Hope you enjoy

////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

(Sora's POV)

My parents didn't mind the fact I was quirkless

I had thought that proved just how much they cared for me.

Looking back at it seems like I was wrong

I was born with a large amount of luck and mana

They never found out about the mana though

The doctor that had declared me quirkless was the same man who explained everything about mana to me, and had begged me not to tell anyone

I thought my parents would be angry about the fact I was quirkless, and they were for a while

Until a certain day, I snuck out with some of my parent's money and bought a lottery ticket, I was told if they had it, they would be very happy

After buying and showing it to them they were pretty mad at me, but that changed the moment they won the lottery

At first, they had thought it to be an accident

But they started to notice that wherever I was, good things happened

They started to call me a miracle child and showered me with all sorts of expensive gifts and affection

Of course, that was until my luck ran out

I have a belief- a theory really, the world is in perfect balance, if something happens to disrupt that balance, acting forces will take countermeasures to return the balance

That said, using that logic, if lots of good things happen, bad things will happen in that same measure to return balance

Terrible things happened, my father got tuberculosis, my mother had a leg amputated due to an infection, and so much more

Yet, nothing happened to me

They blamed it all on me and called me a demon, a pathetic quirkless and eventually kicked me out

I started to live in the mountains, surviving on plants with the help of the spirits

That was where I met a man planting a huge Butterbur field, Usui Horokeu, Horohoro

Because of him, I actually felt accepted..

I met people I can call friends..

People who care about me..

But after this, I can never again call anyone the word 'father'
