like the teal one because it had poofy shoulders. I found my perfect dress and it was 250 dollars with a 30 dollar tax. Luckily I saved 5,000 dollars and I brought 1,000 with me to the store. I paid for my dress and gave the store workers a 15 dollar tip to say thank you for their service.

Don't worry my friends also brought their prom dresses. Ashley brought a golden yellow gemstone dress, Rebbeca brought a ruby red dress with a runaway tail in the back, and Taylor brought a baby pink dress that has flowers." After we brought our dresses they gave us a receipt and on the receipt, there was a date for the pickup of the dresses. We walked out of the store and said, " Bye thank you." I showed my friends my receipt and said, " Look the pickup date is in between 1 week and 4 days before prom." All of my friends said, " Mines too." All of us laughed and went to a beauty store to test out some makeup products for prom.

We walked across the street and headed uphill to Zaraforahs. Zaraforahs is a beauty shop just a few blocks from our favorite dine-in and out sushi bar-restaurant. When we got to Zaraforahs we headed straight towards the glossy and lip areas. The lip isle was our favorite place. We took a napkin from the front counter as one of the workers greeted us with a smile. The worker said, " Hi my name is Georgia if you need any help don't be hesitated to ask. We are having a few sales currently going on, and if you buy 30 items or more you get a reward for some pretty cool free stuff. By the way, the sales are by two products from the same brand gets 50 percent off of each purchase, 20 percent off of all additional items that's ain't on the free gift card deal, glam and prom collection 10 percent off with the buy one free purchase makeup products different brand. If you are a Zaraforah member then with every designer makeup purchase you will get 40 percent off with each 100 dollar mark though out the year if you come here often and all seasonal beauty packages are free with 4 season products you have purchased." I said, " That's good to know thank you and yes we will let you know if we need help with anything."

My friends and I tested some of our favorite glossier and sticks on a napkin. I personality liked the Rosen Red, Pucker Up Purple, Champagne Pink, and Clear Shimmer. There were also a few lips kits so I looked at those. The lip kits were titled Pride Rainbow, Summer Island, Girls Night Out, Diva Princesses, and Prom Formal. I placed the Prom Formal and Diva Princesses Lip Kit into my basket. My friends also placed the Prom Formal lip kit into their basket.

After we were done looking at the lip sections all of us headed towards the eye makeup section. The eye section had eye shadows, eyeliner, fake eyelashes, mascara, and eyebrow gel. They also had eyebrow brushes and eye jewels. There were so many collections and options to choose from. My friends and I went to the front desk to grab another napkin for testing the eye shadows. I asked Georgia, " What would you recommend for Prom? Any suggestions or favorites since you work here and you know the store better." Georgia said, " Great excellent question since I been working here for almost 15 years I would say try the Moonlight Devil which is a dark blue and dark purple tint looks like black with a sparkly finishing touch or the Pastel Glisten which is a rainbow of light colors with a hint of gold shine. You can also test out the Snow Candies which is white with colorful dots and cream-colored glitter. We also have popular eye palettes like Space, Jungle, Mermaid, and Sun. Sun is a pallet that has different colors or types of sunsets and sunrises. Space is a pallet that has the name of each planet and its colors. In Space, we also have a galaxy eyeshadow. Mermaid is a pallet where the colors are pastels. The Jungle is a pallet where we have different eye shadows named after animals. Feel free to check those pallets out too." I said, " Okay thank you and yes we will check those colors out." I went back to my friends and continued to look and test out eye shadows.

My friend Ashley asked me, " Where were you? We have been trying on a lot of eye shadows. My friend Rebecca added, " We only tried about 10. Don't worry you didn't miss much." I said, " I was talking to one of the workers asking her what she suggested." My friend Taylor said, " What did she recommend?' I said, " Moonlight Devil and Pastel Glisten." Taylor said, " Cool what are those?" I said, " Moonlight Devil is a dark purple and dark blue combo with a sparkly touch. Pastel Glisten is a rainbow with all pastel colors and a golden shine. She also said test out the Snow Candies which is a white eyeshadow with colorful dots and glitter." Ashley said, " What are you waiting for go and try on eye shadows." I said, " Okay just for the record I'm not a big fan of eye shadows." Ashley said, " Oh really then how come you wear them." I said, " Hahaha very funny I only wear them when I go out and sometimes school." Rebecca said, " Hurry we only have an hour and 30 minutes left before sunset to get back to our dorm room." I tried on some eye shadows colors on a napkin until I found the one that I liked. I really like the Stars which is a black eye shadow with gold spectacles. I also liked the Disco which was a holographic eyeshadow. I found a few eye shadow palettes that I liked. One of the palettes that I found was an LGBTQ inspired and if you purchase that palette all of the money with every dollar will go to The Trevor Project to help prevent Suicide of LGBTQ community members (disclaimer: This is not sponsored by the company and I just wanted to mention that because now is a great time to donate). The second palette that I found was a basic neutral color (tan, peach, brown, light brown, apricot, dark brown, gray, light gray, and black) because everybody needs a solid basic color. The third palette I found was diamond cosmetics. The last palette I found was a Bold dark color (dark red, dark purple, dark blue, dark green, dark brown, dark yellow, dark gray, dark orange, and black).

