Shortened Summary: Sylvia and Rudi jump back into action when Unova needs them, despite their own desires, once again proving them to be selfless heroes.

Review: After reading the first installment in last year's PWAs, I was excited to see the sequel when it was posted, and even more so when it entered my category again this year. I'll keep this as spoiler free as possible, but be warned if you haven't read the first story yet that I will probably say something on it since this is the sequel. Without giving away the ending to this one, I will say it was shocking to me and really well written. In an effort to keep this concise, I'll cover events in this story quickly.

For one, it handles the side characters well and gives them depth, development and personality without taking away from the main storyline (like Rena). While the main protagonists are being more developed, so are some of the old side cast while adding in new people and giving them depth. Even if you don't like some of them (*cough cough* Nox can still die *cough*) they also have their motives, something not even the best of media can get right all the time. Despite having a bit of an untraditional method of telling the story (switching POVs every few chapters for instance) it is told well and the unconventional chapters work surprisingly well within the larger story. I won't say much more on it as it is worth a read, it does have another installment so lead up to that is to be expected. This foreshadowing is also done well and makes me excited for the next one (although even the author says she has to recover after this sequel). It is a series I highly recommend and anticipate more of in the future.
