Epilogue

~ ~ Ivy ~ ~

~ ~ Nine Months later ~ ~

The knock on the door had my eyes springing open and my head lifting from the pillow.

It was eight already?

Ugh. Looking over at the guys. They were still in the land of nod. Lucky buggers.

Another knock had me hauling my ass from the bed. I swiped up Alex's t-shirt from the floor and dragged it over my head, letting it drop to just below my ass.

I answered the door, biting back a yawn and blowing a curl from my eyes. "Room-service," said a pretty girl, smiling at me, pushing her round glasses up her nose.

Moving aside, she came into our room, wheeling in our breakfast. I heard her gasp when her eyes fell on the bed.

I smiled inwardly wondering what she must be thinking.

But surely she must have seen worse things than a hotel room with one bed, two naked guys and one sexy-ass black woman?

Or maybe it was Alex's impressive erection proudly tenting through the thin sheet barely covering him.

I moved past her, stopping to put my finger under her chin, closing her mouth. "Yes, they're both mine," I sighed. "I wore them out."

Her cheeks flushed as she looked at me in awe. It was cute. "You can leave breakfast here." I said, my eyes now busy searching the floor. It was like a bomb had gone off. We'd been in such a rush in our excitement to get naked that our clothes ended up all over the place.

Ah, there's my bag. I picked it up and searched inside for my purse. Finding it, I pulled out a twenty and handed it over.

"Thank you," as her eyes wistfully looked over at the guys again. I couldn't blame her for taking a second look.

She let herself out and shut the door.

Oh, you might wonder why we were in a hotel room?

Well, this week we had hit our one-year milestone. Yeah, we made it an entire year. I still couldn't believe it. The first few months I'd waited for that other Prada to drop. To wake up and feel different.

But it hadn't happened. If anything, I was happier, sickeningly so, according to Zack.

And last week, I decided it was time all of my family met them. So I'd booked us a flight and here we were in Canada.

Hearing a groan, my head whipped around. "Oh, good. You're awake. Breakfast's here."

I poured us all out a coffee. Although looking at them two, it might take more than one cup of coffee and a breakfast special buffet to get them moving.

Alex sat up and looked adorably grumpy. I'd learned early on he wasn't a morning person.

"Morning gorgeous," said Josh, sliding it out of bed, scrubbing the heel of his hand into his left eye, yawning. He walked over to me with his morning wood saluting me.

Not hiding my teasing smile. "Is it me or the coffee you're happy to see?" I held out the cup for him.

"You." He dropped a kiss on my forehead and plucked the cup from my hand. "Sticking my dick into a steaming cup of coffee won't get me off." He grinned.

Lightly elbowing him in the ribs, he oomph'd and I picked up mine and Alex's drinks and made my way back to the bed, perching my ass on the edge.

"What time is your family expecting us?" Yawned Alex, taking his cup from me.

"Ten." As well as us coming over. The rest of my family would be there too. My brother had announced his engagement, so today was the start of us celebrating that. My family was big on celebrating. And hopefully, everyone would focus more on his news and their wedding plans rather than on our relationship.

My mom still wasn't fully on-board with our little set-up. But slowly, she'd started making agreeable sounds which I hoped meant she she was swaying to my side. And I wanted to tell her in person what I hadn't even told the guys yet.

Listening to Alex and Josh chat about nothing in particular, I was happy to see neither looking worried or anxious about today. Although, neither looked enthralled either.

I'd been so lucky with their families. Josh's family had adopted me into the fold and his mom texted me all the time. And Alex's sister Nessy. Well, like her brother it was hard not to fall in love. Although her mental age meant she sometimes sulked when she wasn't given enough attention. And watching her and Alex together could easily warm the coldest of hearts.

Perhaps I needed to quit worrying, or maybe I just needed a distraction?

I took another sip of my coffee and then placed it down on the bedside table. "Right. Who wants their dick sucked first?"

That earned me matching smiles as they both presented me with their erect dicks... pity my mouth wasn't wide enough for two, although I could try...

~ ~

The day passed pretty quickly. "Don't be nervous," I looked over my shoulder. "None of them bite." Winking. "Unless you ask nicely!"

They both returned easy smiles. In truth, in was me who was shitting myself now that we were here and the reality of what could easily turn into a shit-show.

We should have been here an hour ago, but I kept us at the hotel for longer than necessary, insisting I deep condition my hair and then carefully tended to my curls trying to soothe my jangled nerves.

Why? What had me on edge?

My mom was a force of nature all by herself and they had experienced that firsthand. Everyone else, well, they pulled no punches either.

"Ready when you are!" said Alex, and Josh nodded.

And their smiles steam-rolled over my worries.

Climbing up the steps to my family home, I opened the front door, which was always open. Family and friends came and went all day.

