Seven Years Later....

    Rose gold chiffon drapes swayed with the breezy wind as the open double-hung windows brought nothing but radiance and sparkle into the enormous space.

Cream beige walls were painted to perfection as paper flower art were beautifully decorated throughout the aesthetic nursery.

Sienna's chocolate brown orbs held nothing but warmth and light, admiring the beautiful nursery made for her baby girls.

She had waited and prayed for this moment for seven years, and after a long battle towards parenthood, Sienna and Zahaan were soon going to welcome their little miracles from heaven.

After Sienna and Zahaan had gotten married seven years ago, they worked on their relationship throughout.

When Sienna and Zahaan fell in love, they were young and naive.

They both made decisions based on what they thought was right at that moment, some decisions which even led them to be in pain and heartbreak for years.

But throughout their marriage, the duo grew in their relationship in all aspects and truly became soulmates in every sense.

Their journey towards parenthood was another story in its self; it was one of the toughest struggles the duo faced because even though Sienna's tumor was all gone and she had faced no recurrence.

Due to heavy radiational therapy, it became harder for her to conceive, but over time Sienna and Zahaan kept their faith strong, and just like always, God granted them another miracle.

Their little girls, their fraternal twin daughters. The day Sienna found out she was pregnant, she cried and cried to her heart's content.

She felt as if all her prayers had been answered, and since then, the past nine months of Sienna and Zahaan's lives were filled with nothing but love and light.

Lost in her thoughts, Sienna's trance broke apart as she felt a pair of strong arms encircling her swollen belly from behind. His chin on her shoulder as he gently grazed his full beard across her supple rosy cheeks.

Zahaan felt nothing but bliss, holding the three most important souls of his life in his secure arms. He would forever be thankful to God for giving him his Ana back because his life was truly incomplete without her.

Gently turning around, Sienna's chocolate brown orbs clashed with Zahaan's velvet black iris. Their orbs reflected the essence of their pure love, and at that moment, they sealed their fate with a tender kiss just like they did seven years ago.

And so, after breaking apart from their breathtaking kiss, Sienna spoke the beautiful truth of their lives.

"Z, I can't wait to hold our baby girls in our arms; thank you for loving me and being the best part of our lives. Ana is truly nothing without her Z."

"And Z is nothing without his Ana. I love you to the moon and back, Ana; my world is incomplete without you three."

And just as a beautiful day had begun, it soon had ended. The horizon had set, and the night had emerged amongst the brightest of stars.

Sienna and Zahaan were snuggled in each other's embrace in the safety of their bedroom, as the two reminisced over all the sweet moments in their life.

But before they could dwell on their thoughts any longer, an audible gasp from Sienna halted their precious moment.

"Z, I think it's time."

"Huh? Time for what, Ana?"

Sienna wanted to bang her head on the wall hearing Zahaan's oblivious question. But as much as she wanted to strangle her husband, she knew she had to reach the hospital soon as her contractions were increasing with each passing minute.

And so, taking deep breaths and calming herself down, Sienna spoke her next words.

"Zahaan freaking Siddiqui, my water just broke, and it's time for our girls to come. So I need you to get the car ready and take me to the hospital right now before you have to help me deliver our baby girls right here."

Upon hearing her words, Zahaan's orbs instantly filled with panic and joy.

And so, scramming through his room and gathering everything he needed, the duo paved their way to the hospital.

After twelve hours of intense labor pain and contractions, Sienna and Zahaan welcomed their beautiful baby girls.

Sayna Ana Siddiqui and Naira Ana Siddiqui were perfect in every sense.

They both held the essence of their mama and baba, and Sienna and Zahaan knew they would forever treasure their precious gifts from above.

Sienna's coffee brown orbs clashed with Zahann's onyx iris. Each breath they took was filled with nothing but peace and serenity, and at that moment, their eyes spoke more words than they could ever say.

And they knew in their hearts that their little world was finally complete.

Just like the four seasons of the year, time flashed by with a blink of an eye, and it was soon Sayna and Naira's first birthday.

Each nook and cranny of their luxurious home was elegantly decorated to perfection for their daughters birthday.

Soon it was time for the girls to celebrate their special day with their family and friends.

All the guests had arrived, and everyone anticipated the wait of the beautiful little girls.

Sayna and Naira were dressed in a blush pink chiffon dress embellished with glitter shimmer throughout.

Their coffee brown orbs glimmered under the beautiful fluorescent moon as their silky chestnut brown hair danced with the soft wind.

The duo looked no less than princesses, and everyone at the party was awestruck by the beautiful girls.

However, along with everyone else, four pairs of innocent orbs were admiring the two little girls from afar.

Jahan Azad and Aaban Yasin were speechless, looking at the beautiful girls in front of them. They were always mesmerized by the twin sisters and had promised to always protect and cherish them.

And even though the four innocent souls were very young and knew no matters of the heart, who knew what destiny had in store for them in the future.

The evening passed by in a blur, and the party was in full swing. The birthday girls were truly enjoying their day, and that brought nothing but joy and happiness within their parents' hearts.

Sienna and Zahaan were truly blessed and grateful for every phase of their lives; their life nor their story was perfect, God tested them in every way possible, but their endless and pure love brought them through every test.

Their story was unique, one in a million as their fates were written together from above a thousand years ago.

They were a match made in heaven, and rightfully so because, in the end, Zahaan was truly Sienna's Khwahish; he was truly her wish amongst the brightest of stars.

Hey, My Loves!

I just wanted to write a quick author's note thanking each one of you for all the love and support you have shown Khwahish!

Khwahish will forever be one of my most cherished stories, and I will truly miss writing about Sienna and Zahaan.

I hope I have done justice to the storyline and characters, and I hope you all truly enjoyed this beautiful story.

I'm truly grateful for each one of you, and I can't thank you all enough for giving my book a chance!
