Recap: Laksh agreed to stay. There is an unknown feeling inside him, but he isn't staying for himself he is staying for Ragini to give her support.
Laksh was changing his clothes, he checked the room and felt awkwardly. Oh God I don't know what to do with my time. I'm alone and bored as soon as I'm with them they start to brainwash me, telling me, that I'm their Laksh. I showed them pictures of me and my family. He felt bad, "I'm missing them." The hardest thing in life, losing the one's you love. I will help the pure soul Ragini, to find her Laksh.
Ragini was in her room, she was trying to sleep and forgot about it, but it wasn't possible. Who is he and why is he here? Who sent him and where is my Laksh? The cold breeze of the window flow through the room. Oh no, he must be freezing, it's an empty room. She stood up and looked around, if there is something she could give him.
Laksh was in the washroom, *brrr* he brushed the his teeth and immediately hide under the duvet, when he heard a very low sound of knocking.
"No, who is this now? I don't want to stand up and open the door. Even the floor feels cold..." he said it to himself under the duvet. Again a knock and he pouts, "fine. I hope for the one it's important." Each steps gave him a shiver of coldness.
Laksh opens the door, he was perplexed seeing her in front of him, while the rest of the family was sleeping.
"Aap {polite You}." The shock was audible through his voice.
Ragini lowers her gaze, "sorry. I know it's quite late, but they room is..." she couldn't, "here." She just stretched her arm and the thick blanket was in front of him.
"Is that for me?" He asked surprised and she lightly nodded her head. A sudden turn of her makes him feel hurt, he doesn't wanted to stay or give her pain.
"It's a guest room and rarely used. That's why I brought a duvet for you." Ragini was about to leave, when he hold her wrist, only three fingers of his on the delicate skin, "Ragini I'm really very sorry."
Ragini was numb, her blood stopped to flow through her body, her heart stopped to beat for nano second, her eyes filled up with tears, he loosen the grip of her wrist, "I promise to help you, to find Your Laksh."
Ragini didn't gave him a last look, she just left the room.
Laksh put the duvet over his shoulders, "Thank God she came with it, otherwise I would be death."
Ragini closed the door, she rested her head on the door and cried holding her wrist. She didn't know what was going on, but her tears were flowing down her cheeks. She didn't know, when the night turned into the next morning, she had fallen asleep on the cold ground of her room, her shoulder was aching, but she managed it.
Everyone was waiting for them, they were looking to the stairs, whilst waiting for them.
Ragini wore a simple yellow Kurta and a blue jeans. She was coming down and all were surprised to see her in this modern outfit.
Laksh woke up late, he yawns and stretches his arms in the air. "Uff what a night. I'm totally wet of sweat." He felt disgusted and rushed into the washroom. He was coming, well running down the stairs as he was hungry.
"Good Morning," Laksh said waiting for a response, but they were still in shock because of Ragini.
Laksh shrugs, he sat on an empty chair and was looking at the dishes, "don't you have meat?"
All the attention was on him. Just then Ragini comes out and he was pouting seeing the dull table, "what is this? No, smoked salmon or sausages? What should I eat?"
"Laksh," a soft loving voice called him.
"Yes Maa," initially he said it.
AP smiled, "haan I'm your Maa."
Laksh frighten, "no, I'm sorry. I didn't meant it. Well actually the way you called me it reminded me on my mother."
AP's eyes moisture, "we are vegetarian," she said in a low voice hiding her pain.
Laksh felt bad, he didn't looked at her, only on his empty plate. Damn, I didn't meant to hurt her, but the sweet way of calling my name reminds on my mother.
Ragini saw him from the kitchen, she took a deep breath and all her strength together, "Laksh." Her voice was firm, yet is shows authority.
Laksh looked at her, he thought she might avoid him again, but she was standing there in those modern clothes, "yes Ragini?" He smiles with narrowed brows.
"Get up!" She said and he slightly frighten, "Uhm okay. Why?"
"I said get up!" Her voice become louder and Laksh stood up without uttering a word.
Ragini's expression was stern, "we will have our breakfast outside not at home. Come." She said and passed him.
Laksh confused more, he just nodded and followed her silently like a good boy, who is hell scared of the consequences if he disobeys.
The family smiled, "finally Ragini will caught his lie. Then no one will be able to help him, she won't spare him." Swara said and Sanskaar nodded, "Haan Lucky toh gaya {He is gone!}."
Ragini and Laksh were at alone, she went to a nearby cafe and Laksh was happy, his stomach was calling for food, "I can order what I want?" He asked just to be sure as he is still confused what her idea is.
"Yes, just order what you want." Ragini sat on the chair and Laksh followed her, both were sitting opposite to each other and the waiter came to take their orders.
It didn't took long and Laksh finished the food, he was happy as he could eat what he wanted.
"I love smoked salmon with mustard 🤤 I was scared they won't let me eat it and beat me."
Ragini smiles, for the first time after they met.
"Wow you should keep smiling." Laksh said in a friendly way.
"Thanks," Ragini said, but before he could reply she cut him off, "thanks for proving me that you are NOT my Laksh."
Laksh looked at her, this time he smiled, "that is what I'm saying all the time. I'm not the Laksh you are looking... I means searching for."
Ragini nodded, "yes, because if you would be my Laksh then you would have scold me."
Now Laksh frowns, "why would he?"
Ragini shook her head, "it's because of our past. We both changed for good, but we aren't an example to follow. Yet we belong together."
Laksh confused, "I don't understand it. Can you explain me?"
Ragini looked at him, she starts to share her past with him.
Laksh was numb, he didn't said anything and they went back home, where the whole family was waiting for them.
"We don't need the test result, we know you are our Laksh."
Ragini felt bad, so did Laksh.
"Why aren't you understanding it, I'm not your Laksh." He said to Sanskaar, who was holding it, the envelope from the labour.
"Please give me the envelope I will prove, who I am."