Swinging the door open wider, we were greeted by my seven-year-old nieces. They were twins... or twin terrors, as I liked to call them. Everyone else called them little angels.

Yeah right. Lucifer had been a fallen angel, and trust me. Satan had nothing on these two.

"Aunty Ivy's here!" yelled out Martha.

"And she got two huge-ass white guys with her," yelled Molly.

"Should you be using the word 'ass'?" I propped my hands on my hips, giving them my best stink eye. It had zero effect.

Alex and Josh chuckled behind me.

"Get ready for it..." I warned.

And then came the thunder of feet and chattering mouths as my family descended on us.  They swept us up in hugs and kisses and when I finally untangled myself; I turned around and couldn't help but laugh.

My mom had been busy, and it wasn't even Christmas!

She had knitted them both jumpers, and they were actually putting them on.

Thankfully, they were plain in style and the green colour suited them both. They would have Christmas to look forward to their sparkly decorated jumpers, but they wouldn't be alone. We all got one.

Dragging back my laughter, neither looked phased as my grams replaced my mom and was patting them on their shoulders and cheeks like they were dogs.

My brothers pushed in, and even more shocking, they were welcoming with my eldest, Matthew, dishing out man hugs.

Had they all got high before we got here? Something in the water? Invasion of the body snatchers?

I relaxed a little when Grams nudged my shoulder with hers. "I get good feelings 'bout them. You hold on tight to those two."

That was the seal of approval from my Gram's mojo, and I finally relaxed... a little.

Half an hour later, I managed to get my mom alone in the kitchen, feeling safe enough to leave the guys alone with my brothers.

I tried to look chilled and hide the emotions churning in my guts. "Need any help?"

Her head lifted. "Nope. All good here." She was putting the final touches to a cake she baked for my brother's engagement. "There. Perfect." She stood back to admire it.

"It's beautiful Mom." My mom was an amazing baker. Sadly, none of her skills had passed down to me.

She turned and pulled me into a warm hug, her voice hitching. "I've missed you so much, Ivy. I'm so glad you're home."

I'd missed her too. I missed all of them.

We spoke on the phone a couple times a week, but she skirted around me talking about Alex and Josh or our relationship. "Me too, Mom."

She cupped my cheeks. "Now. Come on. Out with it." Her brown eyes searched mine. "I can see something eating at you."

She knew me too well. "Well, you know it's been a year now that I've been in a relationship with Josh and Alex?"

She nodded.

"Well, they've been asking me to move in. Make it more permanent." I knew this might upset the applecart. My mom was big on marriage. Living with someone, not so big on.

"And I wanted to tell you, before I give them my answer." She wasn't freaking out or doing the sign of the cross. "I want to move in with them, Mom."

"Yup, I guessed you might." My mom sighed. "Sweetheart, I'm not going to tell you what to do."

My eyes widened, nearly swallowing my tongue as she carried on.

"You're grown and I'll support you no matter what. Whatever you decide, I'm here." She sighed again. "I know I wasn't welcoming when I first met them. But I see how happy they make you."

Wow. My jaw hit the floor.

"I see how they look at you. And it might not be what I wanted for you. But I want all my kids happy. That's what's important."

A little stunned and a touch overwhelmed, I nodded. "Thanks, Mom." And then we hugged it out some more, and I felt my eyes tear up a little. "I really do love them both and it means the world to me, you accepting them...us."

She rubbed her hand up and down my back. "I know, sweetheart." Squeezing me a little tighter. "I'm sorry it took me so long to realise it, but you know better than anyone how stubborn I can be."

Yeah, that was something my mom had passed down to me.

The final knot unravelled and then she shooed me out the kitchen. Heading back into the main living area, full of laughter and smiles. I looked over the faces or my family and I knew it then. All of my family would love them. They had no choice. Josh and Alex were too freaking amazing not to love.

Their eyes landed on mine and I crooked a finger, and they both excused themselves making their way over to me.

"Everything okay?" Asked Josh, sharing a look with Alex.

"Everything is perfect." I pulled Alex to me and kissed him, and then Josh.

"And boys," I grinned. "I'm totally redecorating our bedroom when I move in."

Their faces said it all.

"Oh, and I need a walk-in closet... for my shoes."

"Anything y-y-you want. It's y-yours," said Alex.

"Anything is a dangerous word, Alexander." They moved to flank either side of me as I rested my head on Alex's shoulder and Josh's hand wrapped around mine as I looked around the room again.

I wasn't afraid of what the future had up its sleeve for us. We may never be conventional or truly accepted, but to hell with those who didn't like it. Fuck 'em all. The three of us would make up our own rules and who knew, I might end up spitting out a few little Ivy's along the way. But whatever was thrown at us, we would grab it by the balls and ride it hard.

The End!
