Epilogue

Goa, Anjuna Beach..

Finally a vacation trip in his life for him to dedicate his whole time to the pieces of his heart, his lovable family. He thought with a soft smile playing on his lips while admiring the angel sleeping beside him covered cozily with the comfy blanket on the mattress directly placed on the floor because they kids insisted to sleep like this as a part of their trip adventures. He let his fingers graze her hair fringes lightly before tucking it behind her ear as to not disturb her sleep.

But it looked like his two-year-old chocolate boy was in the mood to disturb his mother's sleep. He wanted her undivided attention as usual. A trait he inherited from his entire family to be honest they are all possessive, obsessed and addicted to Khushi.

"Mumma.." he watched his baby boy holding Khushi's mangalsutra in his tiny hand with a tight grip and before he could pull it harshly to make Khushi wake up from her sleep, he frowned at his son and warned in a scolding tone, "Adi no! Don't disturb Mumma.. let her sleep."

Little Aditya Singh Raizada opened his little fist releasing his mother's mangalsutra with a heavy heart as he pouted making a sad puppy face at his father who only scolded him for trying to wake up his Amma. What to do.. he is an early riser like his father and needs his Mumma's motherly warmth early in the morning.

His big hazel eyes kept staring at his mother sleeping between him and his father as if she was going to wake up at any moment and pull him into her arms and shower his face with sweet sloppy noisy kisses. But looks like she wasn't going to wake up anytime soon today, so he turned to other side facing his back to his father to check on the second girl he loves the most in this world, his elder sister, his best friend, his Princess, his 'Cooki Cleam' (Cookies n cream ice cream), Aashi Singh Raizada.

To his bad luck, she was also sleeping peacefully like his Mumma, hugging her favorite chipmunk teddy bear. He tried to snatch her teddy bear to gain her attention but hearing his father's warning tone, "Adi!" he stopped his actions immediately and sat straight on the bed with a cute grumpy look.

"Attention seeker!" Arnav muttered to himself, shaking his head in disbelief at his son who looked back at him with a cute little frown adorning his forehead as if he heard what his father called him.

"Come here.." Arnav called him to his side of the bed. Adi looked at him and mimicked him with his babyish tone, "Com.. hele Da-da (Dad)!"

Arnav looked at him incredulously making Adi grin sheepishly as he actually stood up on his own to jump to his father's side but before he could join his father, Khushi turned to Arnav's side and wrapped her arm around his waist, nestling her head on his chest as she snuggled to her husband in her sleep. Arnav wrapped his one arm around her protectively while calling his fuming and jealous son with his other hand. If he even dared to tease Adi saying Khushi choose her husband over her son now, Anjuna beach would have witnessed his son transforming into a tsunami disaster early in the morning. So he needed to pacify his little ASR so they could spend the day ahead peacefully like they planned for this vacation trip.

Adi jumped to his father's left side and copied his mother resting his head on his father's chest and placed his arm on top of his mother's arm looking at his mother in awe (his heart melting seeing his mother's angelic face closer) as Arnav pulled the two closer to him in his embrace. Arnav kissed their foreheads, then looked at his angel Aashi sleeping soundly with her teddy bear with a faint smile on his lips, he resisted the urge to reach her and kiss her forehead too as he had mother-son duo in his arms right now.

Khushi opened his eyes slowly feeling a pair of small hands touch on her skin, only to find her son in his father's arm like her, looking like an adorable bubblegum of his Mumma.

"Gu monin Mumma (Good morning)," Adi greeted her with his best charming babyish smile. Khushi reciprocated the smile holding his tiny hands in hers, she kissed his palm affectionately before replying to him, "Good morning my little chocolate!"

"Good morning to you two!" both mother and son looked up to him, Khushi smiled warmly at him while Adi patted his chest lightly, "Gu monin Da-da!"

Khushi withdrew herself from her husband's arms while whispering "Good morning my chocolate" to him, she leaned closer to him and pecked his cheek, then turned to her daughter's side and carefully came closer to kissed her cheek before sitting straight on the mattress rubbing her eyes and stretching her arms cutely ready to start a new beautiful day of her life.

Adi sat on his father's belly, raising his arms calling Khushi to pick him up in her arms. She turned back to look at her son cutely demanding attention from her, she lifted him in his arms showering his face with kisses before stealthily getting up from their mattress and heading towards the bathroom with her son who was excited to wash his face and brush his teeth with his Mumma.

