After what seems like hours, she finally found a safe space. Well kind of... it was a rather narrow alley, dark too. But that was the least of her worries right now. Before this nightmare happened, she was doing her normal routine, pick-pocketing. Of course it was wrong to steal, but she had to survive someway. She saw a huge man, maybe 6 to even 7 feet tall, standing right in front of her. She looked at the brooding man with greed. She reached her had towards his pocket, excited to see what she'll get from him.

He snatched her hand. His grip was agonizingly tight, almost like he was planning to break her hand. He slowly turned around, his mask slowly being exposed in the dim light.

"Your greed will be the death of you, child."

Those were the last ones she heard before sprinting as fast as she could. She never regretted something as much as she regretted this. As she finally stopped having her flashback, she heard of what seemed like footsteps. She tried to looked for an exit but it was no use. It was a dead end. She looked up to see the same man, looming over her. He had a bird like mask that covered the entirety of his face. His cold, almost corpse-like hand made its way to her face. She flinched, its chillness contrasting with her warm cheek.

" There's no need to fear me child."

(Yeah right, like she's not gonna fear a seven-foot-tall man dressed in all black with a terrifying bird mask.)

He took his hand and motioned for her to take it. She looked up at him in confusion; why would he want to be friendly all of a sudden? But somehow, she felt like he was her only hope. She took it.

" I'm looking forward to having you in the family..... Asuga."
