Chapter 6

Dave's POV

If only she knew. I really wanted to show her but I couldn't. Especially with egderp coming.

"Dave! What did you do?" John skated up to me, this time actually stopping.

"Nothing." I tried to skate away but he grabbed my wrist.

"Dude, you know, I think I like her. I mean, can you please just let me be with her?" John looked at me with pleading eyes. I pulled my wrist back.

"Who says I don't have these feelings for her?!" I was getting so pissed of at him right now.

"Well-" he started but I skated away. I'm going to go find Sun. I got off the rink and saw her sitting down. I went over and sat down across from her.

"Hey, sorry about that."

She was silent at first. "Why can't you show me your eyes?" She was looking down at her drink.

"Egbert hasn't even seen my eyes," I thought about something for a sec, "Ok, I promise ill show you my eyes if just me an you could go somewhere soon." I shot her a grin.

She smiled, and blushed??

"I would love that."

"Hey guys!" John skated over and sat by Sun. He's really wanting to push it, isn't he? When he sat he looked straight at me," so what you guys talking about?" He put his chin in the palm of his hands. I decided to tease him a little.

"Oh, well you see I just-"

"Hey Sun. Do you maybe wanna go see a movie or somthing?" He ignored me and asked her. Nice play egbert.

"Before you answer, I need to speak to John." I glared at him.

"Let's go then." Me and John got up and went to a corner.

"Really?"

"What I do? I only asked her if she wanted to hang out." He put his hands up in defense.

"No fucking dip! You knew I already did that!" I was getting angrier and angrier at him.

"Wow Dave, calm down. I just want to get to know her better. Besides do you even like her that way" I glared at him again. I looked over at Sun, who was looking down. It looked like something was wrong.

I left egbert there hanging, not botherin answering his question, and sat by Sun.

"Yo Sun, everything ok?" I asked.

She nodded her head. "Why don't we all just have fun and both of you guys stop fighting? Why are you guys fighting?" Oh shit. I knew this was coming.

"No reason. But when John comes back over we could all skate together." She smile.

"Guys, when are we leaving?" John asked crossing his arms.

"Right after we all skate! C'mon!" She grabbed one of my hands and one of Johns, and we skated towards the rink. As we were slain we heard all kinds of mumbling around us. I looked and saw those people at school who tripped her, in the corner. Shit, could this night get any worse?

"Hey slut bag! Only you would be with those guys!" One of the bullies yelled. Sun took her Hand from mine and flipped the girl off, connecting are hands back together right after.

"Come on guys lets leave." She let go of both of are hands and skated ahead of us. When we caught up I her I remembered that her mom had kicked her out of the house.

"Hey, Sun didn't your mom kick you out of your house?" She stopped

"Oh ya." She looked down and started taking of her skate.

"Um," I scratched the back of my head," I could call jade or rose , of you wanna stay at their house for the night."

She shrugged.

I can't believe I was saying this.

"Uh, I guess you could sleep on my couch in the living room." I said as I took off mine.

"I don't want to make you do that." She took off her skate, and started in the other one.

"Oh I don't care. I'm sure my bro would be okay with it if we explain to him what happened.."

"I guess. If you truly don't mind."

"Hey guys, my dad is here, ill talk too you tomorrow."

"Bye John." Sun said. I didn't say anything. I was still pissed t him.

I turned back to Sun, "so you wanna stay?"

She did a little cute half smile."Sure."

"Ok let's go." She had just finished putting in her shoes, as did I.

Well this nights gonna be fun.