Once they left to the bathroom, Arnav moved closer to Aashi dropping a soft kiss on her forehead causing Aashi to move in her sleep as she half opened her eyes to look at her father. Arnav patted her head lovingly, "Go back to sleep.. sorry Papa disturbed you!"

Aashi shook her head with a smile on her face as if conveying to him that he didn't disturb her sleep, in fact, the moment she woke up and realized that she was on a vacation trip with her family, her sleep got replaced by a supersonic refreshing energy for the day.

After sometime, Khushi walked out of the bathroom with Adi in her arms, she watched Arnav and Aashi having fun on the bed, Arnav was lifting a giggling Aashi and she was enacting a helicopter flying up in the air.

She had an aww like expression on her face watching father-daughter bonding while Adi started clapping his hands excitedly and wriggling in Khushi's arms. Khushi understood he also wanted his father to make him helicopter so she let him stand on his own on the floor and he went running to his father and sister. He stood one feet away from the mattress waiting for his turn to become an helicopter impatiently while also cheering for his elder sister by clasping his hands, "Di.. eeli (helicopter).. Di.. eeliii."

Khushi thought why should she be left behind, she also approached them and stood behind Adi forming a line waiting for Arnav to pick them up and make them fly like a helicopter. Arnav chuckled softly seeing her joining the kids, "Here comes my third baby!" he left Aashi on their bed and picked Adi to repeat the helicopter pose for him.

"I'm not your third baby.. I'm your second baby, Adi is your third baby," Khushi corrected him teasingly.

"Aashi is Papa's first baby!" Aashi squealed in happiness while Adi forgot he was supposed to be enacting a helicopter as he was wondering why his Mumma is calling him as his father's third baby, he was not liking this competition where he was last one. When Arnav left him on the mattress to take Khushi now, he uttered in a complaining tone, "Adi.. fishtt.. Adi.. fishhttt.. no tir.. no tir.. (Adi first.. not third)."

Arnav, Khushi and Aashi laughed at him. Arnav tickled his son's belly, "Khushi, Aashi and Adi always comes first to Dada okay.. no one second or third!"

Adi smiled satisfied with his father's answer. Now he and Aashi sat quietly on the mattress waiting to see their father make their mother fly in the air. They looked astonished when their father lifted their mother up on his feet doing the bird acro-yoga pose with her.

They also pleaded their father to try this pose with them and then they started tickling each other, laughing heartily, playing with their kids and enjoying these blissful moments of their lives.

After playing, Khushi sent Arnav and Aashi to the bathroom to wash their faces and she stayed behind to clean the mattress they slept on yesterday and then she put little Adi in the middle of the bed with Aashi's chipmunk toy to distract him while she was picking out clothes for her and Arnav and the babies from the closet that they would wear today. And then she grabbed two backpacks and started packing towels, extra clothes, undergarments and flip-flops, sunscreen, Adi's diaper and changing kit, wet wipes and extra elastic bands for her and Aashi. She also took a plastic bag to store the kids sand toys for the trip to the beach later.

She smiled in relief after finishing packing, hoping she hadn't forgotten anything the kids would need when they get to the beach. Arnav and Aashi left the bathroom a few minutes later, so Khushi took Aashi with her to freshen up so they could save time while Arnav stayed with Adi waiting for his time.

When Khushi and Aashi walked out of the bathroom after taking their shower, Arnav got up from the mattress with Adi as it was boy's time to shower now. But he lost track of what he was about to do, when he saw his wife walking out of the bathroom with their daughter in her arms, her body only wrapped in a pink bright towel twinning with Aashi. He followed her and stood behind her like a puppy hypnotized by her beauty while she bend forward to make Aashi stand on the mattress so she could dress herself.

Khushi felt Arnav's presence behind her as she straightened up and with a mischievous smile swung her wet hair back to hit his face. But her long wet hair ended up aiming not only at her husband, but at her son, who giggled squinting his eyes and bringing his hands to rub his eyes: "Isshh Mumma!"

Khushi gasped realizing what she did, she turned to face them and caressed her son's cheeks muttering with a guilty look, "Sorry my little chocolate.. it was meant for this big chocolate, not you!"

Arnav smirked in victory when Adi gestured his mother to caress Arnav's cheek like she did with him, "Mumma.. doo tish (do this).. Da-da too."

"Laad governor always finds a way to get things done in his favor. Now my little chocolate is on his side also," Khushi muttered taking her own sweet little time to caress Arnav's cheek with her fingertips tenderly, staring at him with a cute pout adorning her lips.

