"Oh,"
I couldn't really say too much else. I mean, what could there be to say, you live your entire life or so founding an idea of who you are, you learn more and more about the world around you picking up little habits sometimes doing things you had no idea you could. Hades, I found a family and some amazing friends, and I guess, helped people.
Well there couldn't be the kid they all think of in me. I mean, he was around a long, long time ago. And, fine, I've been around for a while
but-
but-but-
"I can't be him," I said it like he most obvious thing in the world, "The guy was a hero and stuff. Sorry to disappoint Chiron, but if he was still around, I'm positive he would be running back to you guys, right. That seems to be a heroic thing to do, and well. I'm no hero, that's for certain."
"Ok. Fine, I'll put it to you this way," The firey blond stalker, Annabeth, "From what we could piece together, you obviously had a Heroes life at some point, you're fantastic with a sword and your speech patterns, movements, facial expressions. Hades, even the way you talk half the time, is exactly like him."
"Fine, if you are so dead set on me being this Percy Jackson guy, which I'm not, by the way. I go and find the memories in Tooth's place that might prove you to be right or wrong, and hey, if it works, well, I guess that I could finally figure out my past."
At this point, a faint yelling could be heard. Nothing defined it, and still, it cut through my panic-filled brain. I knew the voice. How couldn't I? She was always trailing such a long distance. Soon soft, lightly tanned arms wrap around my shoulders. The soft feeling of grass tickling against my ice frosted cheek. A breeze that promises peace seeming to spread across my neck.
Spring had caught up to me again.
I'm not doing too hot Hersheys.
