Prologue

"You want to do what?" I ask Ben as I was sitting on his bed playing with my staff until he said those words.

"I want to give the villain kids a chance.. I mean they're not to blame for what their parents did, why should they be punished for it?" He asked and I bite my lip, he's right. He has a point there but I'm sure most people here will disagree with his choice.

"Ben.. I love you and I know you know that but.. bringing kids from the Isle will come with big consequences and risks.. you do know that right?" I ask making sure he knows what he's getting himself into.

"Not everyone will agree with your choice, and I'm talking for almost all of Aurodon except for me and probably Doug. Neither Audrey nor your parents will be too happy with this." I continue placing my staff on the ground and leaning on it while I look at it.

"I know, but I have to do this. It's something that has always stayed on my mind and I can't just continue like this." He says and I sigh.

"Alright, as long as you know what could happen I have no problem with it." I say giving him a smile he returned.

"So you'll be with me on this?" He asked and I nod.

"All the way, at least this year won't be boring." I say giving him a cheeky smile. Me and Ben have been friends since little age and I remember we became friends pretty quickly and soon we became almost siblings.

"Thank you." He says and I smiled placing my hand on his shoulder about to wish him luck when the guy that was going to take Ben's measurements came in and soon came his parents. They had a small argument about Ben being crowned king at such a young age and then came what he wanted to do.

"Mom, dad, I've chosen my first official proclamation. I've decided that the children from the Isle of the lost be given a chance.. to live here in Auradon." I look at his parents as Belle let's the cloth she had in her hand fall.

"Every time I look into the island I feel like they've been abandoned." Ben says walking closer to them and I stepped next to him for moral support.

"The children of our sworn enemies living among us?" His father asks.

"We start out with a few at first, only ones who need our help the most. I've already chosen them." He says and I raise a brow.. I guess this really was on his mind for a long time.

"Have you?" I took a step forward as Belle hold his arm.

"I gave you a second chance." She says making him back down.

"Who are their parents?" Belle asked.

"Cruella De Ville, Jafar, Evil Queen.. and Maleficent." Everyone freaked out at the last one.

"Maleficent?! She's the worst villain in the land!" Beast screamed.

"Dad just hear me out here." Ben tried.

"I won't hear of it, they are guilty of unspeakable crimes." I decided to speak.

"Oh and I guess their children are to blame for being born to the wrong parent? Are you really such a ruler that will punish kids that weren't even born? Denying them a chance of knowing what happiness is? Having a normal life? You say that their parents have done unspeakable crimes yet everyone here knows about them! It's unfair to judge them when they had never done anything wrong.. and maybe they will be trouble at the beginning I know that. But that's just because they don't know of anything else in life.. that's why we're asking you to give them a chance." I say taking Ben's hand to show I was here with him.

"Dad their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life? Dad.." Ben says causing Beast to think about it.

"I suppose that.. the children are innocent." He says making me and Ben smile at each other.

"Well done." Belle says fixing his suit and giving us a smile before walking to Beast hugging his hand and walking out.

"Yes!" I say happily wrapping my hands around his neck as he twirls me around.

"We did it!" I say as he smiles.

"Yeah we did." He says looking to the Isle behind me causing me to look at it too.

"We're doing something right. People are going to judge, and this will maybe bring a lot of trouble for sometime... but something tells me it'll be worth it." I say after some time just looking at the Isle.

"I know." He says looking down at me.

"And I'll be there right with you every step of the way like always." I say making him smile.

"Thanks." I smile and hug his side.

Today the villain kids were coming. I stood next to Ben hugging his arm opposite Audrey staying as far away as possible. Soon they all came out but the boys seemed to.. be fighting over something? Soon Fairy God Mother asked them to leave it and the more buff one took a step towards Audrey.

"Hello foxy. The name's Jay." He says in a flirty way making me giggle from Ben's side causing him to look at me. He's actually pretty handsome, brown hair and eyes, well build body. Still from what he just did with Audrey I could tell he's a total player.

"Welcome to Auradon prep. I'm fairy god mother head mistress." Fairy god mother said introducing herself and I noticed the purple haired girl talked a lot about the wand.

"It's so good to finally meet you all, I'm Ben." Ben was cut off by Audrey making me roll my eyes at her words.

"Prince Benjamin, soon to be king."

"You had me at prince, my mother's a queen which makes me a princess." I guess this must be Evil Queen's daughter then.

"The Evil Queen has no royal status here. And neither do you." I roll my eyes.

"Just because you say it with a fake smile doesn't make it nice Audrey." I say crossing my arms.

"This is Audrey." Ben says but Audrey again had to open her mouth and take his hand.

"Princess Audrey, his girlfriend, right Bennyboo?" I just raised a brow.. I seriously wonder sometimes how Ben can deal with her.

"I'm Winter by the way. Ben, Audrey and I will be showing you around and to your rooms." I say giving them a smile as Fairy God Mother left telling them the library hours.