"He might love his Vanila ice cream mumma and his Cookie n Cream Di a lot, but at the end of the day he inherited his traits from his Chocolate Dada only. So don't complain when this little chocolate favors his Dada instead of his mumma in situation like this," he pecked her cheek lightly.

Khushi smiled blushingly and slapped his arm lightly, "I know.. I know how you two team up to tease me always.. now please go and freshen up naughty father and son chocolate duo!"

Adi giggled as if he understood his parents conversation. Arnav tickled his belly making him laugh out loud even more on their way to the bathroom.

Khushi turned to her daughter and excitedly pointed to the twinning dresses she kept for her and Aashi on the mattress, "Look baby.. Mumma chose this dress for you. Do you want to wear this or should I let you choose another dress of your choice?

Aashi glanced at the dresses on their bed, her eyes lit up, "I want to wear this only Mumma. We're going to wear matching dresses today!"

"Yes, me and my cookie n cream are twinning today," Khushi smiled and sat on the edge of the mattress, taking the white floral print dress in her hands, she handed it to Aashi who quickly put it on and then took her mother's help in zipping the dress back.

"Mumma I'm so excited to play on the beach.. I just can't wait for us to go there," Aashi said with a wide smile and her eyes sparkling with excitement and anticipation.

"Me too baccha.. I already made a list of games we're going to playing on the beach!" Khushi added making her daughter's level of happiness touch the sky. She always tries to be an active participant in her children's activities. As it's a nice way to keep them closer to her, make them look at her as their close friend with whom they can share anything they feel without any hesitation. Arnav, who had a strict no nonsense father attitude before he married her, also understood that it's important to understand when they need to be friendly or strict with their babies.

"Papa will play with us too?" Aashi asked. "Of course he will.. if he even dare to deny playing with us, we're going to lock him up with Paro in this room tonight," Khushi smiled mischiveously, wiggling her eyebrows.

Aashi giggled, "Papa would wake up with a bad headache the next day!"

"Haan.. and then we'll hide his favorite coffee and coffee machine!" Khushi added, chuckling while imagining the poor state of her husband if he ends up spending a night, with her best friend, their pet talking parrot, Paro!

"But Mumma.. won't it be so cruel of us to hide Papa's coffee from him? He can't live without his coffee," Aashi asked, turning serious now, her heart wouldn't allow her to commit such a cruelty to her father.

"Aww meri jaan," Khushi pulled her daughter into a tight hug touched with her daughter's concern for her father, stroking her back in soothing manner she whispered, "Relax my golden heart girl.. Mumma is just kidding. We won't even need to punish your Papa because he will certainly participate in our play activities okay?"

Aashi nodded her head in her mother's warm embrace with a satisfied smile on her face. "Now let me get dressed, then Mumma will help you make your hairstyle," Khushi said. Aashi nodded again.

Arnav was rubbing soap on his baby's boy body as he held on the bathtub rim for support, Adi was trying to snatch the soap from his father's hand whining and insisting that he's capable of taking a bath on his own.

"Adi stand quietly here and let me bath you.. don't start eating my brain now otherwise you'll stay at home, I will only take your Mumma and Aashi to the beach," Arnav narrowed his eyes at his son, moving his hand holding the soap back as Adi tried to reach it.

Adi pouted sulking, "Anji bua-"

"What Anji bua?" Arnav asked, raising his one eyebrow as he rubbed the soap on his chest.

"Adi shay (will say to) Anji bua.. Da-da shcol (scolded) Adi," Adi said threatening his father, pouting and frowning at him.

"Papa will also tell your Anji bua that Adi is being a bad boy now and it's her fault that she keeps spoiling you all the time," Arnav replied as he turned on the hand shower to run the water over his body.

"Adi gu buoy.. Da-da lakshuu (rakshas)," Adi giggled sprinkling the water coming on his way to his father's face.

"You're calling your father rakshas ahn?" Arnav tickled his belly making Adi laugh heartily, trying to escape from his father's hold. Arnav stopped tickling him in fear that his baby boy might slip on the bathtub.

Arnav instructed Adi to tighten his hold on the rim as he continue to wash away the soap scum from his body.

Adi obeyed his father only for few minutes as the moment his another best friend, Laxmi and Lakshman's baby daughter, their pet baby goat, Jalebiheart aka Jebi made her way inside the bathroom through the slightly open door, Adi excitedly raised his hands calling for his friend, "Jebi!"

