It's been a long time , I am updating and happy New year guys.. sorry for my late wishes and this is my first update of this year..

42. Is it meant to be..?

Abhi walks into an isolated place which is only surrounded by the darkness. His anger aroused of thinking the day they were about to face their death. He would have left if they harmed him but they targeted his kids which he can't even forgive them.

" abhi.. they are the one who tied that bomb in adi's body.." he heard purab saying and saw two men sitting before him.

" Aryan..." Abhi wondered when he saw his best friend with blood oozing from his lips and his hands tied together at the back. The other one was unconcious and abhi disnt dare to look at him.

" dont say you are shocked..? I wanted to take away all the happiness from you but you just escaped from me.." he said while purab punched him hard.

" leave him purab.." Abhi said pulling him away from Aryan because he know that purab might kill him .

" abhi..I will kill him.." purab struggles in his hold but abhi asked him to keep quite.

" why you did like that ? I have always true to you , then why you longed to snatch my kids ..? "Abhi asked Aryan sitting before him.

Aryan laughed aloud making abhi to lose his temper but still he controlled himself and waited for his reply.

" you were nice to me..? Is it..? Okay I agree yaar but to my sister..? Breaking her completly by marrying that bitch who trapped you for money.. what you saw in her which my sister doesn't have..? " Aryan asked as he felt a sharp pain on his left cheek when abhi slapped him hard.

" dont even dare to say a word wrong about my pragya..!! Do you think I can make sara happy by marrying her..you bloody idiot.. this abhi belongs to pragya and she belongs to me... no one can separate us.." Abhi said .

" and sara too accepted it then why can't you understand it. What if something wrong happened that day..? Will you able to give my son and wife back.." Abhi asked holding his collars.

He left him and dialled for someone to make a call . Aryan looked at him in anger and was wondering what he is trying to do.

" hello ... Sara.." Abhi said as soon as the call gets connected and puts in speaker. He gazed at Aryan keeping the phone near him.

" Sara.. you know right that I love pragya and already I had repeated this for number of times.. " abhi spoke with an anger inside him.

" yes.. abhi I know you love pragya and I accepted it.. why you are asking it now.." she asked confused by his call. Though she felt pain inside her when abhi rejected her for pragya , she tried to stay calm.

" that day you remember ..when adi was kidnapped and a bomb was set in his body..do you remember..?  " he asked gritting his teeth.

" yeah.. I remember abhi.. any details about it..? " she asked him.

" i found out the man who tried to kill my family. I came here to kill him but I can't do..because he was my old best friend and brother of my friend.." he said looking at Aryan with tears in his life. The old days which were golden for him flashed before his eyes.

" bhai..Is Aryan bhai..? How can he..? " Sara asked sounding low.

" i am sorry abhi.. " she added while abhi cuts the call.

" order me abhi..I will inform the police and will make him to live his life in jail.." purab asked abhi but he stayed quite.

" leave him purab.." abhi said and purab with no way left , untied the ropes. When Aryan crossed abhi , he stopped him saying " I will not be quite like this if you again try to reach my kids or my wife.. you will see the bad ABHISHEK MEHRA " abhi said furiously looking at Aryan in anger.

He left with his men while purab fisted his hand against the wall. He would have killed for messing with adi who is like his child.

Abhi came out with purab to get back to his office. After the resignation from the match , abhi started to work with purab .

" happy birthday Sara..."

" abhi..I wanted to say an important thing.. I don't know how will you take it but I have to.. I could not predict when and how it happened..!!"

" matlab.."

" i am in love with you abhi.. yes I do.."

" what..?? I mean ... I am sorry Sara but I don't have such feelings for you..you are my friend's sister and how can i see you like..that..and most important thing.. I am in love with pragya.."

" abhi.. your phone is ringing " purab said placing his hand on abhi's shoulders who was immersed in his past. He shook his head a little and took his phone from the pocket.

' why is she calling me..? Did adi and aditi troubled her..I must return back to home..'

" purab.. I will get back to home as pragya is alone with kids. Dadi and dasi went for pooja while aliya went to her friend's house. We will meet tomorrow " abhi said and purab nods with smile. He left from there while abhi attends the call.

" papa..." he heard aditi's voice and he could sense she is crying. She sounds low and abhi got panicked by her. He gets inside the car and connected it with Bluetooth.

" what happened to my princess?  Why she is crying now..?" He asked with a little tension. He speaks to her while driving carefully..

" papa..mumma.." she choked while abhi heard adi's voice behind.

