When they got back to Hogwarts Krystal was immediately stopped by a loud crack.

"Dobby?" She asked slightly startled and a little amused at the sight if the watery eyes house elf.

"Oh miss Krystal, Dobby has been waiting for miss Krystal to return. Mister Cedric has given Dobby a letter to give to miss Krystal."

Krystal crossed her arms before she held out her hand for the note, she opened it and was surprised at what she saw. The note only contained three words.

'I'm So Sorry.'

"He did it." She whispered sadly.

He didn't try and deny it, he didn't go into detail about what really happen, just I'm sorry.

"Dobby, I'm gonna go up to my room and get somethings but I want you to go back to Cedric and tell him to meet me at the usual spot."

"Yes miss Krystal, Dobby can so this." He agreed before popping away.

Krystal went up to the girls room and removed the necklace and grabbed the pensive bowl, as well as every single thing Cedric had ever given her or belonged to him. She stormed out of the room and strode straight up to the room of requirements, she seemed to arrive first.

Krystal paced in front of the wall requesting a boring place to talk, and when a door finally appeared she opened it and was glad to find the dull looking room. It was small, two uncomfortable looking high back chairs, one coffee table, and now Cedric's things strewn about along the table.

Krystal took a seat and didn't have to wait long before Cedric arrived.

"Darling please allow me to apologize." He said as he entered the room, he looked around a bit in confusion to see that this wasn't there normal room of plush couches and romantic candles. then he noticed the look on Krystal's face as well as the items she seemed to have brought with her. "I know I missed valentines day but are you really so mad as to do all of this?" He asked.

She looked at him sharply, "you think I'm upset about you not showing up for the Hogsmeade trip?"

"Well yeah, I mean I sent a note with your house elf friend, did he not give it to you?"

"Cedric this is so much bigger than a damned trip to a ruddy tea shop on a stupid, and overly celebrated day!" Krystal shouted, "is it true?"

Now Cedric was truly lost, "what in Merlin's beard are you talking about?"

"Oh I'm not just talking about it...the whole school is talking about it...how you and Gertrude were caught having sex by Snape."

His eyes bugged out of his head, "that's a bloody lie!"

Krystal looked at Cedric and he stared back at her before he sighed in a slight defeat. "Well it's not the entire truth."

Tears began to prick at Krystal's eyes, "so there IS some truth to it?"

"Well lately we've been kind of distant and no matter how hard I try you always seem busy so I turned to a friend and someone I had been spending a lot of time with due to scheduling." He admitted

"Gertrude."

He nodded, "yes Gertrude, and I'll have you know that she never talked ill of you or tried anything on me like you might think, and maybe it was her kindness that lead to me kissing her one night while on patrols."

Krystal sat still, silently.

"Yes we were caught by Snape, and I guess because she's in Slytherin he didn't get after her as harshly, but I got a couple days detention with him."

"Someone mentioned you had been stripped of the captain title of your house team?" She asked.

He shook his head, "after that happened I felt like utter rubbish so after apologizing to Gertrude I decided to do anything to make US work, so I quit the team in hopes that we could have some more time to spend together."

Now Krystal felt horrible and her tears fell.

"Darling what's wrong?"

"I-I, well...ikissedgeorge." Krystal rushed out wetly.

"Darling I can't understand you." He sighed.

She took in a deep breath and looked him straight in the eye, "I kissed George."

"You did what?" He asked angrily, "I can't believe you Krystal!"

"Oh like you're one to yell!" She replied hotly, "at least I acted in anger to what I had heard, you had no excuse, you kissed another girl just to kiss her, you cheated on me and I merely reacted."

"I can't believe you're seriously trying to justify your wrong doing." He laughed a humorless laugh.

She crossed her arms over her chest, "well I guess two wrongs don't make a right and I guess maybe we just aren't meant to be together."

Her words had filled the room thickly, silence fell and neither of them moved.

"Do you mean that?" Cedric asked, his head cast down, his voice a bit weak.

"I don't know." She admitted sadly, "I love you, you're my first boyfriend and we've been through so much that it seems wrong to just throw everything away."

He looked up at her hopefully.

"I don't want to break-up with you...I'm tired of that Krys." He said and genuinely sounded tired now.

"I love you Cedric."

He stepped forward and pulled her into a tight hug.

"And I will always love you Krystal, just do me one favor." He said as they pulled away from the hug, "don't go getting with another guy just yet, I don't think I can stand to watch you snogging some bloke."

"So this is it?" She asked sadly.

He smiled ad kissed the top of her head, "I don't think it will ever truly be 'it' for us...but I think if things will ever work for us in the future we need to take some time apart, and yeah...we've got face that we may find other people to be with."

Krystal sighed, she knew he was right. She looked up at him and touched his handsome face one last time and smiled, "If you and I find our selves singe again, come back to me?"

"Deal." He nodded before he placed a sweet and loving kiss goodbye on her lips.

Neither one wanted the kiss to end, but both of them knew it was time to go.

"H-here's, well...heres all the stuff you've given me."

"Keep it." He shrugged. "It's not goodbye forever Montgomery." He smirked and walked out of the room of requirements.

She smiled, 'Montgomery' is what the members of the Order usually call her.

Krystal waited a moment before she gathered everything she had (dramatically) brought with her, giving the room one last look. The room of Requirements would now be the DA Headquarters for her, nothing more, nothing less and she felt alright with that decision.

She made her way down to the Great Hall just in time for dinner, she took a seat between Katie and Alicia.

"So what's up Krys...you know, nasty word about Ced-"

Krystal cut Katie off, "just rumors" she smiled, "Cedric would never do anything like that."

Katie and Alicia looked at her before Angelina walked in with the Weasley twins and Ginny.

"Why are you so happy?" Angelina grumbled, she had been extremely irritable since Gryffindors loss to Ravenclaw.

"Just finally cleared some stuff up." She smiled as she allowed her gaze to travel to that of George's, he gave her a slight side smirk.

"So what's up with all this Cedric and Gertrude news?" She asked pointedly as she helped herself to the first dish of food she could reach.

"Well we talked about it and it turns out none of what people are saying is true."

"Well some of it's gotta be true, I mean everyone who plays Quidditch knows he's not playing anymore." She added.

"He quit the team, to spend more time with me." Krystal confessed.

"That's idiotic." Fred sounded.

Krystal shrugged, "doesn't really matter now...we've decided to take a break."

They all stopped what they were doing and looked at her for explanation.

"Like I said, we talked and we figured out that while we love each other...we are just better off as friends right now." Krystal informed them all. "As for Quidditch I'm sure he can get his position back, Professor Sprout hardly looks like she's one to hold a grudge, plus with the Quidditch cup coming up and all, Hufflepuff will need all the help they can get."

"I'm sure you two will be back together in two weeks." Alicia spoke up playfully trying to lighten the mood.

Krystal only smirked, "we'll see."