Jebi came running to Arnav who was sitting on a low stool chair facing the bathtub and rested her head comfortably on his thigh. Like her mother, Jebi is also fond of the great ASR!

Arnav dropped a kiss on her head, greeting their cutest baby goat, "Good morning Jebi!"

Jebi replied to him with a joyful, "Meeh!"

"Da-da.. bat Jebi an Adi.. Da-da bat Jebi an Adi (Papa bath Jebi and Adi)," Adi demanded patting the rim excitedly.

"No Adi!"

Adi's eyes brimmed with tears and the corner of his lips curved down at his father's denial to bath him and his best friend together. Arnav sighed, melting in seconds as he lifted Jebi in his arms and placed her inside the bathtub with Adi. He kept wetting them with the hand shower as he let them play in the bathtub for sometime happily.

*******************************************************************

Khushi giggled seeing her husband walked out of the bathroom with his two babies (Adi and Jebi) wrapped in white towels in his arms. "What happened Arnav ji?" she asked curiously to know what happened inside the bathroom now.

"Your son wanted to take a bath with his friend," Arnav shook his head, rolling his eyes as he reached Khushi who was on the mattress with Aashi on her lap, trying different hairstyles on her daughter's hair. He sat on knees on the mattress and made Adi and Jebi lay on the bed, rubbing them with their towels and then helping Adi with his clothes.

"Why didn't call me to record this moment? I would have sent it to everyone at home. Nani and Laxmi would be so happy to see you bathing Jebi," Khushi whined slapping her husband's back with the hair brush on her hand.

"You're not going to tell anyone what happened here. If Akash, NK, Jiju and Aman find out what this little chocolate made me do, they'll never leave a chance to tease me in future," Arnav glared back at his wife.

Khushi raised her brows with a lop sided smile, "If you want me to shut my mouth, then we'll have to make a deal."

Dressed in black shorts and white tee-shirt with the help of his father, Adi and Jebi approached Aashi who was on her mother's lap, the trio started playing and chatting with each other not paying heed to their parents conversation now.

"What the.. you're seriously trying to talk my language with me Chipku," he raised his one eyebrow in challenge mood.

Khushi shrugged smirking, "Learnt it from you only ASR!"

"Okay.. so what's the deal?" he asked curious now.

"Go and freshen up first.. I'll tell you later," Khushi giggled making him narrow his eyes at her, he moved closer to her and pecked her cheek before getting up heading to the bathroom to finally take a shower. Life after marriage with Khushi and their babies changed his disciplined routine drastically now.

Khushi finally decided the dutch fishtail braid would be the best hairstyle that would suit Aashi's look, so she started working on it.

"Mumma!" Adi called her, patting her arms seeking attention when he noticed she was done with Aashi's hair.

"Haan beta," Khushi looked at him asking through her eyes what he wanted. Adi innocently gestured her to brush his and Jebi's fluffly hair.

Khushi accepted his request as she happily brushed his hair and then Jebi's with care and affection in her touch. And this is what the kids love about her, her caring and affectionate way to deal with them.

*********************************************************************************

After taking a shower and changing his clothes to casual ones, Arnav left the room in search of his wife as he assumed she must be downstairs in the kitchen making the breakfast for them. Aashi, Adi and Jebi stayed on the bedroom watching their favorite cartoons on TV.

(Arnav's look)

As he descended the stairs, a Yellow-Naped amazon parrot, his wife's best friend, Paro came flying suddenly towards him and landed on his shoulder, "What the.. What the.. What the.." she started chanting.

"Good morning Paro!" he rolled his eyes and headed towards the kitchen with Paro screaming on his shoulder, "Good morning What the.. Good morning What the.."

Khushi looked at her husband coming towards her, she smiled and then continued to mix eggs, salt and spice powders in a bowl using a whisk to make a desi style omelette for them.

Arnav approached her, wrapping his arms around her waist and hugging her from behind making Paro escape from his shoulder and fly to stand on top of the fridge. Arnav rested his chin on her shoulder, "So what were saying about the deal Mrs.Raizada?"

"I will tell you later na," Khushi blushed, her hand weakening the grip she had on the whisk because of the closeness with her husband. She so could feel Mr.Raizada had no innocent intentions right now, he will definitely make a good use of this private time they so miraculously got while their kids were getting entertained with their cartoons upstairs.

