" Avni....Avni...kahan kho gai hai yaar "  Riya said shaking my shoulder. I looked around and then realised that I'm in a restaurant with my friend Riya, who is now giving me death glare to again lost in my thought.

" Kya yaar jab dekho uske bare main sochti rehti ho.....meri toh koi value nehi hai " she pouts...my baby...she is my only friend and knows everything about me but she annoys me too much.

" Awwww.....I love you meri jaan but you know very well that what he mean to me " she sighed.

" Itna pyar karti hai usse " I smile and leaned back against the chair.

" Khud se bhi zyada " I took a deep breath closing my eyes...his smiling face came in my mind making my heart beat faster.

" Hayee....akhir pyar hota kya hai "  I chuckled and got up my seat. I came to the stage where a singer is singing without any feelings. I takes the microphone from his hand and stands on his place. I closed my eyes and starts singing.

     I still remember the day when we met after years. I was on a business party unaware of that this night will change my whole life.

   I saw him there and kept on looking at him. All the flashes of your college days came in front of me. We were classmates but we never talked apart from studies related things. I always had feelings for him but never accepted it and thought it's just a mere crush.

My business partner and his friend friend Ali introduce us who was totally unknown of the fact that we are not stranger to each other.

Flashback

" Avni meet my friend Neil and Neil she is my business partner Avni " Ali introduced us.

" Hi, after a long time " yeah after a long time we are seeing each other. He still have that effect on me, I thought it will faded with time, but no, he has the same effect on me that when we are in college.

" You know each other " Ali was surprised.

" Yeah, we were in same college and same class " Neil said. Hmmm...he still remember me. I smiled

I opened my eyes and looked towards Riya. She winked at me and indicates me to look at her right side. I looked at that direction and saw Neil is sitting there. He smiled making my heart beat faster. I starts singing again looking into his eyes.

I stopped and everyone clapped for me including Neil. I came to my seat.

" Kya baat hai...bina kahe sab kuch bata dia " Riya said. I sighed.

" Par unse kabhi samjha hi nehi " I said looking at Neil.

" Are samajh jayega warna main use achhe se majha dungi achhe se " I chuckled....

" You sang really well " I heard Neil's voice. I lifted my head and saw Neil is standing infront of me. I smiles  and gestures him to sit. He sat infront of me.

" Achhi toh hogi na uski dil ki jo awaz thi " I glared at Riya. She never leave a chance to embarrass or tease me infront of him.

" Dil ki baat hai toh dil main bhi zaroor koi hoga " Neil said raising his eyebrows.

" Asa kuch nehi hai.... Riya ki toh adat hai majak karna " I elbowed Riya's stomach under the table.

" Ahh " Riya whined

" Kya hua " Neil asked Riya.

" Ku..kuch nehi " She said rubbing her stomach and then glared at me.

" Tum yahan kese " I asked Neil

" Ek project ke silsile main mere ek dost se milne aaya tha aur dekho coincidentally tum bhi yahan ho " Neil said. I don't know it's coincident or destiny but we are meant to be together.

" Wese main tumse hi milne jane wala tha " I was about to spit my drink but control and clears my throat.

" Achhaa  " I glared at Riya.

" Mujhse milne....koi kam tha " I took a sip and holds the glass under the table.

" I'm going to engaged and I want you come in my engagement "  No....no.. this can't be happened..he.... he can't do this to me.....he is only mine.... He can't marry someone else... My head is spinning

     Riya holds my free hand and rubs her thumb on back of my hand. Only she can understand my situation, how I'm feeling now, what is happening inside me. I holds the glass more tightly and composed myself.

" Do you love her " I applied more pressure on the glass but it is not breaking. I want it to break and pricked into my skin.... finally it broke and blood drips from my hand but it's not paining at all or should I say it's nothing compared to the pain which he is giving me

   Riya saw my bleeding hand but I stopped her to react. I don't want Neil to know about this.

" No, it's an arrange  marriage " my heart felt relief.....He don't love her... And he can't.... You will only marry me Neil....you are mine and  I will make you mine soon.

" Co... congrats Neil " I don't know how that words came out of my mouth.

" Thank you aur tum zaroor aana..Riya tum bhi " I gave a fake smile and Riya rolled her eyes.

" Ok, bye guys "

" Bye " he left and a tear drop fell on my cheek.

" Avni....yeh kya kia tumne " Riya said showing my wound. I was about to say but she stopped me.

" Chup...bilkul chup....ab tum chup chap mere sath hospital chalo and I don't want any excuse " she yelled at me like a mother. She paid the bill and dragged me to the parking lot. We sat inside the car. She starts driving.

" Ab bhul jao use " she said concentrating on road.

" Kabhi nehi " I looks out the window

" Wo kisi aur se shadi karne wala hai Avni "   she suddenly applied the brake

" Shadi hui nehi hai abhi tak aur wo use pyar nehi karta " she shook her head

" Toh ab kya karne wali ho tum " she crossed her hand over her chest

" Kuch nehi bas ghar jake sona hai " I laughed and she frowned. She again starts driving

" Jo bhi karna soj samajh kar karna Avni... main nehi chahati ki uske wajah se tumhe taklib ho " I smiled.

We reached at hospital and a nurse dressed my wound then Riya dropped me to my house.

" Take care " she said braking the hug. I blinked my eyes and came out of car. She drove back to her place and I came to my room.

   I smiles looking at Neil's picture. My whole room is filled with his pictures. I laid on bed and opened my phone's gallery. His pic appears on my mobile's screen.

" I love you Neil "  I kissed his pic.
