Instead of him having a stupid backstory about being hit with his grandpa's " internet gas", he was physically experimented on by his grandpa which gave him the power to know anything about the power his opponent has by chemically scanning them with his visors. The pointer like hands came after wards.

I based his basic fighting hands on computer pointers to go with the technical aesthetic.