"Tell me now.. we're alone here," he said breaking the hug as he leaned on the kitchen counter, standing closer to her, trailing soft wet kisses along her jawline and moving down to her neck. Khushi started feeling her breaths heavy when he moved to suck her earlobe, the whisk slipped from her hand as she closed her eyes, parting her soft lips and curling her toes as a response to his not so innocent activities, he already had planning on his mind and was executing it now.

"Rabba vee.. Rabba vee.. oh Rabba veee.." Paro started singing as she watched the romance standing on top of the fridge, only popcorn's were left for her to enjoy!

Khushi gasped snapping back to reality when she heard Paro singing, blushing hard as she slapped his hand resting on the counter lightly, "Stop it Arnav ji.. Paro is here!"

Arnav stopped abruptly as he moved back to look up at Paro weirdly and frustrated, "Seriously shoo away from here Paro.. I can't believe we brought a besharam (shameless) parrot home!"

"Chup.. don't talk like this with my best friend!" Khushi slapped his hand again.

"What the.. what the.. what the.." Paro chanted as if teasing Arnav because Khushi took her side.

"Shut up Paro!" he narrowed his eyes at her, while moving towards the fridge to take out some ingredients to make sandwiches for their beach picnic time.

He was about to open the fridge door when Khushi called him, so he turned back to look at her and noticed she was staring at him with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Before he had time to understand her intentions, she walked to him in a swift and pushed up against the fridge door, slamming her lips to his in a passionate kiss. His back slammed against the door as he held her hips with his hands to balance himself while reciprocating her sudden kiss with equal passion.

"Besharam Rang Kahan Dekha Duniya Walon Ne (The world hasn't seen my true colors yet - The world hasn't seen me in a shameless state yet)," Paro sang teasingly and flew away escaping from the kitchen.

When they broke the kiss feeling out of breath, Arnav rested his forehead against Khushi's and she cupped his face with a dazed smile on her face. Then she pushed him lightly and went back to her omelette making task, blushing like a newly wedded bride.

Arnav smirked, shaking his head, "We've two kids now.. when will you stop being shy and blushing like this?"

"Kabhi nahi (never)," she giggled, "You were asking about the deal na?" she asked to divert the topic otherwise Arnav won't leave a chance to tease her.

But Arnav knew what she was doing, so he opened the fridge taking out the ingredients in his hand while teasing her, "Bichari Paro bhaag gayi tumhari besharam rang dekhne ke baad (Poor Paro ran away after seeing your true colors)"

Khushi flushed, she looked at him who came and kept the ingredients on the kitchen counter beside her and whined, "Arnav ji stop teasing me.. I won't dare to repeat anything like this in future if you tease me again!"

Arnav chuckled pecking her red cheek, "Okay okay.. I won't tease you again! Hmm.. so tell me deal kya hai?"

"Simple si deal hai.. you remember I told you my friend's getting married next month, so I want you to accompany me to her wedding functions and I promise I'm never going to open mouth to tell everyone at home that you bathed Jebi," Khushi said flaunting her sweetest smile to her husband.

"Khushi I'll be busy with work.. aur waise bhi, what will I do at your friend's wedding functions?" Arnav rolled his eyes boringly.

"You'll be with me," she pouted.

"You can take anyone from our family with you too."

"So no deal?" she looked at him sharply.

Arnav sighed in defeat, "Okay deal!" Khushi smiled brightly, wiggling her eyebrows at him, "See I've learnt from the best person how to make deals that will benefit me at the end!"

Arnav made a sulking face as he took a knife from the knife block making Khushi laugh at his face, "Kya Arnav ji.. it will be fun, trust me!"

"Dare you leave me for long time to be with your friends during the functions."

"I won't leave you!" Khushi smiled finding him cute, she pinched his cheek, "Adi got his traits from his Dada only."

"Oh just wait till he finds out he has to attend a wedding where all the ladies will come to him only to pinch his cheeks and call him a cutie," Arnav said. Khushi chuckled lightly imagining her son sulking face just like his father.

After their deal making, Khushi finished making the breakfast which consisted of desi style omelette with pav, orange juice for her and the kids and black coffee for Arnav. Arnav put the sandwiches, snacks, some apples, grapes and bananas, juice, milk and water bottles in their picnic basket.

Khushi left the kitchen and went upstairs to call the kids for breakfast while Arnav set their breakfast table.

