It was during the break after the Calvary Battle. We see Izuku along with Komori and her friends, Kendo, and Setsuna.

They were enjoying themselves until someone put a hand on Izukus shoulder.

He instantly grabbed the hand in a vice-grip. Only to see that it was his "sister". He let go of her hand and held it a bit in pain.

Izuku: What do you want?
He asked with his back turned

Izumi: I want to make a wager with you.
She declared.

Izuku: A wager? And what the hell do you have that I would want?

Izumi was about to say something only to realize that....he was right. She had nothing that would be of any worth to him.

Izuku: I'll take that silence as you don't have anything. Now leave.
He said with a demanding tone.

While she walked away with tears starting to fall from her eyes.

Komori got up saying that she had to go get something.

After a few seconds Setsuna looked at Izuku who was drinking some water.

Setsuna: Hey Izuku I have a question...

He hummed telling her that he was listening.

Setsuna: Do you have feelings for Komori?~

She got elbowed by Kendo telling her that it's private. While izuku just raised a brow.

Izuku: I'm afraid I don't understand what you mean.

She and Kendo looked at him a bit like he was stupid. Until she said...

Setsuna: You know....like a crush towards her?

He met his gaze with the dark greenette. And looked at her with a look of confusion and a frown. Still not understanding fully what she is talking about.

Kendo: She means romantic feelings like love.

This got him curious, in both his past and current life he has never felt feelings for anyone at all. Not even for Aphrodite even when she uses every form of seduction she can think of on him.

Izuku: What is Love?

Both girls jaws just dropped. They're looking at a walking brick of muscle who has abs on abs. And yet he doesn't know what love is? This was going to be difficult for them.

Setsuna: Well....love is when...it's...uhhh

Kendo: Let me take over before you fry your brain. Now Izuku, have you ever noticed that when you are nearby Komori, or especially when your right by one another your heart beat increases.

Izuku only nodded while his gaze was on her.

Kendo: And whenever someone talks bad about her you want to beat them to a bloody pulp?

Again he nodded remembering how when Bakugou had made a threat to harm her his anger got the better of him. And wanted nothing more than to kill him.

Kendo: In simple terms love is when you have strong feelings for someone else, and you want to protect them, to become something more than just friends.

Izuku's eyes widen a bit at the realization.....it was love. Thats why he felt so strange around her. But yet love and dating were practically unknown waters to even him.

Izuku: Then how do I go about it?

This made both girls raise a brow at him.

Izuku: How does one confess their feelings to one another?
He asked bluntly.

The girls didn't know how to answer this sort of question but yet tried their best.

Kendo: Well it's not something you just flat out do immediately. You would have to wait for the right moment. How about this, you ask her out on a date after the festival? And then after said date if you still feel strange around her then you confess your feelings for her?

Izuku nodded while taking all that information in.

Izuku: Thank you very much.
He said with gratitude but in a monotone tone as he stood up and left.

The girls were a bit stunned by this as Setsuna looked at Kendo.

Setsuna: Since when do you give dating advice?

Kendo: Ok firstly that was hardly advice. Secondly, all I did was basically give him an answer to his question.

As that was happening we see Izuku who was walking through the halls trying to find Komori.

Izuku: (Is that what these weird feelings have been? Love?)

After a minute he found her and walked up to her.

Komori: Oh hey Izuku, how can I help you?

Izuku: Actually I was wondering if you'd like to.....

Komori: If I'd like to....?

Izuku took a deep breath....

Izuku: I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date with me after the festival?

Komori was blushing madly at the fact that Izuku was literally asking her out. Even though she was hoping for something like this it was just the suddenness that caught her by surprise.

Little did the two know that two other girls were looking at them from around the corner. You can pretty much guess who those are.

Both: (Please say no, please say no!)

Komori: Sure Izu, I would love to.

This brought a small smile on his face. And nodded as they both left. While the two around the corner were crying both tears of jealously and in sadness.

They came back to the arena to see almost all the girls in class 1-A wearing cheerleader outfits which greatly confused them. But Izuku already had an idea that it was Minetas doing. Which he is wondering if the class would notice a missing student for the next few months.

He heard an announcement calling him and another by the name of Hitoshi Shinso to the arena. Which Komori gave a good luck to him.
