~MIA POV~

To say that Jin came to my work place and invited me to a lunch date, was not a lovely surprise then I'd be lying. He surprised me and I couldn't say no. I mean I knew that we were going to go on a date at some point since he asked me that not that long ago but because I was working so much as well as he was I just didn't know when that was going to happen.

I'm glad he asked me but he also happened to ask my dad too when my dad purposely came up to meet him and ask questions but my dad seemed okay with Jin so had no complaints my dad even whispered to me that I have early permission to marry this man if I wanted to and he did it in front of Jin which was loud enough for Jin to hear. I was so embarrassed and couldn't wait to get out of there.

I didn't have a place in mind to go to but Jin obviously did, taking my hand the whole way there we walked down the street to a cute little restaurant that was open for lunch so we entered and was shown to a table and we ordered pretty quickly since I like my food and so does Jin. It wasn't hard to find what we wanted to eat and drink.

We picked up small talk, about what we had been up to after all these years and it was nice to finally be able to speak to him one on one and in person too, but somehow our conversation ended up to Y/n and Jungkook. I didn't mind since the two of us care about those two deeply. I'm still unsure of Jungkook if I'm totally honest because I've seen him blow up in rage twice now so I feel like I would have to walk around egg shells when it comes to him but if Y/n is happy then so am I. She's like my sister just like Jennie is and Hobi as my brother but I'm slowly gaining a relationship with him again since I was with him a few days ago for dinner.

"You know Jungkook and Y/n kissed the other night right?" Jin

I almost spit out my water as I was drinking and ended up choking at the sudden news. I had no idea. I mean I know the past two days Y/n and Jungkook have been hanging out but she never told me they kissed.

"I'm sorry but what? They kissed?"

He nods and hands me a napkin so I could wipe the water that was slipping out my lips still as I tried to dry it away with my fingers and hide my embarrassment even more.

"Yeah like two nights ago. Jungkook wouldn't stop talking about it yesterday, he was like a school boy with a crush or even a puppy wagging it's tail. He hasn't been this happy in a long time." Jin

I only hum and wipe my mouth, but the thoughts of how happy Y/n had been lately comes to mind also. She is also head over heels and I'm slightly worried but I have to remind myself that if she's happy then I should be happy for her and then remember the time back at his house. The time were he blew up and Y/n somehow got him to calm down so quickly when his friends couldn't. That day I have to say made me speechless.

"Yeah, Y/n is the same. Even after what has happened between the two I would think Y/n is very happy. A love sick teenager if you ask me."

I giggled to myself popping the napkin down beside me and look back at him from across the table when he too laughs.

"See, they're perfect for each other if you ask me. Jungkook has always had a thing for her." Jin

"Oh I know. I remember seeing him in school with the way he would look at her. I just thought he was being creepy but Y/n always thought he was cute too which is why she always tried to talk to him. She liked him more than she let on."

I admitted when that was a secret but why hide it now when it's clear that those two like each other so much. Even in school it's just none of them admitted it and yet also with what happened between the two. Maybe Jungkook was right? Y/n had maybe always been his with out Y/n even realising it. I dot know it's weird to say but it seems true.

"I can agree there. Those two made it obvious. Why do you think at that party I dared Jungkook to make out with Y/n? I was hoping it would give them that nudge that they needed. It almost worked." Jin

He shrugged picking up his glass of water and taking a sip. I think it would of worked too but the events of that night ruined it but at the same time it didn't. A beautiful little boy came from it and I would think that it some how in a strange way brought Jungkook and Y/n closer to each other now knowing the truth about the whole night.

"Yeah well I give it a few more months and those two might end up together in a relationship. Jungkook even asked her for a date yesterday at the supermarket during his lunch break I assume."

"Ah so that's where that little bugger went. I was looking for him but I couldn't find him or Yoongi for that matter." Jin

Oh yes, Yoongi was there too.

Y/n told me about Yoongi and Jennie the way they were together with Jennies squeaky flirty voice. I know that all too well and so does Y/n.

"Yeah well I think another romance could be blossoming."

I smirked at him with a wiggle of my brows and he giggles placing his glass down with a nod as if he knows all too well what I'm talking about.

"Yoongi and Jennie? Oh I know. I caught Yoongi the other day checking out her Instagram. He thinks I'm stupid but I know that look he pulls when he looks her. I ship it." Jin

I burst out into a fit of giggles and Jin couldn't help but to laugh too. I love laughing with this man. I cant help it despite the looks we get because of how loud we laugh but I don't care.

"He does that? Wow, I thought Jennie was bad, I caught her looking through her year book for his picture the other day and I swear she didn't know I was there and she spoke to it like a teenager with a crush and kissed it!"

Again we laughed and Jin threw his head back holding his stomach.

"Don't tell her I told you that. She'll kill me."

I said between laughter and he shook his head wiping his eyes.

"Don't worry I wont. Just don't tell Yoongi what I told you either. I think I would suffer the same fate." Jin

We calmed down from our laughter ignoring the stares we were getting as the waiter came over with our orders and left after a respectful bow and then walked away leaving us alone again.

"Did you know too that apparently yesterday when Y/n was at work and Jungkook was with her someone was taking pictures of them?"

I only asked picking up my fork to dive into my grilled chicken that looked delicious. I skipped breakfast this morning so this was absolutely mouth watering. Jin however dropped his own cutlery with his mouth hung open.

"What? I didn't know this, how do they know a picture was taken?" Jin

"Y/n told me last night. She said they were talking and two different times there was flashes and the first time Jungkook checked but found no one with a camera and then the second time was when Jungkook ran off after saying good bye to find out who did that and later texted her to say he still didn't find anyone. They're actually worried now in case someone tries to take pictures of Jihyun too at day care."

Jin scoffed with a shake of his head and takes out his phone from his pocket glaring at it and began angry texting to who ever it was he was texting.

"I'm sorry Mia, but no one told me this and I seen the ass this morning and last night he said nothing. Jihyun should come back to the day care at our work place. It could be safer that way." jin

He spoke while angry texting and I couldn't agree more with him.

"I think that's what they were texting about last night. Y/n doesn't feel comfortable with it and Jungkook sounded more than happy to take Jihyun to his day care than the one he's in."

Jin stares at his phone clicking his tongue and then putting it away back in his pocket.

"I'm sorry about my change of attitude Mia, its' just stressful times." Jin

"It's okay I understand. We all want to know why this has happened in the first place. Jungkook and Y/n are our friends after all, we're like a family in a strange weird way."

Jin breaks into a wide handsome smile that has me weak in the knees. It's a good thing I;m sitting or I'd swoon.

"That's very true and it's brought me back to you Mia. You have no idea how much I've missed you over the years. I never stopped thinking about you." Jin

His words soften my heart, it was hard for me too when he left. He would always be the love of my life and I love him deeply, that never stopped.

"I missed you too Jinnie."

He reaches over to gently grab my hand that was rested on the table and brings the back of my hand up to his lips all the while staring into my eyes that caught me in a trance. I watched him softly kiss the back of my hand with his soft plumpy lips that I would love to feel on my own again.

Oh god I missed this man.