****************************************************************************

When Khushi reached in their room, she found Aashi and Adi dancing on the mattress to the tunes of their cartoons songs and Jebi excitedly running around them. She smiled emotionally watching them, leaning against the door thinking of the time when she gave birth to Adi, she was worried wondering how Aashi and Adi would bond with each other, if Aashi would feel jealous of her little brother, if she would feel less loved by her parents after Adi came in their lives, many thoughts were running on her mind that moment. She just wanted to make sure she makes her babies feel equally loved by her, to make sure Aashi doesn't feel that she would be partial towards Adi because he's her blood son. Fortunately for her and the whole family, Aashi was more than happy to welcome a new member home, she loved the idea of having a little brother to make her company, to play with her, to be her best friend. She would always help her whenever Adi used to be cranky or crying uncontrollably and even reminded her mother to check and change her baby brother's diapers.

"Mumma !" the two called her giggling in excitement. "Come dance with us.. com danshhh wi ush!"

She joined them and completely forgot what she came here for and started dancing with Aashi and Adi.

"Mumma.. call Da-da.. danshh wi ush!" Adi said while trying to copy his mother's dance steps.

"Little chocolate your Dada doesn't even know how to shake his hips to dance!" Khushi chuckled mockingly.

Aashi and Adi laughed out loudly in response. Jebi weak 'meeh' also sound like she was giggling at Arnav which made them laugh even harder.

************************************************************************

Paro who witnessed their dance party in the room came flying back downstairs to Arnav who got tired of waiting for them and decided to put Jebi's alfafa hay and Paro's seeds in two feeding bowls to serve them near their breakfast table on the floor.

"Kya hua chatterbox?" Arnav asked glancing at Paro who approached her bowl to attack her food, just like her best friend Khushi does!

"Khushi.. Kids.. Dance!" Paro informed him.

"Khushi is dancing with the kids?" Arnav asked. Paro nodded at him making him shake his head, "Unbelievable!"

"Unbelievably Sexy!" Paro spoke suddenly.

"What the.. stop flirting with me Paro!" he widened his eyes at their pet parrot before shouting calling his family downstairs.

Khushi, Aashi, Adi and Jebi came running downstairs when they heard Arnav's voice.

"So you guys were dancing and leaving me waiting here to eat?" he asked sitting on his chair. Aashi came jumping to his lap, he wrapped his arms around her and tickled her belly, "Even you Aashi.. you let Papa get hungry here!"

Aashi giggled, "Sorry Papa!"

Khushi glared at Paro knowing very well she's the one who shared this gossip with Arnav, "Are you like really my best friend Paro?"

Paro didn't reply eating her food silently. Khushi widened her eyes dramatically at Paro before sighing and taking her seat beside Arnav with Adi on her lap. Jebi ran towards her bowl of alfafa hays.

"Papa Mumma said you don't know how to shake your hips to dance. Is it true?" Aashi asked giggling.

Arnav narrowed his eyes at Khushi. She coughed at first, then shrugged, "What? Isn't it true?"

"No!" Arnav cleared his throat embarrassed, "I know how to dance.. It's just I don't like it much!"

"Oh Really?" Khushi raised her brows, smirking at him.  "Oh leali!" Adi mimicked his mother.

"Then you must show us with your dancing skills today! What say kids?" Khushi asked mischievously earning a dangerous glare from her husband.

"Yesss/Meeh" Aashi, Adi, Paro and Jebi agreed immediately.

"Koi dance wance nahi karunga main (I won't dance).. concentrate on your food everyone otherwise it will get cold," he said to everyone in scolding tone.

Everyone looked down to their plates suppressing their giggles.

**********************************************************************

After breakfast, Khushi was humming and singing her favorite song while washing machine did it work of washing their clothes. Paro was standing on top of the washing machine giving company to her friend.

"Aaj mausam hai suhana.. kapde dhaune ka hai bahana.."

"Lalalala," Paro sang, bobbing her head cutely.

"Kya dhoop nikli suhani..ho gayi kapdo ki-" Khushi stopped singing, glaring irked at the washing machine interrupting her song with the swooshing and clicking sounds it was producing.

"Safayi," Paro completed for her.

She sighed missing the old times, "You know Paro.. I miss the old times when I used to sing aaj mausam hai suhana happily and take out all my frustration by beating the wet clothes with paddle so hard.. it was so satisfactory..  nowadays this machine does the main work for me and doesn't even let me sing peacefully with it's noisy sounds."

"What the.. What the.. What the.." as if understanding Khushi was complaining about the machine, Paro sang loudly while stomping her feet on the machine as if she was punishing the machine for making her friend upset.