" what happened beta .. did mumma scolded you.. wait I will come and will scold her.." abhi said in a cheering voice.

" papa.. after you left , mumma asked us to play for some time and she told she will prepare pasta for us.. but when we return , we find mumma lying on the floor , unconcious. .. papa come soon..." aditi cried over the phone.

" princess... don't cry .. you know right.. mumma is caring a baby and because of that she might be fainted .." abhi explained his little Angel .

" then I don't want that baby.. I need only my mumma..." aditi said making hard for abhi to concentrate on driving.

" baby.. you should not talk like this.. junior will feel bad right ... take care of mumma..I am on the way and I will come soon baby.." abhi said ending the call.

He called the doctor to come soon to his mansion and started to drive fast. His heart beats fast to stay beside pragya and was longing to meet her. The fear engulfed him of going to see the state of Pragya. He was taking care of her properly.. then what happened suddenly was his only thought.

Abhi reached home and paced to the kitchen to see pragya lying on the floor unconcious. Adi was rubbing her hands while aditi was weeping beside her.

Abhi took pragya in his arms while adi and aditi followed him to their room. He placed her on the bed and that time the doctor reached.

" please .. wait outside Mr. Mehra.." she said and abhi with the kids came outside.

He saw aditi's pale face and adi was consoling her. Abhi saw a small abhi and aliya and remembers his childhood days.  He was really proud of adi and he never fails to be her saviour.

" papa.. mumma will be fine na.." aditi aksed slowly sitting on his lap. Adi sat beside him while abhi surrounded his hand around them. Though he was also in fear like them but tried to behave normal infornt of them.

" nothing will happen to her.. she will be fine soon.." abhi wiped her tears and kissed her cheeks.

" Mr. Mehra... pragya is fine now.. and she want to meet the kids.." she informed after their 10 minutes of impatient waiting.

Adi and aditi rushed inside to meet pragya while abhi asked about her health. He also thought it is safe that they didn't stay with them now.

" what happened to her..? Is it normal in pregnancy time..? " abhi enquired about pragya.

" i already adviced pragya not to get conceive before the operation but she didn't listen to me..now she had complicated the situation herself .." the doctor said restlessly.

" Abhi.. the chances for the survival of the child is only 35% . Nothing in my hands.. pray to god that everything should happen as per our wish... and stay strong.. and try to make her understand " the doctor said the exact situation.

" i will talk to pragya.." abhi said leaving from there after thanking her.

He saw pragya was talking with adi and aditi and walked inside seeing their cute expressions.

" abhi.. everything is fine right.." pragya asked and abhi nods his head taking  a seat beside them.

" yeah.. it's normal during pregnancy..and how you are feeling now.." abhi asked while she nods her head with a smile.

" now.. you both go and play.. mumma needs to take rest .." abhi said while aditi protested.

" no.. I will not leave mumma.. I will stay here papa.." she said encircling her small hands around pragya.

" you both go.. I am fine baby..and the doctor aunty too confirmed right.." pragya asked kissing her cheeks.

" okay I will go.." aditi said and both left from there. Abhi moved near pragya and she smiled at him with the nervousness.

" pragya..." abhi struggled a lot to find words but she stopped him.

" abhi.. I know what's the situation.. so don't worry about what's happening now..  everything will be fine.. " pragya said taking his hand in hers.

Abhi thought how to convince pragya but here she is consoling him..he doesn't know what to say as only thought going inside her mind is that she and his baby should be fine.

Next day..

" good morning students.. today there is a new student is here to join with you.. so meet Ruhi ... say hi to her.." the class teacher introduced a smal girl while adi and aditi looked at each other.

" take your seat ruhi..." the teacher informed her while the little one saw an empty seat beside adi . She smiled at him and sat beside him.

" hello.. I am ruhi..." she forwarded her hand while he reciprocated it. Aditi looked at them and smiled at them.

" she is aditi , my twin sister.." adi introduced her to aditi.

" hi ..." aditi squeezed in happiness. Ruhi smiled at her.

" why did you came here..? Leaving your old school.. you might miss your friends right.." aditi asked .

" no..I won't miss anyone because I had no friends.. " she said in a quite upset tone .

" arey we are here na.. why you are worrying now..we both will be best friends for you.. don't think that there is no one for you.." adi said in a cheeky tone.

" what... you both are here.. oh my god.. I will inform abhi about this.." pragya ends the call and looked at abhi who was looking at her confused.

" Ranveer and ishani shifted here ..." pragya said in happiness while abhi nods his head with a smile.

" they are coming today to our home.." pragya said .
