I broke down in Mia's arms as my babysisters lifeless body was still the chair.

Me: No! Alex!

Mia rubbed my back but I pushed her off and went to her Alex. I bit my wrist and put my wrist to her mouth.

Dakota: Claire she's dead. Your blood isn't gonna help.

I grabbed Alexandra's body, ignoring the pain shooting through my hands and arms.

Me: Your too young to die. Come back to me, please.

I cried harder and held her body.

Ethan: Claire, sh-

Me: Can y'all please just leave.

Mia: Are you sur-

Me: Im positive. I want a few hours with Alexandra.

They rubbed my back and I just sat there looking down at my beautiful baby sister's face.

Me: Im so so sorry Alex. I promised to protect you but I failed.

I began sobbing as I held her closer.

I failed as a sister. I know Alexandra and I had our differences but she's still my sister. I still love her and now she's dead because of me!

I leaned against the wall and laid her head on my lap. I just looked down at her remembering all of our memories.

4 Hours Later

I dont know how long I was reminiscing but I jumped as Alexandra sat up gasping. She began screaming and looking down at her skin which was burning.

This could only mean one thing.

I jumped up and lifted her up. I ran her into the bathroom with my fast speed and dropped her into the tub. I ran the water and cut on the shower head. Her skin began healing just as quick as it was burning.

I stumbled back into the sink and looked at her.

Alexandra: W-What happened?

She was crying.

Me: I-I-You-

Alexandra: Spit it out!

Me: Your transitioning into a vampire.

Alexandra: Wh-What? No. Those only exist in books.

I sighed and grabbed the razor. Her eyes widened as I slit my arm. The wound closed uo quickly.

Me: No they dont. Im one.

I slowly came towards her but stopped once she said the four words that broke my heart.

Alexandra: Stay away from me!

Me: Alex-

She stood up and wrapped a towel around her.

Alexandra: H-How did you do that? What are you?

Me: The same thing you are.

She went silent and stepped out of the tub.

Alexandra: Im remembering things. I was attaked by some guy and you came along with...Dakota?

I sighed.

Me: Let's go talk about this. Okay?

Alexandra: I dont want to talk to you. If you a vampire, then why didn't you tell me!? Im your sister!

Me: I lnow that Alex but I couldn't tell you.

Alexandra: And why not?

Me: I was protecting you.

Alex: Some protecter you are. I dont want to be some-some creature, I want to be human!

She walked out leaving me in the bathroom and a few seconds later I heard her door slam shut. I sighed and went downstairs to where my phone was. I called the only person that Alexandra might actaully listen to; Dakota.

Dakota: Yeah.

Me: Um can you come over? Its not something that I can say over the phone.

Dakota: Yeah. Be there soon.

Me: Okay.

We hung up and I sat on the couch waiting for Dakota.

The door opened and Dakota walked in. She looked at where Alexandra's body once was and her face scrunched up.

Dakota: Where's her body?

I sighed.

Me: She's transitioning into a vampire and remembering all the things I've compelled her to forget.

Dakota: No. What? How?

Me: I dont know but she's not listening to me. She's mad because I didn't tell her I was a vampire. So I was hoping maybe she'd listen to you.

Dakota: Sorry maybe your forgetting I'm a vampire as well.

Me: Of course not idiot but she likes you, maybe she'll listen to you.

She sighed and nodded.

Dakota: I'll give it a shot. Is she in her room?

Me: Yeah.

Dakota: Okay. I'll give it a shot.

She headed up the steps and I sighed. Who the hell could've done this?

Dakota | Alexandra's Room

I was sitting on her window seat and she sat on the bed with her head in her hands.

Alexandra: There's something wrong with me.

Me: Theres no-

Alexandra: Yes it is! You have no clue how it feels! It feels like the world is crashing down on me!

She began crying so I got up and sat beside her. She laid on my shoulder and cried. I swung her legs over mine and held her tight.

Me: Alexandra, there's nothing wrong with beinv a vampire. Infact its actually pretty cool.

Alexandra: And how would you know?

Me: Take a guess.

Alexandra: Your a vampire too!?

She got out of my embrace and bagan pacing back and forth while muttering to herself.

Alexandra: Oh my God, I liked a vampire. Wait no, I like a vampire. Oh God. Wh-

Me: Alex, chill babygirl. I promise you it will be okay.

She stopped and looked at me with teary eyes.

Alexandra: Im scared. How do I know it's going to be okay? Im dead.

Me: Well not fully. Your kind of like a zombie. Your half dead and you'll be craving blood instead of brains and you'll live forever.

She shrugged.

Alexandra: Everything is heightened.

Me: Yeah I know but you can control it.

Alexandra: I have no one to help with that.

Me: You know 4 vampires.

Alexandra: I only know two.

Me: Ethan and Mia.

Alexandra: What the hell. Why didn't nobody tell me anything!

Me: We couldn't. None of our closest friends or family knows. There's not many of us in the world. Infact its less than 200 because we're getting wiped out. We're being taken and experimented on.

Alexandra: I dont want to be experimented on!

I stood infront of her and grabbed her hands.

Me: And you wont be if you let us help you.

I wiped the remaining of her tears and put our foreheads together.

Me: You gonna let us help you?

She nodded.

Alexandra: Yeah. Promise you'll be there for me. All the way even after I can control it.

Me: I promise.

She wrapped her arms around me and laid her head on my shoulder. I wrapped mine around her and held her close.

Alexandra: Thank you Kota.

Me: Your welcome.

Alexandra: I yelled at Claire, I should probably apologize.

Me: Later. Right now you need blood or your gonna die.

She pulled back a bit.

Alexandra: What?

Me: Your still transitioning. When you drink human blood, then you'll become a full vampire.

Alexandra: If I dont, then I die.

Me: Yeah.

Alexandra: Do I have to kill someone?

Me: No. Of course not. You can drink from a blood bag or you can drink out the veins. You choose and I'll get get.

She giggled.

Alexandra: How are you gonna get a entire person in my room?

I smirked.

Me: Like this.

I ran out the window with my speed, got a random person, took them back to Alexandra's room and sat them on the window seat.

Alexandra: That was only 4 seconds!

Me: I know. It would've been quicker but eh.

Alexandra and I looked at the scared girl on the window seat. I went up to her and compelled her to be quiet.

Me: Take it.

Alexandra: How.

Me: Lemme give you a boost.

I took the girls wrist amd bit into it. I began drinking her blood. I pulled back and looked at Alexandra with a bloody mouth.

Me: Go ahead.

Her eyes went black and she slowly walked over to the girl. She took her wrist and drank her blood. I pulled her back after the girl was nearly dead. I gave her some of my blood and sent her on her merry way out the window with a erased mind.

Alexandra: Your surprisingly cute with a bloody mouth.

I smirked and grabbed her by her waist.

Me: And your cute always.

She blushed and licked the blood from my mouth then I wiped the rest off.