Khushi giggled at Paro's antics, she bend to kiss Paro's head affectionately. The two best friends decided to ignore the washing machine irking sounds and continued singing loudly as if to beat the sound of the washing machine.

"Hum toh hai deewane.. masti ke dhoonde bahane.."

"What the.. What the.. What the."

They literally shouted at the top of their voices the last few lines which startled Arnav who entered the room to get his book. He looked at the bathroom door shaking his head in disbelief and muttering to himself, "Dono pagal hai (Both are crazy)," and left from there.

*****************************************************************************

Arnav was lying on his beach lounge chair outside by the pool reading his book. He had placed his gym mat on the lawn next to his beach chair and spread out the toys for the children and Jebi to play there while he read and keep a watch on them.

Khushi and Paro came downstairs to the lawn to hang dry the clothes on the line. After she finished hanging the clothes, she joined Arnav lying beside him on his lounge chair, happily singing Aaj Mausam Hai Suhana song.

Arnav held his book with one hand while wrapping his other arm automatically around her waist, pulling her closer to him. Khushi rested her head on his shoulder and heard him complaining about her singing, "Shh.. aaj mausam hai suhana.. book padhne ka hai bahana.. don't disturb me lalala (the weather is good.. it's a perfect excuse to read a book)!"

"Arnav ji who reads books on a vacation trip?" Khushi whined, raising her head to look at his face.

"Me," he replied with his eyes glued on the page he was reading.

"Aaj mausam hai suhana," she sang then paused to peck his lips demanding his attention, Arnav frowned still not looking at her and she didn't give up, "Swami  ke saath romance karne ka hai bahana (a perfect excuse to romance with Swami)," she pecked his lips after the line smiling at him, the frowned on his face was slowly disappearing as his lips slowly curved into a smile as well, "What the.. what the.. what the.." she pecked him continuously and he finally give in to her demands, keeping his book aside, he responded to her kiss with a full blown smile spread over his lips.

Their romantic kiss moment got interrupted by the kids screaming in horror, "JEBIIII!"

They broke the kiss shocked to hear a splash loud sound and followed their kids gaze only to see Jebi who had fell into the swimming pool.

Arnav got down the lounge chair and rushed to jump in the pool and save Jebi while Khushi ran to take a towel worriedly. He brought her in his arms to sit on the lounge chair on his lap and Khushi wrapped the towel around Jebi to warm her up. Aashi and Adi came to sit with Arnav, caressing Jebi and whispering sweet nothings to her assuming she was scared and shocked herself. Paro settled herself on Arnav's shoulder to check on Jebi, singing Aaj Mausam Hai Suhana to calm her down.

"Jebi you okay? Your mother will kill me if something happens to you," Arnav cooing at her. Jebi let out a weak 'meeh' relaxing herself in Arnav's arms, snuggling more into him.

"Oh so someone is scared of Laxmi ji now!" Khushi chuckled, sitting behind him to rubbing his hair with towel to dry his hair.

Aashi and Adi giggled. "Da-da..shcall of Laksmi!" Adi said naughtily.

Arnav shook his head releasing Jebi from his arms, he asked the kids to go and play with her and also be careful to not let her fall into the pool again, instead of teasing him.

When the kids and their pets left, he turned to his wife accusingly, "Jiju was right! After marriage and babies, wives make a point of presenting their husbands as good-for-nothing men... but before marriage, they look at you like you're an irresistible alpha male!"

"Shyam bhaiya was wrong.. I fell in love with you and looked at you as if you're an irresistible alpha male after our marriage and we had a daughter, our Aashi in our lives too," Khushi smirked in victory as she won the argument and left him with no words to retort her.

He grumpily got up and walked away from there to change his drenched clothes. Khushi chuckled shaking her head slightly, "Grumpy chocolate!"

It was 3:00 pm when they reached Anjuna beach and the kids excitedly helped them spread out a piece of cloth on the sand where they arranged the picnic stuff they brought. Khushi placed her bags near the open umbrella buried into the sand.

Like Khushi promised to the kids, she convinced Arnav to play with them and he agreed to her after confirming her playing activities doesn't include dance in the list.

So their first round of the game consisted in a competition of two players to build the perfect sandcastle. They decided Arnav-Jebi, Khushi-Aashi and Adi-Paro would play the first round as a pair. Arnav was actually starting to make a mountain but Jebi was more interested in spoiling his hardwork by trying to eat the sand or sometimes kick her feet on the mountain he was making. He wasted more time scolding her not to eat sand and keeping her on his lap to prevent her from spoiling his mountain.