My friends and I went to the checkout to pay for our makeup. We all used our Zaraforahs cards and the bill came out cheaper than if we didn't use our card. I got almost 25 percent off of most beauty products. My bill came out to 150.49 dollars with 5 percent taxes and fees. If I didn't use my card the bill would be 300 dollars. Anyways my friends and I walked out of the store and went to our favorite sushi restaurant for dinner.

We arrived at the restaurant at 4:00 and we ate dinner until 4:40. I had the Aloha Fire Roll which is a pink salmon, cucumbers, carrots, and fish eggs on top with a sriracha mayo sauce for the final touch of the spice kick. Ashley had an Island roll which is Ahi poke, avocado, imitation crab with Teriyaki sauce. Taylor had a Pirate roll which was a Mahi deep fry sushi with sesame seeds on top and sesame dressing for the sauce. Rebecca had a Luau Roll which was a rainbow roll with papaya seed dressing on top. We all ordered a side of veggie sticks and chicken katsu. We shared a bowl of Udon Ramen noodle and we each got mini bowls to put the ramen in. The workers over there prepare the food super fast it only takes 10-15 maybe 20 minutes depends on what you are ordering to have the dish ready. They even sever you the food all in one take and the food is only less than 25 bucks on the menu. If you order the special it's 45-50 dollars and if you are ordering a platter then it's 60-75 dollars. They are expensive although it's worth it. Our bill came out to 35 dollars total if you add everything up. We walked out of the sushi place and left a 5 dollar tip.

We waited for a taxi cab to pick us up it was 4:45 when we left the restaurant. Five minutes later at 4:50, a taxi came to take us back to our dorm room. Ten minutes later at 5:00, we arrived at our dorm room. We gave the driver a 5 dollar tip and went out of the taxi car. We walked to our dorm room. I share a dorm room with Ashley. Rebecca and Taylor share a dorm room. We all went to the girl's shower room at 5:10 and showered. We all have to stick by the rule which is " five minutes in, five minutes out, 10 minutes to change, and 10 minutes to leave the shower room." It was 5:15 when all of us got done showering and changed into our pajamas. By the time we got out of the shower room, it was in between 5:20 and 5:25. We headed and walked straight back to our room. I arrived at my room at 5:30 and did homework until 8 o'clock. I did my English homework until 6:35. My English homework was to write a 10 pages essay each day on the daily topic. The daily topic for today was " Debate on whether solo collabs with other artists from a different genre of music background is a good thing or a bad thing for our society and community." I have to explain the 5 w's and 1 h. After I was done with the essay I did my science homework. My science homework took until 7:13. My science homework was to describe the scientific method of the video presentation in class for tomorrow's experimental project. After I was done with writing the scientific method word for word of the presentation that I saw I moved on to my math homework. My math homework was Trigonometry. My math homework took until 7:20. After I was done with my Trigonometry homework I went on to my social studies homework. I had to do a visual presentation on " The Gold Rush". My visual presentation on " The Gold Rush" took until 7:55 to write a PowerPoint. When I was finished with all of my homework I went to the girl's bathroom to do my night skincare routine. My night routine for my skin consists of a face mask or I just wash my face with a sensitive foamy face wash and after I'm done with either using a face mask or washing my face I use a moisturizer to moisturize my face. After I'm done with my night skincare routine I brush my teeth with a whiten green minty fluoride toothpaste. When I'm done with brushing my teeth I floss with a mint flosser in between the cracks of my teeth and use a pink bubble gum flavor mouth wash after flossing. Once I'm done with everything it's 8:15 and I walk back to my room. When I arrived back in my room I picked up a book from my mini bookshelf under my lamp desk. The book that I picked was called " Cupcake Queen by Heather Hepler". It's a library book that I borrowed. By the time it was 8:30 I went and put back the book on the shelf. At 8:45 I headed off to bed because our school has this rule " All BedTimes is at 9:00 pm on Weekdays and Weekends it's 10:00 pm".
