Winter POV

Today was coronation day. Being best friends with Ben since childhood meant I could be down here with him. I looked up and saw Jay feeling my heart break as I saw him but quickly looked away when the doors opened and Ben walked in. I smile at him before bowing when he walked past me making it to where his parents and fairy god mother was. He got on his knees before fairy god mother placed the crown on his head making me smile as she walked to her wand taking it in her hand.

"You solemnly swear to govern the people on Auradon with justice and mercy as long as you shall reign?" Fairy god mother says making me feel proud for a second of being his best friend.

"I do solemnly swear." Ben says.

"Then it is my honor and joy to bless our new king-" We all gasp as Jane takes the wand in her hand and starts losing control of it.

"Child what are you doing?!" Fairy god mother yelled.

"If you won't make me beautiful then I'll do it myself!" Jane says again losing control until Mal took the wand away from her.

"Mal.. give me the wand." Ben says getting in front of her with his back to me.

"Stand back." She says.

"It's ok." Ben tries to calm her taking a step forward.

"Ben I said stay back!" Mal yells.

"I told you so!" Audrey stepped forward before yelling and being pulled back when Mal pointed the wand her way and the rest of the VK's get here as well.

"Lets go." Carlos says.

"Revenge time." Jay says.

"You really wanna do this?" Ben asks looking at Mal.

"We have no choice! Our parents-" Ben cuts Mal off.

"Your parents made their choices. Now you make yours." Ben says making Mal think.

"I think I wanna be good." She says.

"You are good." Ben answers.

"How do you know that?!" Mal almost screams.

"Because.. Because I'm listening to my heart." Ben answers.

"I wanna listen to my heart too.. and my heart is telling me that we're not our parents. I mean," She looks at Jay. 

"Stealing things doesn't make you happy, Tourney and victory pizza with the team makes you happy.. Winter makes you happy." She says as Jay looks at me with sad eyes. 

"And you scratching Dude's belly makes you happy who would've thought. And Evie, you do not need to get a guy you are so smart." I keep looking at Jay who doesn't take his eyes off me.

"And I don't want to take over the world with evil, it doesn't make me happy. I wanna go to school, and be with Ben. Because Ben makes me really happy. Us being friends makes me really happy. Not destroying things, I choose good you guys." Mal says extending her fist forward.

"I choose good too." Jay says smiling at Mal before looking at me and smiling then Evie as we all look at Carlos waiting for him to do the same as the other three did.

"So just to be clear, we don't have to be worried how really mad our parents will be? Cause they're gonna be really really mad." He asks as we all laugh.

"Your parents can't reach you here." Ben says and Carlos sighs.

"Ok then.. good." Carlos says bumping their fists as we smile. Mal looks at Ben and me causing us both to walk towards them bumping our fists as well as Mal lean into Ben and Jay looked down at me.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled and not a second later thunder was heard and Maleficent was seen.

"I'm back!" She sang.

"Go away mother." Mal says causing Maleficent to laugh.

"Very funny, here, wand me. Chop chop." Maleficent says.

"No!" Ben yells before Mal throws the wand towards fairy god mother.

"Bibbidi bobbidi-" Fairy god mother started before Maleficent said.

"Boo!" Next thing I know Maleficent was gone and Jay was in front of me.

"What just happen?" I ask as he lets out a sigh of relief hugging me.

"I'm so glad you're ok." He says making my heart hurt as he pulls away and looks into my eyes.

"And I'm so sorry." He says placing his hand on my cheek.

"I didn't want to hurt you I love you too much to ever hurt you like that again and it took everything in me not to hug you when I saw you crying." I just stay there frozen for a second before looking at him wide eyes processing what he just said.

"Did you just say you love me?" I ask feeling as he himself freezes. I guess he really meant what he said.. he wasn't even thinking when he said it.

"I, uh.. well-" I wrap my hands around his neck pulling him towards me kissing his lips sweetly surprising him.

"I love you too." I say looking into his eyes making him smile and wrap his hands around me pulling me closer and kissing me again.

"You look beautiful by the way.. you always do but today you just had me wanting to kiss you since I saw you." He says when we pull away making me smile kissing his cheek. I was wearing a beautiful light blue dress Evie made for me with my hair in a crown like bride and high heels so I wasn't as short as I'd normally be. (Outfit up top)

"You don't look so bad yourself." I say winking at him before taking his hand and walking towards Evie, Carlos, Ben and Mal.

"Let's get this party started." Me and Jay say at the same time before looking at each other and laughing.

"Hey Winter.." Jay says as he takes me to his room. Carlos was still at the after party and we had escaped it somehow without people knowing.

"Yeah?" I ask as we walk in and I look around. I had never been to his dorm.

"I love you." He says making me look at him and smile giving him a hug with my head on his shoulder.

"I love you too Jay." I mumble as he hugs me tighter to him.