Paro was a good digging and carving tool to help Adi build his sandcastle but he himself was copying his mother and sister's steps to make a sandcastle, he started slapping the sand with his tiny hands giving up of this game when he got tired of making the mountain.

Khushi and Aashi proved to be the best team as the two with matching enthusiasm and practice build the perfect sandcastle at the end and became the winners of the first round. Khushi and Aashi hugged each other celebrating their victory. Arnav and Adi clapped for them smiling.

In the second round of the game, they had collect sea shells. The group who collected more sea shells would win the game. For the second round, Arnav-Aashi, Khushi-Paro and Adi-Jebi played together. This time little Adi and his best friend Jebi used their brain and speed to win the round, Adi took his toy bucket and Jebi her speed ability to collect the sea shells. Arnav and Aashi lost to Adi and Jebi for some sea shells.

Adi and Jebi only understood they won the game when their family started cheering for them. Adi smiled clapping for himself, then hugged his Jebi tightly. Khushi lifted her boy in her arms showering his face with sweet kisses proud of him.

And finally the third round of the game was a piggy back ride competition. This time, Khushi-Arnav, Aashi-Jebi, Adi-Paro would play the last round of the game.

Aashi picked Jebi in her arms as it would be difficult for her to carry Jebi on her back and Paro settled herself on Adi's shoulder. Khushi circled her arms around her husband's neck and wrapped her legs around his waist as they began the competition. Now running while lifting his wife on his back was baye hath ka khel (easy task) for him, so without any doubt Arshi won this round.

Khushi kissed his cheek when he left her to stand on her own, smiling broadly, "Thank you for making me win this game Chocolate!"

"What do you mean by you won this game? We won Khushi!" he looked at her confused.

"Haan we won this round but I won the game because I won the first round with Aashi and now this round with you," Khushi smiled cheekily.

Arnav shook his head in denial, "What.. you're a cheater.. this is not fair!"

"Yes it makes sense.. Mumma won the game!" "Mumma win!" "Khushi won!" "Meeeh meehh".

Arnav heard the immediate support pouring towards his wife. He sighed in defeat, pulling her closer to him by her waist, "Okay my vanilla ice cream won the game!"

Khushi chuckled, "Don't worry.. you'll have more chances to win because we're not done with the games yet!"

"No, I'm happy to lose as long as I keep winning something else from you!" he said with a lop sided smile, placing his index finger on his lips as an indication that he wanted kisses from her. Khushi blushed hard slapping his shoulder lightly.

After playing games, they rushed to their picnic set up to rest for a while. Then Khushi took Aashi and Adi to experience the beach waves touching their feet on the wet sand. Arnav joined them later with Jebi in his arms and Paro flying towards them, the four were enjoying playing with the beach water and the kids were jumping excitedly whenever the beach waves touched their feet.

Later they walked back to their picnic set up, Khushi and Arnav helped the kids changed their wet clothes and feed them sandwiches and fruits and gave them their juices to drink, they also feed Jebi and Paro their respective food, and only then they let Aashi, Adi, Jebi and Paro play with the toys they brought on the sand.

After taking care of the kids and their pets, it was their time to sit and relax on the beach. Khushi sat beside Arnav feeding him grapes while he lazily nuzzled her cheek making her smile shyly.

"You better eat first, then think of romance!" Khushi smiled handling him his sandwich.

Arnav took his sandwich from her hand as he teasingly reminded her, "Who said Aaj mausam hai suhana.. Swami ke saath romance karne ka hai bahana first?"

Khushi giggled, "Toh kya (So what).. I'm not denying anything, just saying for you to eat first.."

"Accha.." Arnav raised his eyebrows, he shifted his attention from her to his babies, Jebi and Paro playing on the sand and smiled lightly, "Is this the "Aap, main aur hamari chhoti si duniya (you, me and our small world)" moment you keep talking about?" he asked her.

Khushi followed his gaze and nodded her head with a faint smile, "Hmm.."

"I love this "Aap, main aur hamari chhoti si duniya" feeling.. and I love living this moment with you Khushi!" he looked back at her with a smile that reached his expressive chocolate brown eyes, she could see the twinkle glint of happiness in them.

"And I love you too Arnav ji!"  she nuzzled his nose smiling.
