Moving In
True to his word, people had indeed begun to pour into number twelve Grimmauld Place.
"Please, call me Tonks" the pretty woman said, her hair turning the same color as Krystal's new sneakers. "Nice trainers."
"Thanks I picked them up a while back and had been meaning to wear them for the longest." She said as she looked down at the bright red converse. "Cool hair." Krystal commented.
"Thanks I love changing it up every once on a while." Tonks admitted with a mischievous grin.
Next came Remus Lupin who was just a tad bit stiff, guessing this had something to do the fact that tonight is the full moon.
"I can't believe everyone's coming back and then some." Lupin said a small smirk but a shake of his head in disbelief.
"We all knew he would rise again, unfortunately we still don't know when, now we have a new enemy, the very people who are suppose to be protecting us are blind with greed and power." Sirius spat.
"They may have the titles and people backing them but I can assure you they will never be able to control Hogwarts." Krystal put in.
The Weasley's and Hermione arrived shortly after and Krystal went out to greet them.
"Oi Krystal's here!" Fred stated happily.
"I live here, what's your excuse?" She teased playfully before hugging the twins.
"Mum, Dad this is Krystal Montgomery one of our closest friends from school." George said kindly.
"Yeah we don't even mind that she a prissy little girl." Fred put in.
Krystal politely shook hands with Mr and Mrs Weasley before Sirius and Lupin joined everyone.
"I've had Kreacher clean up the rooms so please, make yourselves at home and don't hesitate to ask Kreacher for anything." Sirius sounded.
After She helped with the luggage Krystal went into the girls room.
"I'm so glad your here." Ginny said as she hugged Krystal.
"Me too, I was worried about the state of the place when Mrs Weasley told us we were going to be staying at Sirius Blacks house." Hermione admitted.
"Hey no worries, Sirius is sweet and very helpful." Krystal confessed, "had you come a few months back you would have met a less than friendly Kreacher though."
The boys joined soon and the large room was filled with friendly talking.
"So Krys, how's Cedi-boy?" Fred asked.
His question had caused everyone to quiet their own conversations and Krystal knew everyone was listening in now. "He's doing fine, I actually had Ice Cream today on mine and his lunch breaks."
"So why do you sound like your going to break up with him?" Fred asked.
"Oh your not breaking up with the poor bloke again are you?" George asked.
"No," she chuckled slightly. "No we are perfectly fine I'm just having a hard time trying to figure out if I should tell him about all of this."
Everyone stayed silent so she continued.
"This lifestyle being part of the Order of the Phoenix, it's exciting and we're trying to do so many good things and save the lives of innocent people." Krystal said with a smile as She saw both Mrs Weasley and Tonks enter the room, then she let her smile fall. "But it's secretive and slightly deceptive and most of all it's dangerous. The old Order put their lives on hold and even on the line to protect our world from the death eaters and Voldemort."
Everyone but Hermione flinched from hearing the name being spoken so boldly.
"Look I know he's bound to find out eventually and knowing Cedric he's going to be more than upset with me for keeping it from him and lying. But I know his character as well, Cedric's a hero through and through, and sadly in the Order sometimes HEROS DIE."
"Time for dinner everyone." Mrs Weasley said, her words slightly caught in her throat.
"I think your smart not to want to tell him." Ginny said, "if I could protect the guy I love I would do it even if it means lying to him."
"But don't you miss him?" Tonks asked, "if you told him he could come and stay here, he'd be part of The Order as well then you'd see him all the time."
Krystal smiled, "and that's where rationality meets selfishness." Krystal confessed with a heavy sigh. "I do want him here, but I also want him safe."
"What would you two do?" She asked both Tonks and Ginny.
"The guy I love doesn't want to be with me in fear that he himself will hurt me." Tonks voiced sadly.
"And don't ask me." Ginny put in solemnly, "the guy I love doesn't even notice me."
Krystal gave them sad smiles, "give them time." She offered. "Sometimes it takes a while to see what's right in front of us, also men are very stubborn creatures so have patience."
. . . . .
After dinner Dumbledore arrived to fill everybody in. "Of course while under watch we must go about our daily lives, those with jobs please continue to go and if anyone else leaves the house I beg that you please disapparate from within the house and apparate right back in, if you are seen on the steps of the headquarters the ministry is bound to piece things together and I have no doubt they will try an say we are building a rebellion."
"And what about Harry?" Mrs Weasley worried out loud.
"Unfortunately Harry and Myself are being tailed." Dumbledore admitted. "But unlike myself Harry can not just sneak off whenever he likes so I am having two of our own people keep an eye out on him to keep him out of harms way."
"So he doesn't even know what's going on?" Lupin asked.
"No, and it's actually better that he doesn't know." Professor Dumbledore announced. "Which brings up another subject. Letters, Krystal can you please explain the owls."
Krystal got up nervously as everyone's eyes were now on her.
"All of our owls will more than likely be under surveillance so be mindful what you write, this holds true even more so with any owls going to and from Harry, we know for a fact that all of his mail will be intercepted so if you must write to him do not mention The Order, Sirius, Professor Dumbledore or the ministry of magic." She trailed off, "I personally suggest writing as little as possible just so you don't run the of unknowingly revealing anything that can be used against us and upsetting Harry."
"Upsetting Harry, how are we going to do that?" Ron questioned.
"Right now Harry is more than likely having a miserable time with his Aunt Uncle and cousin all the while he's probably assuming we're all having a grand time over the summer." Krystal said, "and he knows that you lot get together during the summer, but this summer you've not asked him to come and stay with you. His imagination's going to get the better of him and he will feel like he's abandoned by everybody. So be careful what you write, you don't want to make it sound like your rubbing it in his face that he's not here."
