Temperament: Rex is a sweetheart when it comes to his master and hid Aster's colleagues, but otherwise, he can be protective, oftentimes coming off as a bit aggressive to people who don't know him. He's even willing to protect Xavier, who has the partial DNA of a cat.
Background: Rex came on the force as a puppy, at only 1.5 years of age. He's basically the best at tracking down the bad guys, finding clues easier than any other dog. In that sense, his name, derived from the Latin word for 'king', is fitting.

Breed: Aussie Shepherd

Temperament: Lily is a sweet girl, and like Rex, is willing to lay her life on the line for her handler or anyone else on the force.
